35 weeks so swollen feet are a given if I'm trying to be up doing anything these days. I've also noticed my stomach seems tight a lot especially when I'm up and about. Dr gave me paperwork that said if I have contractions even without pain like 4 in an hour to call them. I feel like a dummy because it's my 4th kid but seriously my stomach feels hard a lot. Idk if it's anything or not. I don't have Braxton hicks at least that I'm aware of because it's not painful. Most people I've heard talk about them are actually experiencing pain. Baby is still moving a decent amount so I'm not concerned just scratching my head about things this pregnancy that seem different. Probably because I'm an at home Mom now and have more time to think/stress about things.

I'm having horrible reflux at night.  I can't even drink water before bed or eat anything but a small early meal.  And I sleep propped up to help.  Never had this with DD so I'm wondering if this little girl has some hair because they say that causes heartburn.  Other than that just the same old stuff going on, and insomnia around 4am.
@JennMof3 I've noticed that being gassy makes my belly hard.  Maybe that's what is going on?  I get non-painful BH sometimes after going up stairs or walking a lot.

@kdanjou same here. I have been taking prilosec every night for heartburn since around 20 weeks (per doctor's recommendation) ,and that had gotten rid of it until about a week ago. Now i wake up with stomach acid in my throat and have been vomiting in the middle of the night again. No matter what I eat. The ultrasound tech did say she saw some hair during our 3D scan, maybe there is some truth to that old wives tale!
  • I have the worst heartburn too. Day and night this time. Started at 8 weeks. Gets worse every night. I had it bad with dd too, she was only born with fuzz on her head.

Acid reflux started two nights ago. Last night I didnt sleep and then was throwing up its so bad. Also RLP is a lot more frequent. I had been feeling soo great and out of nowhere I feel like its all catching up.
  • @mtvkv5 I had bad heartburn with my second girl and she had the most hair. My mom said she looked like an Eskimo baby with all the hair. It was so hard to tame I just gave up lol. My son was almost bald and I don't recall much with him. This time it's just been here and there so I'm curious to see what this Girl will have.
  • Anyone else just so crampy? I feel like I'm on my period. It's been like this for a week and I'm not due till the end of June!

Yes, but I'm almost 38w and 3cms so I expect it. I'd bring it up to your OB if it gets really uncomfortable. Could be a UTI, early labor issues, etc. so it doesn't hurt to ask.

  • I told her yesterday. She said each pregnancy is worse at the end. But omg! I'm dying! Lol
  • My belly feels hard more often too. I can't tell if it is BH or if the baby is just really pushing out on it bc it feels like the baby is everywhere!
I also have slightly painful BH when I get up from the couch, go up the stairs, or walk a lot.

This. They keep asking at my appointments if I've felt any, and I have to keep saying, maybe?, but nothing I can definitively say for sure.

Same. I think they look at me like I'm stupid because I've done this 3 times before. It's just different that's the best I can describe it.

Same here! I have the more common BH, but also this weird baby or BH thing where the whole belly feels hard but not tight. I have an appointment today, hoping to see if we are making any progress....I know it doesn't mean anything, but I'm curious!
  • Mild to moderate menstrual like pain in lower abdomen (constant) with irregular non painful contRactions...mw suggested epsom salt bath, rest, and water. Little to no relief but not getting worse. 36 +2 wks. 2nd baby.

    Anybody experienced this.

I'm dealing with it today too. My back hurts so bad though. Going to try to stay home and rest. 36 weeks tomorrow.
  • @QueenNub @Kylieslip24 I've been having non-painful BH pretty regularly since yesterday morning and now my back hurts like mild menstrual cramps. I'm 38 weeks though so I'm hoping this will lead to something sooner rather than lasting for weeks. Last night I timed and I was having non-painful BH lasting 30sec-1min20sec every 3-7 minutes for about an hour.
So my question for all the STMs.... I should wait until contractions are regular AND somewhat painful right?
  • Cramping/back pain like that can be a really early sign of labor, but you may experience them for another week or two. I wouldn't get too exited (unless your provider tells you otherwise) until you can't talk through contractions. That's when you know things are getting serious.
