Anybody have any opinions of the unpopular variety today?

I don't get why everyone loves Sophie the giraffe. It's no different than any other baby chew toy imo, but people went nuts over it when I was pregnant with DS.

I don't like changing tables. I think they're pointless. Just get a dresser. (Last pregnancy, a relative offered me their old changing table, and when I said no thanks bc we have a dresser already, they looked at me like I had two heads. "It worked great for us. You're going to want one.")

I don't like showers of any variety... bridal, baby.....
I don't like attending or having them. I think they are boring, everyone seems fake and no one truly has a good time at them.

Starting to look at double strollers and why are all my favorite brands the one where the seats are next to each other. I'm sorry, but I'm not taking up that much of the sidewalk (honestly, I love Baby Jogger so much I probably WILL because I'll buy theirs) 

@Eags  YES! My daughter’s favorite animal is a giraffe and I refuse to buy it because it is NOT cute and also $. I’ll spend money for a cute giraffe but not that!

@SouthernMs Yes! I think FTMs should read this. Put a changing pad on top of the dresser! Changing tables=waste of space and money.

@SouthernMs I hate changing tables. We bought a dresser and put a changing pad on top and I thought that was much cuter! And as a bonus, is now just his dresser. 

@madcouplewithabox I like baby showers when they're for both women & men! We did a couples one for both our wedding and baby shower and served mimosas, wine, and beer to keep it fun and casual (of course I couldn't drink at my baby shower though

We have a dresser with a changing area on top. We bought it off a family friend who was done having kids, and got it for much cheaper than a new dresser. Best part is, I can take off the changing pad and have extra dresser top for storage! Separate changing tables though, just a waste of space IMO.

I also dislike showers of any kind. They were even worse when they were mine- I hate opening gifts in front of people.

madcouplewithabox I am with you for bridal showers.  I refused a bridal shower for myself, loathing the idea.  Baby showers I used to despise as well, but I actually find them fun to attend now, cheesy games, present opening, and all!

@SouthernMs, I also hate changing tables. We have a dresser with a changing pad on top, and I didn't even use THAT. In all honesty, DD usually gets changed on the bedroom floor, the bed, or the couch. Basically, wherever we happen to be is where she gets changed.

My unpopular opinion is that I think Johnny Depp is incredibly unattractive. And while we're at it, I also find Channing Tatum pretty repulsive as well.

Same -- back when child was changed, it was 80% floors. But I also like sitting on floors, so this might be a bias on my part.

Yes @cyanope! Johnny Depp is sleazy and way past his prime! Why does Disney keep casting this creep in stuff? Down with Depp! And changing tables!
