So I'm starting this off with a massive Debbie Downer TW.  I'll be around but mostly lurking for a few days, possibly posting/love titting, not sure yet.  Just found out yesterday that one of MH & my best friends passed away very unexpectedly. I'm lucky in that I've never really had to go through this before, but well... it's really hard right now.  Let's face it, I'll probably be around more than I'm expecting right now, cause well it's TB.  Happy Monday?  Hug your loved ones extra tight for me today.

Sorry I ghosted all last week. TW (also death):

I was gone abruptly last week because my mother-in-law died very suddenly and MH and I flew to be with family as fast as possible. We are still here, and going home this evening. It's been terrible and awful. My MIL was the best and I loved her a whole lot and this isn't fucking fair. 

So I'll be participating in the boards slowly I think. Don't have it in me to do the dailies yet but I did miss you ladies quite a bit. And holy YAYYAYYAY to all the grads last week, that makes me so happy

@looeeze I'm so sorry girl, it's so unfair! I want to cry and scream and punch something all agree same time. 

Mh told me to stop stop dwelling on the "he's gone part" and remember the good memories and what we got to share with him. And that this is just "A" being a flake on us again and we'll see him again eventually. We literally just saw him Wednesday night, and I was too absorbed in my own crap to take 10 minutes and have a real conversation with him. And now he's gone as of Thursday morning. I just want to redo Wednesday even if it results the same and give him a hug.

@looeeze sorry about your MIL. I lost my MIL during my first marraige and man it was tough my former hubs was super close with his mom so it was extremely hard on him. Your hubs will be glad to have you in the months to come! Hugs!

I agree with what others have said, everyone grieves differently. Don't try to dwell too much on that last interaction. My father passed away when I was a chief resident. The last conversation I ever had with him was about his pain medication and the varying lengths of action of different oral pain meds. I was swamped with work getting ready for a lecture so I ended up not talking to him as long as I should have. He was still so happy to have a child that followed him into medicine and just wanted to talk about it. That was awhile ago and I still tear up thinking about that interaction. He died abruptly the next day. It's not fair to yourself to focus on any particular interaction (or lack thereof) that you had with someone. Your relationship with them is the sum total of your interactions, not the net result of the last one. The only thing I found that helped me when I keep dwelling on that last conversation, was picking a particularly meaningful interaction with my dad. Every time I started to feel down about that conversation, I made myself think of the meaningful moment and it made me feel better. I hope that helps. 

@looeeze I'm so sorry about your MIL. Losing a parent is awful. I don't even have words. You have my thoughts and prayers for yourself and your husband.

@izza2 I have a couple of facebook groups that I follow pretty closely but mostly professional ones. I haven't ventured much beyond that because I feel like it's easily a rabbit hole I could fall down. Plus I can imagine them being pretty nonscientific and I think I would quickly lose my shit and get banned.

@fishsticks-n-custard - I'll need to find some more professional ones and see what they're like. The ones I found/joined I "noped" out of pretty quick. I think I've been spoiled with TB, because I found it weird you couldn't talk about anything but TTC, and you could only whine about TTGP on certain days, and the lack of science... *shudder*

I know this is petty, but I just calculated the EDD for O-ing 7/25 and it gave me April 17. Now, just to be clear here, I will be 100% thrilled if I get KU this cycle, but if I could pick a month to have a baby, April would be at the bottom of my list. Some of my least favorite people are born in April.

I'm on day 47 of my cycle and AF is still MIA. I know I'm not KU, but I'm so annoyed- I just want to get it over with. My breasts were so swollen until this morning that chopping them off seemed like a good option, and I feel so bloated that I feel like if you stuck me with a pin I'd make a sound like a balloon deflating. I went to my gyno last week and had an ultrasound and bloodwork done- everything is normal. There's literally no explanation, aside from my body just trying to annoy the fuck out of me. I feel like I need to go the beach in a white bikini and a white dress, or walk around in white shorts with no underwear to get it to start.

@jsnakehole - Was she able to tell you if you had ovulated since she did an u/s? Did she tell you to come back for provera if you hit CD60? My last cycle was 73 days long, so I feel your pain.

@looeeze so very sorry to hear about your sudden loss.  We lost SFIL pretty abruptly in 2014, so while I guess it was a few years ago now, it still feels pretty fresh.  Hang in there, and please feel free to PM me any time... ❤  same goes for you too @lurvleybunchococonuts my door is always open... @pebbledam I was just thinking this yesterday too. My mother, sister and MIL are all Aries and born in April. Love them all, but don't think I could take another Aries in my life. I have hit max capacity. 

@jsnakehole Sorry you are having a rough cycle. I thinking luring AF out with white is a fantastic idea. Seems to be her Kryptonite!
