1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 17 weeks. Baby is the size of a pomegranate.
2. How are you feeling?
Overall pretty good. I have been dealing with a lot of heartburn.
Also, I starting to think it's time for a pregnancy pillow. I have been waking up with back pain for the last two weeks.
3. Any appointments this week?
Nope AS isn't until June 21st.
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant- this was my mistake but I asked in abother forum about a possible middle name for a girl. Later in the conversation I said we narrowed it down to two and a lady attacked how I spelled one of of the names and told me to ovary up and spell it right. She said that kids should have their own identity and if both of my girls had the same initials they would fight. Both my sister and I have the same initials and not once fought over it. She then told me since it sounded like a theme it sounded two Duggar clan like. Wtf? I guess I learned my lesson.
Rave - DD was laying on my shoulder last night and told me the baby was crying. She then proceeded to rub my belly to calm the baby down. Haha
5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy? Toss up between a prenatal massage package or McDonald's Haha.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 16 weeks - which I think is avocado
2. How are you feeling? Feeling okay - still get nauseous sometimes but it's much more manageable. And I have more energy but then I use some and et really tired really fast. I could use a daily nap - but that's not going to happen.
3. Any appointments this week? No, next appointment is next Tuesday (June 6)
4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rant - My 3 year old is being a jerk - forget terrible two's - 3 years olds are hard!!! He is in this defiant phase where he says no to everything and everything you tell him not to do he does with a smile!!! He did some really dangerous things this weekend while being warned not to and to stop - really frustrating!! Any time he wants to go back to being adorable would be great!
5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy?
Probably junk food. I had so many weeks where I felt like eating nothing that if I finally felt like food even if it wasn't great I had it - trying to straighten myself out now. Since this is #3 we don't have tons to buy but once we find out if it's another boy or a girl I'll make some purchases.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 15-16 (not changing because the two docs disagree...) Apple or navel orange
2. How are you feeling? I had a lot of anxiety this weekend. I didn't feel the baby move much when I was driving 11 hours or walking around, but it got more active once I got home and laid around. I am conflicted about when it will be constantly felt because I'll have less "peace" but more relief that I can tell things are okay in there.
3. Any appointments this week? Nope, not until June 7.
4. Rants, raves, questions? Has anyone noticed a lot of veining on the side their placenta is on? I know mine is to the right from the tech and it looks like a light blue set of tree branches. Kinda cool, but I'm nervous about it becoming darker when I have to wear a bathing suit!
5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy? I cope with anxiety by shopping. I am also not really watching my weight. If I'm hungry and want something, I eat it. I went up a couple of pounds this weekend. MKMandeville That is straight up rude and also wrong. My twin and I had the same initials (before getting married) and we had totally different personalities / identities. We did run into an issue when she got her driver's license since we had the same initials and birthday and we also got a weird look when we were carded on our 22nd birthday (we look NOTHING alike), but other than those two times, it was not a big deal.
@2Dash I hope your little one snaps out of it soon, but I know my nieces and nephews took a while at that age. They love testing limits. I am actually glad I don't know the baby's sex yet because it has limited my buying!
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@2Dash DD turned 3 on the 12th and she has been in a similar defiant phase. She is a complete sweetheart and really doesn't do anything wrong but the other day she was adamant of standing in the grocery cart and it was the only way that wouldn't scream for the next hour. I am praying that these three year olds get their attitude straightened out before the babies come.
@NYTino24 baby started doing little movement around week 11 but it was like five seconds every three days and that drove me nuts. Last week Monday as soon as I hit 16 weeks I felt flips at least one every day and starting on Friday I can feel the baby kick from the outside. This is #2 for us and I hear that you feel #2 sooner than #1 but I felt DD around week 18/19 so I bet you are really close where you will be feeling it a lot more without having to lay down very soon.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 16 weeks! Size of an avocado.
2. How are you feeling? Feel good most of the time.
3. Any appointments this week? A/S on 6/22.
4. Rants, raves, questions? Not right now.
5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy? I would say food. Eating more than I should and not always choosing the most healthy option.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 16 weeks! The size of a avocado!
2. How are you feeling? feeling good this week.
3. Any appointments this week? nope not this week.
4. Rants, raves, questions? nope
5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy? The cookies at work they bake them fresh every morning and they are still warm and soooo good ... I don't know what I am going to do after this week as I work at a college and the cafeteria closes for the summer
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 15 weeks! Baby is the size of a navel orange or a chocolate eclair! 2. How are you feeling? Still tired and now only feeling nauseated when I don't eat frequently enough, 3. Any appointments this week? Not until next Monday! 4. Rants, raves, questions? I know that it is still "normal", but I don't like that I've only had a couple flutter feelings here and there and I really want to start feeling LO consistently! 5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy? Definitely food! I tend to give in to cravings without any hesitation! could be worse, I guess!
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? week 17! Baby is a pomegranate
2. How are you feeling? Great! Waiting to feel lil bit move.
3. Any appointments this week? Nope not till next week when I finally get to see lil bit and hopefully find out if R.J is a boy or girl
4. Rants, raves, questions? (Sorry my rant is long) FTM question: how do you know if you feel baby move? Rant: I don't understand why people think just because my dog is hyper ;not always just when non family members come over, when some asks to pet him on a walk and when we first set out on our walk (we don't go as much cause the ground burns his feet so we go maybe twice a week) that he is not trained and that I need to be told/shown how to handle him and that when i say he can be fence aggressive I mean it especially when he is excited and the other dog/s are barking. And that when I tell them to let me get him calmed down before he meets your dog I mean that because I don't want his excitement to trigger a fight, they don't need to force their dog to come closer saying its okay when their dog is clearly uncomfortable. 5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy? 1: spent all of Saturday in the forest with some great friends just having a great memorial day weekend. 2: had my first cup of coffee in 4 months! I haven't been able to even stand the smell till today and I've been trying not to cry over the fact I could finally drink the stupid coffee lol
@MKMandeville It's not your fault people can't hold their mean opinions to themselves. It's your choice how you wish to name your child not theirs and if you want them to have the same initials or want to spell their name a bit different that's up to you. My opinion is that if it's their first name going for a bit less complicated might be wise seeing as others have to be able to pronounce it and spell it and your kid might get tired of correcting people all the time, middle names are not used as often so the only people needing to spell it oftenish is you, your spouse and your kid, you can't change your last name so having a first and middle that go with it is wise. But like I said that is my opinion not law or anything you can name them however you see fit. I'm dealing with family that doesn't agree with our spelling for a middle name, as mentioned earlier R.J will be our kids initials, we don't know if little bit is a boy or girl but fell in love with a name that would suit ether.
@deemariec I cannot speak for everyone but with DD (baby #1) she started the initial flutters around week 14 but it wasn't consistent at all. I would describe them more of butterflies in your stomach but I always said butterflies with weights on their wings because it was stronger than the nervous butterfly feeling. Her consistent movements didn't start until week 19 and then DH felt them around 23/24. Baby #2 is definitely ahead of DD. I started to feel the butterflies again around week 11 but only for a few seconds every few days and only when laying down on my back. I started to feel what felt like summersaults in my belly at 16 weeks and just this Saturday felt an actual kick on the outside. I will tell you that it is completely normal not feel anything until 20-24 weeks especially if you're a FTM.
Have you had an ultrasound yet? Has anyone said anything about your placenta? I know a few ladies on here who said they had anterior placentas and I know that doctors say if you have an anterior placenta you may not feel movement until further along in second trimester.
I hope this helps. Don't worry momma you will feel movement before you know it.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 14 weeks-size of a peach 2. How are you feeling? pretty decent except the occasional RLP 3. Any appointments this week? I don't think so, I'm actually relieved to have a week off from doctor's appointments although I should go get my blood work done. 4. Rants, raves, questions? If this girl doesn't stop commenting how I don't look pregnant like her I'm going to snap. I'm trying to be nice and not tell her the reason she is bigger than me already is because she was 20 lbs heavier than me to start with and we're the same height. 5. GTKY: What has been your biggest/best indulgence so far during this pregnancy? I can't think of anything...
@2Dash 3s is sooo hard! 2 was nothing, my DS was still sweet as ever but as soon as he turned 3 he turned into a defiant little thing that knows it all. I'm hoping 4 will be better...
@MKMandeville That does help thank you. An no I haven't had an ultrasound yet my insurance would not cover it until it was for an anatomy scan so I have no idea where the placenta is at. I hope i feel baby soon.
1. 16 weeks - an avocado 2. Feeling good! MS is finally gone, so I'm actually entering the "feel great" portion of pregnancy. 3. Yes! Finally, lol, I have my 16 week appointment on Wednesday. 4. Rave - I love living near a pool! I took DS to the pool this morning with our friends and he had such a great time! He's conked out now, and hopefully he'll sleep for a few hours! 5. Eating anything I want. It's pretty bad. I need to exercise more lol.
1. How many weeks are you? How big is the baby? 16 as of monday. Avocado sized
