  • 1. How many weeks are you?
14 weeks today! Bye, first trimester! I won't miss you!

    2. How are you feeling?
Surprisingly good. Getting energy back and nausea is so much better. We are on vacation and I'm happy to feel human! Although I feel huge, my bump is still pretty small.

    3. Any appointments this week?
    Nope! Next is 17 weeks.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Joint pain blows. I hurt everywhere. My OB recommended taking up swimming, which I'll do in another week or two (I just got my ear pierced and it needs to heal first... but I've had no migraines since the piercing is I'm calling it a success!)

    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture!
Im on vacation so no photos, but I love my big sunny bedroom!
  • 1. How many weeks are you?
    14! Second trimester!!

    2. How are you feeling?
Im feeling great! Super tired all the time though. It's very hard to wake up in the morning. Started working out everyday again. Hoping that help with my energy level

    3. Any appointments this week?
Not until the end on June.

    4. Rants, raves, questions?
I can't think of anything right now

    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture!

This one is tough. I love every room in my house. We bought this house because it's our dream house. Since moving into it last September we haven't decorated all the rooms yet. We did not use any decorations from our old house for this house. We are starting from scratch. But there are two rooms that are semi decorated that I love. First picture is a wall in my kitchen. My kitchen is black, red and gray. I've always wanted a red accent wall. I plan to put a kitchen cart like table up against the wall as well. The black wall on the left of the red wall is a chalkboard wall. The second picture is my dining room.  Don't mind the white chairs. We haven't bought the rest of the chairs yet. I just love my dining room table and cannot wait to get the rest of the dining room decorated  I know it's not decorated but it's in the process.

  • 1. How many weeks are you?
    14 today! Hello second trimester!
    2. How are you feeling?
I had a day this week where I had good energy and was up for cleaning the bathroom. The next day was spent mostly in bed with crazy bad nausea, Soo a little off and on right now. Still feeling sick every night, but I have more of an appetite now and can eat pretty well so I am happy!
    3. Any appointments this week?
    Not for another 2 weeks
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
I really don't like taking my prenatal vitamins. They make me feel sick every time. I have tried everything I can think of, I take it with food in the evening and it's the gummy kind. Something about them just doesn't agree with me. This is my fourth brand I have tried this pregnancy and they have all been like this. Last time around they let me just switch to chewable flinstones and some folic acid supplement after the first trimester since I had tried so many types that time and had them all make me sick too. Maybe I will call the nurses and see if that's ok to do again.
    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture!
We live in an adorable mid century modern duplex house that I am kind of obsessed with. My favorite room is probably the kitchen, it has this little old oven that still works great and gold flecked counters that would look cheesy if not paired with the cute oven! It's a little messy right now but I plan to clean it today so hopefully I can get a good picture to post later in the day! Second would be my ds room! I set it up with the idea that he could be totally self sufficient in there, so his mattress is on the ground, all the toys and books are within toddler reach and he can get anything and put it away himself. At 2 he really loves being able to be so independent in there, and not have to ask for anything out of his reach. He even keeps it pretty clean with minimal help and prompting (for a 2 year old). He is still asleep but I will try to get a picture in there too when he wakes up :)
  • 1. How many weeks are you?
    15! Navel orange/yellow canary/eclair
    2. How are you feeling?
Pretty good, can't complain. Have some pain in my rib area but that's about the worst of it.
    3. Any appointments this week?
Thursday! Finally! Get to hear the heartbeat and then we're sending out our gender reveal party invites :)
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Rave: already ran all of our errands this morning. Rant: It's only noon and I could use a nap.
    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture!
I'd have to say our living room, I love the colors in it. It definitely makes me feel happy and relaxed, and I love entertaining there. I'll post a picture a little later.

    17!
    2. How are you feeling?
    Tired, but so good.
    3. Any appointments this week?
Yes I see my midwife on Monday I'm definitely looking forward to it!
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
I let my temper get ahead of me and threw a computer on the floor when my 13 year old stepson threw a fit about not wanting to go to his mom's unless he could bring the family computer. His mom has a habit of selling electronics that the kids bring over there so I said no.
    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture!
I feel like we never finished any of the rooms in our house the way I wanted to except rhetoric living room is okay. I painted it grey and green and our furniture is dark wood and the sofa and chairs are grey. It's a nice room, looking forward to getting my nursery so all the toddlers toys can get out of it.

    1. How many weeks are you?
    15 weeks

    2. How are you feeling? still pretty miserable. Lots of nausea and vomiting and I'm on day 3 of a nasty headache. I miss my migraine meds :-(

    3. Any appointments this week? nope

    4. Rants, raves, questions? I desperately need to clean our toilets but I'm so nauseous I can't do it. I keep waiting for my FI to offer, but nope. They just get nastier.

    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture! this is our dream home, we just moved in last month, so nothing is "done" but I absolutely love this house.

  • 1. 13, Little lemon (except lemon seems enormous to me when I feel like we just had a strawberry in there)

    2. Also miss migraine meds. Having some random days where I'm really sick but glad it's not 24/7 now.

    3. Not until 17 weeks sadly.

    4. Listen strangers who see me in public...I realize I have an obvious baby bump (whole other topic there) but that does not mean I want to talk to you and it SUPER does not mean I want your hands on my body. I don't even know if you wash them after you pee!

    5. My whole house! We built it over the fall and winter and moved in beginning of March (when we got pregnant which I think is hilarious for some reason) and I carefully designed every room so I'm obsessed with the entire place. Benjamin Moore Palladian Blue paint, gorgeous grey granite counters, white shaker cabinets with soft close hinges, dark hardwood floors, cream colored trim...it's all I ever dreamed of in a house and I'm glad I work from home so I get to be in it all the time!
  • @pawcall I'm sorry you're still so sick and +1 to missing migraine meds. I've been making DH give me massages instead to try to loosen up whatever tension is causing them

I just hate feeling this useless to everyone. My house is a sty (probably not really but it feels like it) and my fiancé has taken over pretty much all of my son's care. And he's NOT an easy kid by any means.

  • @pawcall I am feeling same way. I am not sick, just beyond lethargic and exhausted. We went to bed around 10:00pm last night and were up at 6:30am.Getting up off the couch is a feat for me. It's awful and I feel bad for DH because he is doing everything to take care of DS.

    That picture is too precious.

I've had more energy, but still nausea most of the day every day:(

    Appt on Friday

DH and I are having an AWESOME weekend away!! So much fun. For thankful for this 48 hours.

Weve been in our house for two years, but I've been decorating really slowly. So although I love it, it just still isn't quite there. I love our master bath that I've painted sea salt with candles everywhere.

    1. 14 weeks (+3 now...)

    2. Good, still tired but I think that'll be sticking around. Currently eating everything in sight...

    3. No appointments, next is 16 weeks.

    4. My toddler is very firmly in the terrible two's and I feel like I'm not being as patient with him as he needs and am too quick to send to time out but he just takes everything out of me!

    5. I don't really have a favorite room in the house, we're trying really hard to move actually. My backyard/patio is definitely my favorite space though.

  • 1. How many weeks are you?
17!  Pomegranate.  But I've never had one and couldn't find one at the grocery the other day (not in season?) so I'm imagining a grapefruit in my head.
    2. How are you feeling?
Exhausted.  But I blame the wedding for that, not the baby.  Though I've also realized I need to start saying "no" more often because baby is a toll on my body/energy/time whether I like admitting it or not.  (TMI) Hemorrhoids and migraines...  Not too fun.  But really pretty good over all.
    3. Any appointments this week?
Nope, Not til June 20 for anatomy.  Which I'm really hoping baby doesn't cooperate for so my doc stops fussing/teasing me about not finding out the gender.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
THE WEDDING'S OVER!!! <3 And DH has been super sweet and helpful this past weekend.  I think we both needed the time to actually chill and re-energize to a level of functioning existence again.
    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture!
I love my kitchen and my living room both.  Both very country cottage, my kitchen is a light, airy blue with white open cabinets and my living room is a barely butter yellow with a gallery wall, couch, love seat, and two wing back chairs that match nothing but are exact copies of Carl and Ellie from Up (Completely unintentional!  His grandmother gave them to us after we got married and I planned on reupholstering until we realized the Disney connection and adored it too much to change even if they don't match).

    16!
    2. How are you feeling?
I'm feeling really good.  Allergies are bad but that is par for the course where I live in TX.
    3. Any appointments this week?
    Yes - this Thursday.
    4. Rants, raves, questions?
Started working out again and just feeling like myself again.  Happy to have the energy to do spin and body pump again.
    5. GTKY: What is your favorite room in your home and how is it decorated? If you're comfortable, share a picture!
Probably my son's playroom.  We went Pottery Barn Kids crazy and it is super cute and very organized.  I am at work but will edit to add picture if my mom brain remembers.
