GTKY 6/1 - Tattoos/Piercings

I may start doing GTKYs twice a week to liven up the board. 

GTKY: Do you have any tattoos and/or piercings? Pics welcome.

Double ear piercings but only wear earrings in the lobe because when the woman pierced the 2nd hole she put the stud in too tight and it bruised and got infected leaving a ton of scar tissue and making it hurt like hell to wear an earring. I've always wanted a tattoo but by the time I decided what I wanted DH and I started dating and I was the only girl he'd ever dated without any and he begged me not to do it.

I just have my ears pierced, but I love the GTKY threads! I enjoy when they pop up.

I have three tattoos (calf, foot, and back). I have double ear piercings, tragus piercing, and nose but I stopped wearing a nose ring about a month ago and so it may have closed by now. I used to have a belly button piercing but never repierced it after taking it out for my first pregnancy.

I have 3 tattoos (shoulder, ankle, wrist), and my ears pierced 4 times on each side (pretty sure the top two are closed now). I used to have my eyebrow & belly button pierced as well.

Just my ears pierced...well maybe they still are. I don't think I've worn earrings since my wedding 8.5 years ago.

2 holes in each ear. 2 tattoos - one on my foot of a pi symbol and one on my shoulder of the Kentucky Derby horseshoe.

@Kathryn0903 Love the Derby tattoo. I want to get a fleur de lis eventually as a tribute to Louisville. Something like this.

3 tattoos.   8 piercings,  though I'm pretty sure the top 2 have closed.  I used to have my belly button pierced but I let that close up after college haha.

Just my ears.  I am very boring but don't like the life time commitment of a tattoo.

I've always wanted a tattoo but never had the guts to pull the trigger. 

I have two holes in each ear but only wear earrings in one. My tragus is pierced but I took that out after I had my tonsils out in my 20's and never put it back. The hole is still open though. My nose is pierced too (and open) but it's frowned upon in my field to have facial piercings. One of my nipples was pierced in college. I was young and dumb and did not research it well. I had a 14 gauge ring in there and the piercer told me I would have less of a chance of rejection. Well it rejected and luckily I took it out before it split my nipple in half! I had to wear a bra to sleep for the entire 8 months it was in due to irritation. It was awful.

I have my ears pierced and 1 tattoo. I have a lotus flower (size of a quarter) on my shoulder blade. I was going to get an elephant (trunk would hold up the flower), but never got it done.

Double piercings in each ear, one cartilage, had my belly button until last year, and my tongue pierced for about 5 years. Wasn't too P.C. for a speech pathologist to have that, so I took it out after grad school was done. One tattoo.

@PinkPrincessPiper I like the twice a week idea!

I'm on summer break so I get to play on the bump more often! This is a fun GTKY. No tattoos for me. I change my mind too often. I have 3 piercings in my ears: tragus, rook, & anti-helix.
I also had my ears pierced for a long time but my lobes rejected most ear rings. Had my lip & belly button pierced for a bit in college. Got my nose pierced last year and loved it. Fell out while on vacation and the ring fell down the drain. By the time I got another ring it closed! I was so bummed. 

@BlackNYellow your nipple piercing story made me hurt!

I only have two holes in my ears. I'm allergic to gold, and nickel, so I have to be super careful with what I wear.  For a long time I couldn't wear much in my second holes without them bleeding. 

Dh DH and I both want to get a tattoo sometime, but can't figure out what or where. I think he wants something on his shoulder, where as I always thought the arch or my foot would be cool, but I don't think i could do it. I have thought about getting my wedding date and soon to be DSs bday on the back of my neck, in a cool font (like hylian from Zelda), but I'm just so indecisive.

And here I was thinking I was cool because I used to have my cartiledge pierced in high school. I love all the tattoo pics! I'm also way too indecisive to get one and feel like I'd immediately regret it for some reason.

I had 12 piercings in college: my ears, second ear holes, rook, 2 cartlidge, conch, tragus, nose, belly button, and a surface piercing on the upper left side of my chest. I've reduced down to just regular ear piercings and my nose ring. I had my conch until my c section last year when they made me remove it and I couldn't get it back in. I'm terrified of tattoos because they are forever and I'm afraid I'll change my mind like I did with my piercings.

Just both ears pierced. Didn't get them done until I was 23  . My mom and sisters have zero piercings. And no, it's not a religious thing. Just not a necessity and really, it can create expensive shopping habits so there wasn't any need to get them done. I got mine done basically because everyone else I knew had theirs pierced and I wanted to be able to wear earrings when I got married someday.

I had my lip, tongue, and belly button pierced once upon a time. I have several tattoos.  Both my feet are covered, one ankle, one wrist, both shoulders (half sleeve on one side), one between my shoulder blades, and one trailing from one shoulder down to the opposite hip. I like tattoos

At one time I had a total of 7 piercings in one ear and 5 in the other, lip on both sides, nose, tongue, belly button and one nipple. I let all my ear piercings go except bottom lobe because I could only wear gold and I was losing so many earrings it was getting expensive. My tongue never fully healed and I finally took it out after about a year of trying to make it work. My belly button ring got ripped out when it caught on my former boyfriends belly ring- ouch! My one nipple I drunkenly let a friend do in high school and it bled for 3 days straight before I decided to just take it out. The others I took out shortly after I started dating DH, he's not a huge fan of tats/piercings so I also haven't gotten any new ink since we've been together (8 years this month!) however I do have 8 tattoos from before we got together. I honestly wish I didn't have them. The only one I'd keep is the lucky the leprechaun on my butt cheek- I love him!

One tattoo on my back, pierced ears (2 on the right one), belly button (just removed a couple weeks ago and hoping it stays open), and used to have a tongue piercing.

No tattoos because I know if I get one that I'd regret it with my indecisive self. I have three holes in my ears that are almost closed now since I rarely wear earrings anymore.Two of the holes I did myself in high school....so they're kinda crooked. My dearly missed belly button ring that had to come out at 20 weeks ( hoping that it's still open at the end of this pregnancy). I also had my tongue and one nipple pierced when I was 18. Both of those didn't last more than a year.

6 tattoos and constantly craving more! Behind my ear, shoulder, back, hip, calf, and ankle. Earlobes are pierced once, 3 hoops up my cartilage on my left ear, and tragus on my right.

I let a friend drunkenly pierce my belly button in college but it rejected after a year (big surprise). Also had my tongue pierced for 4 years but I took it out before my first career interview...it'd gotten fairly negative attention from all the older men at my internship...not in a creepy way, just not taken well.

I have two piercings in my ear lobes and one cartilage. I have wanted a tattoo for awhile but haven't decided what I want fully.

I have just pierced ears, one in each. In high school and college I had four holes in my left ear, going up the cartilage, but I let those close once I graduated and moved into a professional job. 

I also have a small tattoo symbolizing my zodiac sign on my lower abdomen. Even at age 18 (which, by the way, was when super low-rise pants were in fashion), I'd get asked "But what if you get pregnant?" I'd reply, "By the time I get pregnant I'll be with a man who doesn't care and I won't be baring my torso anyway."

.... And I was right. And, luckily, it's low enough down that it hasn't stretched out all crazy. It's a bit bigger but I think it'll survive this pregnancy intact!

@AbbeyH I have a pencil mark in my finger from second grade, totally a tattoo too!  Its from a pencil being stuck into my finger in school.  The mark has been there ever since!

Ears pierced and 3 tattoos. Hip bone and ribs. My ribs say 'small but mighty' I plan on adding something to it for my kids eventually. 
DH has none but keeps saying he wants one...

I was in the elevator to my apt after walking the dog this morning, and a man asked about the tattoo on my leg. It was actually a giant bug--like 3 inches long! This was terrifying. I probably screamed. I do have a tattoo on my back (not bug-shaped), and my ears are pierced.

@mrsmatt1212 I never knew this was a thing, until buzzfeed had an article about people who had pencil marks.  Mine has faded some (Its like 23 years old), but I will be sad if it ever goes completely away.

I used to have 2 piercings in each ear, but after a year, I kept earrings out of my second piercing because I was sick and lazy and the holes closed up. Now I just have regular ear lobe piercings. No tattoos--too indecisive.

  That's crazy! Some girl named Lisa stabbed me with pencil in 3rd grade. Apparently that happens to a lot of people!
