WAYDTGKU: PNVs, BBT, waiting for AF to depart
R/R: I had a great time at my librarian conference over the weekend, though I missed checking in here more often! I got to hear both John Lewis and Hillary Clinton speak about the importance of the work that librarians do, which was pretty awesome. I also got a lot of free books and was able to drown my arrival-of-AF sorrows with a free mimosa from one of the big publishers!
CS/Q: Nope, AF arrived right on schedule. Sigh.
GTKY: There are so many instruments I'd like to be able to play! I think the fiddle would be my first choice, though maybe I should say mastering the mandolin since I own one and can already play a little...

R/R: rant - feel kinda crappy today, I hope I'm not getting sick. rave - With 4th of July around the corner I'd like to note that my pnvs + daily med are oh so patriotic. One is red, one is white, and one is blue. Om nom nom, 'murica get in my belly!
CS/Q: Anyone else have lower than "normal" temps? Mine have been ranging from 96.7 to 97.7, could be the cheapy BBT I got (only one I could find at the local store and was too impatient to order one online)? It'd brand new so the battery should be fine. I'll keep temping, hopefully it'll show the shift. Maybe I'm just cold blooded?

CS/Q: *TW I used FF to chart with my last pregnancy about 1.5 years ago and it worked pretty well. I ended up getting a new phone in the fall; when I finally decided to start charting, one of the apps that popped up was Kindara. I don't have the kindara bbt, but the app was free and it had good reviews so I downloaded it. Now I am thinking I should switch back to FF...however, does FF allow you to go backward and enter data? I do not want to lose the data I've kept on my cycle the past few months. end TW*
I agree with @nitnat007 about being fluent in another language. I know Spanish well enough to get by, but I would love to speak it fluently. I also like @becausescience 's idea of a graphic design skill so that I could design my own invitations and other items.

@lurvleybunchococonuts those sound yummy! My SO can whistle really loudly and I'm a little envious. I can whistle very quietly along with a song and that's about it. It's quite useful having him around when we need to get someone's attention from far away or cheering at sporting events.

CS/Q: The only days recently that I haven't temped were the day's I was traveling because I woke up super early to drive for 8.5 hours. Yet today I had a 1 degree spike in my temp and FF says ovulation not detected? I'm new to FF so I'm not really sure how fast it determines when O is since this is my first month recording in FF. I did have some intense cramping yesterday that lasted only about 5 min on my very low right side of my abdomen, so I was thinking O was yesterday.

@lurvleybunchococonuts My temps have always been close to the range you mentioned. Granted, I have PCOS and don't ovulate, so idk what my temps would look like if I ovulated. But I do know that pre-O (which is all the time for me) my temps are in that range. Not sure how helpful that is.... Oh, and I definitely also googled lower than normal temperatures back when I first started temping.
ETA - Maybe I do kind of fit into this daily thread since I'm always WTO? But then again, I don't ovulate....so I can't really be waiting for something that won't occur without medication (and I'm not on a medicated cycle yet). And there are definitely no TWWs for me. Obviously I'm over-thinking this.

@nitnat007 Languages would be fun too!
@wisewitch222 some people get ovulation spotting. You don't hear about it much but I know its a thing. It really depends on where it shows up.. later in the LP it can indicate an issue with hormones. When do you normally O?
@MrsMiller8588 I am having a busy work week too! YOU CAN DO IT!
@SkilledSailor SO jelly of your work from home day!!
@dukestar5 I tried kindara but tbh, ff is easier and seems to work better. also its a platform more people use so its easier to share. I kept the kindara app and just went back to ff (this was a couple years ago). I dunno if you can back fill... I didn't even bother.
@JennyColada I have a love/hate with mobile bumping too... I wish it was easier because its usually when I'm on my phone that I have the most time to bump
@eliz2791So sorry about your gmother! FF usually take several days beyond your temp spike to give you an O. Three consecutive or if you have fall back, after the 4th usually.
@fishsticks-n-custard Hmm how many cycles have you taken notes/charted. It looks like you are just starting to get FQCM so it could be anytime soon. It may be harder to tell with the sparse temps, though with your last cycle being 32 days it makes sense that O should be around now
@beanship I'm totally lolling! I think since you don't O here is fine (love to chat with you anywhere, of course!) But you probably also fit a bunch of other places... I'm also in Infertility (since you don't O that would probably also be good) I'm also in TTCAL and who know what all else! Come join wherever you like!
@LazyCrane I'm also opk-ing now and its super early for me, but i'm using a fertility monitor and since its my first cycle with it it starts early to learn a pattern. I'm also side hustling with the wandfos... I love those little things!

@SkilledSailor Um, working from home by shopping for a client by the pool?? I'll take your job please! Sounds like fun! Enjoy your day!
@dukestar5 Are you drinking your coffee black now? I used to use stevia and milk or creamer, but now I just do a little almond milk, if I want a latte, or black. It was an adjustment at first for sure, but now I don't even miss the sweet.
@JennyColada real talk girl mobile bumping is so dumb, like, really really dumb for real
