@kbamomma33 I'm sorry he'll be gone most of the month. My husband works nights, which I know isn't the same, but after a two week stretch of nights I start to feel like he's not home at all since our schedules cross.

GTKY: How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller? I'm 5'7". I'm fine with it. I might change my mind when DD gets to be taller than me.
  • @pebbledam Enjoy your sister time!

@sed8611 Ugh- I know that must be a real challenge as a couple having opposite night/day work schedules. I bet being so close, yet so far away really sucks sometimes.

@starla I've started to maybe do a load of laundry during the week or clean something too so I won't need to do it on the weekend.  I feel like my weekends are just doing house stuff anymore.
I wish I could work from home one day a week to at least do laundry so I'd have more free time.
Forget it if we have plans on a Saturday and Sunday. Nothing gets done!
  • @JJMNO1616 - FX O is today!
@kbamomma33 - Sorry that YH is going to be gone most of the month. We'll be here to keep you company!
@sed8611 - I work nights all the time and it definitely makes TTC hard sometimes because we have to schedule awake time together...
@50Wife - That is definitely the best part of a new cycle! Peeing on things was exciting the first cycle, not so much anymore.

  • @pebbledam Hope you have a great day with your sister!

@kbamomma33 I know how you feel about the work travel. It really sucks. Sorry to hear your H will be away so much over the next month.

@50Wife Even though I hope you never have to use it, it's still great to have that piece of mind that your insurance actually covers people in their time of need.

@heatherdubrow Glad to hear you are getting started with your injections. Just wondering... how are you doing the FET cycle with your move? Are you just transferring all of your care before the move? Will you be done before you go?
  • Sorry I've been Mia. This testing cycle has me shaken up a bit and life has gotten I  the way. I promise I'm lurking and cheering.
@JJMNO1616 fingers crossed for O today and yay for being with us "for real"!
@pebbledam what play? I love theater I wish DH would be willing to go more often
@kbamomma33 sorry about DH work schedule. We had that in April and it just stinks. Hope you have a lot of girly Netflix and wine
@Starla @50wife I feel you on the Sunday blues. We have so many errands to run today and DH is a little crazy about making g sure he gets to the gym both weekend days so I go because I feel lazy if I don't but then I feel like we don't get a weekend day when Saturday is planned (we both worked yesterday) ughhhh. I miss laying in bed all day with coffee then takeout when we first started dating

    Month/Cycle: 11/11

    CD: 16

WAYDTGKU: pnv bbt cm preseed green tea hio eod testing cycle to hopefully start IUI in june

R/R: just the weekend usual. Fighting the lazy to be productive and that is no fun at all

CS/Q: nope. O was either yesterday or friday. I was up for 60 minutes at 3am Saturday morning because of a car alarm outside and I don't trust how high the Saturday temp was but timing is fine either way

GTKY: How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller?
5 foot 2 and usually ok with it except with pants as @starla said. And I don't fit into petite sizes because I'm athletic build and petite is too tight on my thighs and shoulders so I always add the cost of hemming to any new clothes I buy. DH is 6 foot 5 so I do like feeling extra small around him

7/17: second IUI, 2.5 letrozole, OPK, IUI: 1 follie, BFN (count 9.5 million swimming- dont know percentage)
    8/17: third IUI, 5.0 letrozole,

  • @JJMNO1616 I'm doing all of the prep before we move. I'll fly back a few days after the move for the actual transfer. Then after that I will have to be monitored elsewhere.

@pebbledam Have a great time with your sister!
@kbamomma33 I'm sorry you'll be on your own this month so much.
@sed8611 You may want to edit your siggy!
@50Wife I wish I had your insurance! I don't even get diagnostics covered. It sucks. On MH's employer's plan and the people who chose the plan all are older and already have kids so they just don't care.
@heatherdubrow That's great you get to move forward so soon! All the fx for you.

WAYDTGKU: all the charting and RRLT this cycle and then IUI + Clomid next cycle if my dumb body ever O's and this cycle actually actually gets going.
R/R: Nothing much to report just been working out a lot and enjoying the weather.

GTKY: How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller? Congrats to me--I win the shortest award! I'm 5' and half an inch and I feel you on the pants, @starla. So annoying. I do a lot of rolling the bottoms, and have also cut some when that was more in style and sometimes I splurge and get them hemmed professionally. On my license the DMV rounded up to 5'1" out of pity, but I know the truth. @50Wife I am also still shorter than MH even with the tallest heals. He is average height 5' 10" but he looks super tall next to me, which makes him feel good. I once dated a guy over 6 feet and it was just weird --we looked like a circus act. Never again.
I don't even know how anymore! I've been off the bump so long. I don't even know what it looks like!

ETA: Finally found it! I had forgotten it was there since I can't see them on mobile!

R/R: My temp dropped even more today but -OPK. I'm so confused. 2 positive OPKs last week but still no spike. This is so freaking frustrating.

    CS/Q: I guess see above

GTKY: How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller? I'm 5'4. I always liked my height until I started putting on weight. Now I wish I was taller so it would even out  :D

  • @JJMNO1616, FX for that -2 timing!

@pebbledam, have fun at the play! And FX that all goes smoothly with HIO!

@kbamomma33, I hope you enjoy the gorgeous weather. I'm hoping to get outside for a bit later on if I can get enough housework done first.

@50Wife, yes, the window in between AF and needing to do OPKs is the sweetest time of the month for sure. And yay for good insurance! Hopefully you won't need the IVF coverage but it has to be comforting to know it's available.

WAYDTGKU: PNV, CM, BBT, OPKs, CoQ10 when I remember, green tea, Preseed

R/R: Had a really fun day with DH yesterday on his one day off this week! We went to the library for Free Comic Book Day celebrations and then out with a friend to see Guardians of the Galaxy. I can't wait till his OT is over and we get two day weekends again, but at least we made the most of the day we had.

CS/Q: This is a big "UGH" right now. I thought I'd O this weekend but I haven't turned an OPK yet, which is just as well because our attempt to BD last night did not end well. DH's stress/fatigue levels combined with FW pressure continue to be Bad News. I'm trying to emotionally prepare myself for the possibility of a TWW with no timing whatsoever to pin my hopes on. But we'll see. At least we have a little more time to try.

GTKY: I'm 5'7" and fine with it. I do have trouble finding pants that fit correctly since I'm a little short for Talls and a little tall for regular, but I like being a little bit on the tall side and being able to reach shelves that other people can't. This does remind me of a time I was working as a library shelver in high school and a patron asked me to get a book for her "since you're so freakishly tall." One of the few times I felt self-conscious about my height!
  • @JJMNO1616 fx for O today and yay for the chance to HIO again!
@50Wife I love the beginning too, no pressure :) and that's amazing about your insurance, even though I hope you never benefit from that!
    @pebbledam yay for flashing smiley!
@Augusta108 I feel you, DH frequently complains about feeling "used" during my fertile window, and that leads to some unsuccessful attempts... I know I need to take the initiative during other parts of my cycle, but it's hard to not get burnt out!

R/R: pretty sure I O'd yesterday, my temp spiked this morning!  but I'll hang out here until I get crosshairs :)

CS/Q: nope, just kinda excited to have O'd so early, I don't usually until CD21-24ish.  I feel so "normal"...

GTKY: How tall are you? Do you wish you were shorter or taller? I'm 5' 3", and I wouldn't mind being an inch or two taller so I could wear regular pants instead of petites or alterations.  But other than that I'm pretty happy.

@Cricket648 I don't know what type of work clothes you wear, but Ann Taylor has a decent petite section with really good not too expensive business suits that have helped me to look less childlike whilst being professional :D
  • @Cricket648 Aw, baby birds! I'm laughing at your BSC comment.  :) Nothing wrong with listening to that BSC it if it's got nice things to say.  ;)

@Mythril I'm so sorry that you've been feeling like crap and having such a rough time lately. All of that sounds horrible.
I hope that your ultrasound goes well tomorrow!  <3
  • @Augusta108 - The FW pressure is real. And MH is picking up OT starting this week, too. We weren't able to get any BD-ing in during FW last cycle and it was frustrating, to say the least.
@Cricket648 - We saw "Leading Ladies" and it was good!
@emcake - I love how confident you feel about your height!
