Hey guyyssssss!!! The WTO thread has been jumping the past few days. I felt like I couldn't acklowdge most people on there so I just scanned and avoided commenting.
@starla I'm with you on the OPK this morning! I'll probably take another tonight to see. We were already going to start EOD today so it'd be good timing!
@pebbledam hopefully your body gets it together soon!
@ladybugsamom oh girl good luck!! I hope she survives lol
@purplg8r yay for getting back into it!!! I wouldn't normally wish this...but I'm hoping you have AF on vacation. Bc FW could make things awkward, but hey...do what you gotta do!! I know I'd be down for getting shit done but my husband wouldn't.
Month/Cycle: 11/12
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: EOD starting today until a positive which i thiiiiiink may be tonight or tomorrow. Green tea and going to be buying a pineapple on my shopping trip today. Temp, OPKs.
R/R: it is soooooo crappy out today!! But I treated myself and got a gel mani and Starbucks (green tea latte for the vag) and it is nice! I literally never do anything for myself so it felt good to get out and just have some me time!
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are your top 5 favorite makeup products? Be as specific as possible. I don't even know I use 5 things. I use revlon eye liner. Just the pencil you twist and whatever mascara (L'Oréal voluminous superstar is my current one) along with a lash curler most days. If I'm going out I throw some urban decay eye shadow into the mix. I'm fancy
WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, BBT, OPKs, morosely drinking green tea and staring out the window
R/R: Thought I was on track to O earlier this week but my body had other plans. Temps are down, CM has dried up, and I guess the wait continues! This week has been such a roller coaster of TTC emotions, especially since DH is still working that dratted OT and can't be here to HIO every time it seems like it might be a good idea. At least I'm channeling my frustration into energy for cleaning the apartment and it's looking a lot better than it did on Monday!
CS/Q: I'm wondering if all my work stress this week delayed ovulation. Is that a thing? I mean, it's not like "trapped in a war-torn country" levels of stress but I was definitely on edge a lot of the time...probably just grasping for answers that aren't there, though.
GTKY: I'm also not a make-up girl. Sometimes I wear concealer and mascara. I honestly don't care what brand they are. *shrug*
@starla and @pebbledam, I agree about the dailies. It's great that the board is so active and I love reading everyone's posts even when I'm lurking, but it is tough to keep up as an active participant sometimes when I don't have time to post until late in the day.
@pebbledam, ugh, I'm sorry your body is also doing the O fakeout thing. I was so hopeful for both of us earlier this week!
@doxiemoxie212, I hope you have a great visit with your mom and your dog! Dachshunds are so cute! (Though I just learned that apparently I cannot spell "Dachshund" without help.)
@ladybugsamom, I have a coworker like that too, I'm sorry she's been stressing you out. It's rough when you're trapped at work and can't escape obnoxious people.
@purplg8r, I loved the fireworks at Disney when I went! Seeing them two nights in a row would be so much fun. And I've also been doing the "how will my vacations align with my cycles" calculations...we'll be sharing a small cabin with DH's family a week in August so HIO will definitely not be an option if FW falls during that time! (Though I keep teasing him that if his mom wants a grandchild as much as she says she does, she should be totally supportive of whatever we need to do...)
@50Wife, I'm glad you were able to treat yourself to the mani and Starbucks! Sometimes little things like that can make a big difference mood-wise.
@starla I really like Clinique products if I'm going for a full makeup look. My wedding makeup was all Clinique. Love.
@pebbledam I'm with you on posting in the dailies. Some days are busier and I don't have time to bump as much and respond to everyone, do I just do all the lurking and love titing.
@ladybugsamom Ugh- I can't with chronic bad attitude-ers. Like, yes, everyone has bad days and sometimes it's not a choice. Sometimes it is though and you just have to suck it up. Especially in a professional setting.
@purplg8r I'm so jealous that you got to see both fireworks shows. We went to Disney on our honeymoon (my first and only time going there) and it was so magical! I cried like a baby during the fireworks! FX that you just get KU this cycle and avoid the vacation predicament. If FW does happen to be during beach week, then you've just gotta do what you've gotta do and HIO on the DL.
@50Wife Yay for treating yourself to a gel manicure on a crappy weather day. Lol at green tea latte for the vag. Good thinking!
Sorry about your cold @LadyMillil. Rest up and feel better!

R/R: DH is home this weekend and I'm having the best day so far! We went to breakfast and then went and got some cool planters that I've had my eye on. Now I'm laying in bed getting my chill on. We'll probably finish up some more wallpaper removal around here. Dinner is going to be yummy sushi that we picked up when we were out earlier.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are your top 5 favorite makeup products? Be as specific as possible. I never really wear makeup. When I do for regular stuff, I like natural feeling products. Tarte gel cheek stain, bare minerals well rested under eye brightener, bare minerals mineral veil, maybelline great lash mascara, and duwop lip venom lip plumper.
@doxiemoxie212 Thank you for putting the MF into WTO. I am so pissed at my ovaries right now that "WTO" doesn't really feel forceful enough. PS I love your dog!!!
@starla Hope you O soon! At least you have some nice weather in the meantime.
@ladybugsamom I so hate when people give someone a "pass" on being an a terrible person b/c that's "just the way he/she is". Like, maybe they should be less like that--why do we always accommodate the assholes in our lives!?
Month/Cycle: 14/12 CD: 33 WAYDTGKU: Does any of it even matter anymore??? R/R: My internet is being an asshole so I'm mobile bumping now, which I hate doing. We are taking it easy this weekend, maybe a short hike. Just sitting around mostly though cursing my body for refusing to O. CS/Q: GTKY: What are your top 5 favorite makeup products? Be as specific as possible. I'm sorta crunchy, and MH doesn't like makeup, so not a lot. A little eyeliner sometimes and unless I'm going to something fancy that's it. When I do wear make up 95% of it is organic, from Tarte. I check every make up product I buy against this database for carcinogens and other hazards --if you're interested in checking yours out: https://www.ewg.org/skindeep/browse.php?category=foundation&impurity=726336
WAYDTGKU: Ice cream, wallowing, and puppy snuggles oh and wine
R/R: Beware for a really sappy post. DH is so amazing. So we run a convention every March so we (mainly me) felt like we shouldn't try cycle 9 or 10 just because of EDD timing. After I told him that AF showed up we talked about our plan for this cycle. DH said that we want a baby so we should keep trying. Me being the obsessive planner that I am was like well how will we make it all work. DH said that he had no idea but we and what we want comes first. I'm so lucky to have him.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are your top 5 favorite makeup products? Be as specific as possible. Hard Candy Cheeky Tints in Geisha (it's been discontinued though ) Revlon Kiss Balm in Cherry and Apple Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara (the purple tube) L'Oreal Infallible Super Slim Liquid Eyeliner
R/R: We have some people over on Fridays to play board games and I never get to bed at a decent hour. This is the second Saturday in a row that I haven't taken my temperature! I'm hoping for some follicles next Wednesday and although I'm not expecting much because of my temps I'm trying my hardest not to be pessimistic.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Everything that I wear is from Julep. I really like their stuff. In no particular order: 1. "Don't leave you brows at home" in cool brown 2. High Impact Mascara 3. Eye Shadow 101 in many colors. The stick makes it so convenient. 4. Their whipped mousse lipsticks. Love them so much. 5. Skip the Brush blush in Desert Rose
They just announced their foundation for sale and I've been waiting since they took a survey about it. Unfortunately it won't be in the maven boxes until August and I'm not willing to drop 30$ on it.

**lurking from TWW** @KariAnn323 I'm sorry about CD 1. I know you've been worried about that con and that is so sweet of YH, and he's totally right! You can figure it out!
@starla@vflux33 I posted this in TWW too but no, it's ok **TW** because of the ectopic & Methotexate in February, we're not allowed to try again until May 24th. It would have been bad if we had gotten KU. There can be birth defects if I got pregnant less than 3 months after the shot so we had to use condoms. I was just hoping for a longer LP (I bled for 80 days so this was my first cycle after the loss. I spent over a hundred days in WTO so when I finally O'd again I moved over to TWW ) **end TW**
@50Wife H doesn't care, but I'm like your hubby!! And yay for treating yourself--you totally deserve it!!
@KariAnn323 I'm really sorry about CD1, but so good to hear that you and YH are on the same page and that he's being really great about everything.
@Augusta108 I missed your question when I was on mobile before. The answer is YES, definitely. You don't need to be trapped in a war-torn country to have stress-delayed O. Some people are resilient when it comes to stress and Oing, but others are not. I'm in the "not" category as well and I get EWCM patches all the time. I have way longer cycles when I am stressed about anything, and in the grand scheme of things my life is pretty cushy. It's annoying as hell and it makes me feel guilty that I'm "making it worse" by my attitude, but other than that I've been told it's not uncommon.
Got my CHs this morning so I'm headed over to TWW, but this GTKY is right up my alley so I wanted to put in my two cents.
1. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (the best, and I mix two colors for the bags under my eyes). 2. Anastasia Beverly Hills
Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette. I switch up my makeup fairly often but that is one that i just can't quit. 3.Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple volume plumping lash primer - Put that on your lashes before applying mascara. Its not fibrous like other mascaras out there because fibers fall in my eyes and then I rub my eyes all day. 4.Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Mother is a really pretty Rosey Mauve color. Its matte so I feel like those are best worn in the fall/winter time but this color could be worn year round.
5.Kat Von D
Shade + Light Eye Contour Brush - Not a makeup item, but a fan-freaking-tastic eyeshadow brush.
@vflux33, thanks for the answer! I guess maybe I'll have to be more mindful in the future about my stress levels during FW, or at least be more aware that they might affect when O happens.
It is is kind of funny that if it is indeed stress from this week's crazy work drama that disrupted my cycle, the coworker causing all the drama is also the one who constantly hounds me about when I'm going to get pregnant!
@Augusta108 that is pretty funny, yeah. Overall, been definitely struggling with that myself and trying to let more "roll off" or whatever. I don't know if you have sleep issues along with stress or wake up replaying conversations in your head at night like I do, but one thing that's helped me to naturally stress less is practicing sleep hygiene. MH and I both turn off our phones and computers by 8PM, we don't talk about stressful things after 8, stuff like that. Don't know if that helps, but maybe?
@KariAnn323 I need to start making cold teas to continue this like I was saying yesterday, but before it started warming up I was having RRLT before O, and decaf Green Tea (sometimes caf) throughout my cycle. Other people seem to have more "advanced" tea schedules though.

@LadyMillil, I hope your cold gets better soon!
@pebbledam I'm with you on posting in the dailies. Some days are busier and I don't have time to bump as much and respond to everyone, do I just do all the lurking and love titing.
@doxiemoxie212 Yay for a mom visit! Enjoy it!
Month/Cycle: 3/2 (1AL)
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: TTA this first full cycle AL, BBT, CM, PNV
@purplg8r Sorry for CD 1
@kbamomma33 we're doing sushi today too!
Month/Cycle: 14/12
CD: 33
WAYDTGKU: Does any of it even matter anymore???
R/R: My internet is being an asshole so I'm mobile bumping now, which I hate doing. We are taking it easy this weekend, maybe a short hike. Just sitting around mostly though cursing my body for refusing to O.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What are your top 5 favorite makeup products? Be as specific as possible.
CD: 1
WAYDTGKU: Ice cream, wallowing, and puppy snuggles oh and wine
R/R: Beware for a really sappy post. DH is so amazing. So we run a convention every March so we (mainly me) felt like we shouldn't try cycle 9 or 10 just because of EDD timing. After I told him that AF showed up we talked about our plan for this cycle. DH said that we want a baby so we should keep trying. Me being the obsessive planner that I am was like well how will we make it all work. DH said that he had no idea but we and what we want comes first. I'm so lucky to have him.

In no particular order:
1. "Don't leave you brows at home" in cool brown
2. High Impact Mascara

@KariAnn323 I'm sorry about CD 1. I know you've been worried about that con and that is so sweet of YH, and he's totally right! You can figure it out!
I posted this in TWW too but no, it's ok **TW** because of the ectopic & Methotexate in February, we're not allowed to try again until May 24th.
@LadyMillil I hope you feel better!!
@Augusta108 I could be wrong but I think Amy stress can affect you. FX O cones soon!!
@doxiemoxie212 I always love to see puppy pics! And your puppy is so cute!!!
@kbamomma33 yay for H being home & having a great day!!
@vflux33 ugh! I'm sorry your ovaries aren't cooperating! FX you O soon!
@KariAnn323 hey there cd buddy. Im happy about mine but I'm so sorry you got cd1 today. And I'm glad H is being so sweet & supportive.
@Mythril what board games do you guys play?
@Augusta108 I missed your question when I was on mobile before. The answer is YES, definitely. You don't need to be trapped in a war-torn country to have stress-delayed O. Some people are resilient when it comes to stress and Oing, but others are not. I'm in the "not" category as well and I get EWCM patches all the time. I have way longer cycles when I am stressed about anything, and in the grand scheme of things my life is pretty cushy. It's annoying as hell and it makes me feel guilty that I'm "making it worse" by my attitude, but other than that I've been told it's not uncommon.
1. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer (the best, and I mix two colors for the bags under my eyes).
2. Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance Eye Shadow Palette.

J18 December Siggy Challenge: Christmas Movies

@KariAnn323 Sorry about CD1.
@purplg8r Sorry I didn't know is that either!
@vflux33 Skin deep is an awesome resource.
@50Wife Maybe we can be testing buddies again!
