DH ate the last of my cereal today.  Doesn't he know not to eat the last of anything!?  Planning on going to the pool with DD and my sister today - should be fun.

Just DD's birthday at the end of the month.  I'm doing my best not to go full on Pinterest.

8 Weeks today! Baby is as big as a raspberry!

2) How are you feeling?
Okay! Sore boobs, acne galore and some nausea when I am hungry! Oh and can't forget the fatigue, I can barely make it through the workday!

3) Any appointments this week?

8 week ultrasound on Friday! We are so excited!

4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
Is it Friday yet? Want to see the little peanut and start my vacation! =]

5) GTKY: Any fun plans for August?
My vacation is next week, so excited to just spend some quality time with DH and we are also going camping the last weekend in August with all of our friends!

This is is my first official ticker change check in because I wasn't sure how far along I was before! 

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 8 weeks, raspberry 

2) How are you feeling? Good days and bad days. Mostly good. I was off work last week when the nausea started to set in which I was grateful for. Going back yesterday was tough. I had to walk out of my room with a patient to go dry heave over the toilet. In the mornings I can't think about food but I'm ravenous in the evening. 

3) Any appointments this week? Nope, had our first ultrasound last week

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? Excited to start having morning sickness as crazy as that sounds. I was worried more than grateful when I didn't feel anything at all 

5) GTKY: Any fun plans for August? My birthday is tomorrow I work all day so I'm going out Friday night to my favorite restaurant to celebrate with DH! And dinner at my parents tonight. So I guess I get like a 3 day long birthday lol

7 weeks. I officially have a blueberry.

How are you feeling?
Pretty great! No morning sickness, tired here and there but nothing crazy. Still working out regularly. Boobs feel huge, but that's about it. I've been telling the few people that know that I wish I was having more symptoms so that I know everything is going ok. 

Any appointments this week?
No, first appt is Monday August 7. I do work in a hospital though and have already gotten 2 ultrasounds. It's always good having friends down there . Planning on going again Thursday or Friday to hear the heart beat! 

Rants/raves/questions?
None that I can think of right now. I've been googling tons of stuff!

Any fun plans for August?
Going home next weekend(live in St. Louis, but from Oklahoma) to surprise my family with the news! One of my friends made cute mugs and onesies for our parents. It's my in laws first grand baby and my parents' 10th! So excited to tell them!

GTKY: Any fun plans for August?  A bit of camping, but mostly work.  It’s a pretty boring summer for us.

 

@BJcakes08 I feel ya.  Today I had just intubated a kid for his OR when a massive wave of nausea swept over me.  Thankfully at that exact second a colleague peaked in to tell me if I didn’t take a break right then I may not get one as the emergency list was pilling up.  I took the opportunity to walk briskly out the room and straight to the bathroom.  I have no idea what I would have done if he hadn’t been there.  It isn’t like I can just walk out on an anesthetised kid, and they kinda frown on vomiting in the OR.  Plus it may have given me away, and I’m still trying to keep this pregnancy on the down low.

@npkat When I’m on-call and I have a bit between cases, I too often sneak-a-peak with one of our ultrasound machines.  There has to be one perk to working so many nights and weekends.

@lifeisbetteronthered ; definitely! I'm assuming you're an anesthesiologist or CRNA? Where Are you from? I'm a heart failure nurse practitioner at a big university hospital in St. Louis. I'm still keeping it under wraps at work as long as I can too.

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 9 weeks (finally officially a Tuesday ticker change!) Baby is the size of a cherry 

2) How are you feeling? I felt the crappiest last week, I think, but I still have a few hours to half a day where I'm nauseated to the point of breaking out in a sweat. I'm hoping this is a corner I'm turning!!! The exhaustion is no joke. I am beyond tired and my two kids need an active mom!

3) Any appointments this week? I just had the dating u/s yesterday, and it went well. I have to set up my prenatal appointments tomorrow.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm getting hopeful that I think I may be out of the worst of the 1st tri, but I still have a few weeks left, so I'm nervous to call that one just yet.

5) GTKY: Any fun plans for August? We have a family vacation starting tomorrow with my siblings and their families, and then DD's birthday is at the end of August. Lots to do before school begins!

1) How far along are you? How big is baby? 8 weeks today according to US!

2) How are you feeling? Nauseous. Either starving or not hungry at all.

3) Any appointments this week? First one today. Ultrasound pee test and blood draw.

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? We'll be doing the 1st tri down syndrome screening again but I was told they no longer do an ultrasound with it. I was also told they can tell us the sex at that time though. Debating if i want to know that early or wait til the anatomy scan!

5) GTKY: Any fun plans for August? None! Everything is finally done. Vacation and birthdays. Low key month.

@becausescience I've really enjoyed having DD's birthday at the end of August and I thought I'd hate it because it's right near Labor Day. It's been great so far! What is your DD's plan? Do you do a family party?

@LiveNLove44 It is for her first bday so we are going big. Friends and family. Yard games. S'mores. Cake smash. In the future it'll just be our immediate families.

As of today, I am 8 weeks. 

2) How are you feeling?
I was in an awful mood earlier, but feeling better. I was a bit tired today but not nearly as tired as I have been in recent days. But I have consistently been hungry as hell!

3) Any appointments this week?
US on Thursday! WOO WOO!

4) Rants/Raves/Questions?
None really at the moment. 

5) GTKY: Any fun plans for August?
Somewhat, my SO and are going on little vacation for a few days for a little poolside R&R this weekend.

2) How are you feeling? Tired still. 

3) Any appointments this week? Next week Thursday is my US and a check up. Have to be at the clinic at 8 am and it's an hr drive. Fml 

4) Rants/Raves/Questions? I didn't think the sciatic pain would start this early but I think I'm screwed this pregnancy. Plus all this stretching and lightening vag is getting old already. 

5) GTKY: Any fun plans for August? My birthday and my daughter's birthday is this month. She starts school next week too! Oh and we plan on telling my parents when they come for DDs party. The kids will be wearing shirts and hopefully my parents will notice lol.
