Measuring small - share positive stories pls???

im 7w0 and very certain of my dates, but my scan today measure 6w2. There was a good hb. I'm worried sick, pgal doesn't help. My midwife said I don't need to worry. Please help ease my concerns, any of you have this experience in the past?

Ive always measured right right on in the past.

Especially early on those scans can be pretty inaccurate and babies can have times of fast growth spurts and times when it's a bit slower.  Trust the professional!  If they aren't worried then you don't need to be either.

I don't have any stories of my own, but I'm sending you good vibes!

Thanks @antoto I rationally know there's a margin of error (I even said that to dh in the car) but I'm still super freaked out.

My youngest two boys have measured smaller despite me knowing my dates.  This baby is too.  They always catch up by eight weeks and measure on time or ahead.  The good news is you saw a strong heartbeat and I think I have read that once you see that your risks decrease significantly.

*hugs* @pghctwife  maybe looking up some positive affirmations could help?  I like to repeat them to myself whenever I find myself doubting.

@pghctwife my first scan I was measuring a few days behind, and my second ultrasound showed right on track. Fingers crossed baby catches up!

Glad there was a good HB! My second was measuring 5 days behind at my first scan around 8 weeks and I was charting so I am very confident of my O date. ((HUGS))

Super common! My OB said anything less than a week difference isn't a big deal. 

When I was pregnant with DS, I had an 8 week US due to some bleeding. He measured at 7w2d. And now he's 2 years old and sitting next to me watching Paw Patrol as I type this.

Thank you! I'm feeling better. My midwife also said I can go get a follow up in a couple weeks for peace of mind.
