R/R: Pleased with how this cycle is panning out. Much better than last time
CSQ: I know "they" say you ovulate 12-48 hours after a + OPK, but what if you have multiple + OPKs? Do you just HIO until you get a negative? Unfortunately we can't HIO that much and I want to do it wisely
@RVAMom315, I've read that only the first positive OPK really matters, but I've also read that it's smart to keep HIOing until O is confirmed...so I try to get at least every other day until I'm sure I have a temp shift.

CS/Q: Man AF was so light and short this month. No real question, just strange. Also my temp dropped pretty low pretty fast (it stayed at almost post ovulation levels for the first 10 days or so of last cycle, so hopefully that’s a good sign).
GTKY: See’s Candy Scotch Mallows or Fran’s Candy Salted Caramels (for fancy candies); heath bars or peanut m&ms otherwise
@cdnrunning I think there is a watery option that FF notes is fertile.

R/R: H made the planting beds in my green house and a nice stone walkway, we also trimmed the trees for more air flow hopefully my plants do better then last year.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: What is your favorite candy? Gummy worms, skittles, mini eggs. (all the chocolate really)
Rave: YAY for all of our friends and family who helped yesterday and are already back today to help DH with our new deck!!
CS/Q: I have always been very blessed with light/mild periods, never more than 4-5 days with 1 or 2 that I would consider "medium flow." However, my last 3 periods have been VERY light and only about 3 days. Is that anything I should be concerned about?
GTKY: What is your favorite candy?
I am a lover of all candy; I go in waves of wanting all the chocolate to wanting all the sweet and sour stuff I can get my hands on. I love Ghirardelli Chocolate with caramel and Sweet Tarts.
@cdnrunning I was always told that if you experience 2 types of CM (or something in between), you record the more fertile of the 2. In your case, you would put EWCM. If later on you experience 100% EWCM, you can always leave yourself a note.
R/R: working outside today with DH trying to get some stuff done, I got a lot done inside yesterday although not as much as I would have liked. Just enjoying feeling ok lately....
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite candy? Almost anything chocolate hershey's with almonds, Twix, snickers, those little crunchy Cadbury eggs
R/R: Positive OPK yesterday, but big temp drop today, whyyyyy! At least it's Sunday, and although I am doing 5 loads of laundry today, I got to the laundry room early enough that none of the machines were occupied and I could take my pick and get all 5 done at once, ha.
CS/Q: Since my temp dropped after the positive OPK I'm guessing I didn't o, despite my positive OPK, boo. So my question is can you have more than one LH surge in a cycle, or do I write this one off as anovulatory?
GTKY: What is your favorite candy? Hm, difficult. I'm with @RVAmom315 on snickers (and snickers ice cream bars!), but also caramel filled chocolate, super salty licorice, and rice crispy treats.
WAYDTGKU: Right now, I am trying to put some focus on my health. I think losing a few pounds could really help me. Also, PNV and I am new to BBT and OPKs so getting a start on those.
R/R: DH is going out of town for a week. Sigh.
CS/Q: So last night DD woke me up about a hundred times. Does that affect BBT?
@RVAmom315 Do you get your multiple +OPKs in a row, or with - ones in between? If the former, I guess it could all be the same surge, and presumably you'd ovulate no later than 48 hours after the first +. This my first cycle using OPKs and I have many questions myself, so I'm curious what all the wise ladies have to say about your question.
@hoosiermama1 there have been a few discussions on period length and heaviness. I think I remember @lulu1180 speaking with her doctor? (Sorry if that is not right!). And if I remember correctly doctors were more concerned with length as opposed to heaviness. But others may remember more. @augusta108 I vote for lazy Sunday! @KatieEl good luck getting through the baby shower. Hope the mimosas are abundant @RVAmom515 second what the others said. @WillRunForWine21 You remember right! @hoosiermama1 I spoke to my m/w about my period length and heaviness because I generally get no more than 3 days of actual flow and I never get more than what I consider a medium flow and recently it's been more like 2 days. Her concern was total days bleeding, which includes spotting and as long as you're around 4-5 days of total bleeding, it doesn't seem to be much of a concern.

@camomile-2, I usually get a temp drop the day after my first positive OPK and that ends up being the day I ovulate. My temps go up after that. An "ovulation dip" isn't an uncommon pattern, so don't despair just yet!
Thanks ladies! Appreciate the input - I usually only get one positive per cycle (usually a day after I first see EWCM) (emphasis on the word usually) I haven't temped the last few cycles (stresses me out) but I think next cycle I'm going to start up again
@RVAmom315 I'm not sure if you're not temping but if you are, then I do it until I get crosshairs on FF. I've had 3 days of +OPK then O'd on the 4th day (which was -)
@cdnrunning I've read that you mark the most fertile cm that you have, so it'd be ewcm

@RVAmom515 It depends on your temp, CM and other signs, but you'll probably O around the time of your last +OPK or up to 48 hours after. @cdnrunning Categorize the most fertile CM. I would put EWCM and add a note. If it's watery all day with a little EWCM, just mark watery, which is still fertile CM. @Augusta108 Enjoy your lazy Sunday! @Stargazer1lily Does air flow help plants grow better? I guess I never thought of that, but it makes sense. That's awesome that your DH did that for you. Also, it's mini egg season so enjoy! @hoosiermama1 Yay for new deck! Sorry I don't have advice about periods.. I don't know too much about it. You could bring it up with your doctor if you're concerned. @kaitlink33 It's a perfect day here to work on the garden, too. I think we'll go some next weekend and enjoy the sunshine today. @camomile-2 Yeah you can have more than 1 LH surge. I've had a false LH surge with +OPKs before. Only a temp shift will confirm that O happened. You could also be having a fallback rise (temp dip then goes back up). @jlemons-2 Yes waking up throughout the night will probably affect your temps. Record it as "sleep deprived." @KatieEl I'm all for alcohol at baby showers! @WillRunForWine21 OMG Chipotle catering!? Whaaaat? No wonder you're excited! I'm excited just thinking about it. She's really chatty though so I kind of was ready for her to go today. I made us a nice breakfast then she took off. DH and I then went for a 4 mile run and a little walk after. It was so nice! We're going to BBQ some dinner in a bit. Also I think my CM is finally slowly shifting toward having more water content. I hope I O really soon! For now, enjoying my white wine on the front porch.

I will have 1-2 squares of dark chocolate or creamy milk chocolate with hazelnuts occasionally.

@starla@shortstack930@purplg8r@LoveInDC@KatieEl - thanks for the feedback. I'll add a few notes to FF so I can remember what happened when I look back a few months from now @hoosiermama1 - when do you think you'll get it all done? Isn't it the best when friends/family come to help!! @starla - it sounds like you had a really nice weekend. Annnnd nothing better than capping it off with a great glass of wine! @shortstack930 hope you and your husband had a nice early birthday celebration. Mexican is my favorite! @WillRunForWine21 - your event sounds epic - chipotle catering??? Score!!! @jlemons-2 - if I wake up just a handful of times, it doesn't seem to affect my temp. However, everyone's body has a different threshold and it can impact it usually by having higher temps
@cdnrunning they got all the old boards and railing pulled up, replaced and the new spindles started this weekend. We're thinking another couple of 2 day weekends and it should be done! DH (and most of the guys who came to help) are taking their annual golf trip over Memorial Day weekend, so I had STRICT rules that the deck HAD to be done and the pool opened before they leave so all the girls could relax at our house that weekend!
@WillRunForWine21 it was actually really hot today so we pushed it back to next weekend so went to see Power Rangers and had dinner at Outback instead.
@shortstack930 *TW** I feel ya. My best friend has her scheduled c-section for 2 weeks from tomorrow and I'm so happy for her but it's so so hard. *end TW*
@starla sounds like you had a great time with your friend!!

FET Feb 2022: BFP on 2/15! EDD 10/29/22
@cdnrunning Categorize the most fertile CM. I would put EWCM and add a note. If it's watery all day with a little EWCM, just mark watery, which is still fertile CM.
@Augusta108 Enjoy your lazy Sunday!
Record it as "sleep deprived."
@KatieEl I'm all for alcohol at baby showers!
@WillRunForWine21 OMG Chipotle catering!? Whaaaat? No wonder you're excited! I'm excited just thinking about it. LOL Enjoy!
@purplg8r The flower and gardens show sounds lovely.
@shortstack930 FX for good timing! Mexican, chocolate cake, and sex sounds like a pretty good Sunday to me.
Month/Cycle: 8/5 (2/1 AL)
CD: 25
WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPKs, temping, checking CM and CP, some green tea, pounding
R/R: Rave: My friend from undergrad came to visit yesterday and stayed the night. We got pedicures and went wine tasting, out for dinner, and watched a movie at home. It was really nice!
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite candy?
If it's sugary candy then fuzzy peaches hands down. I'm not a big sugary person.. I like desserts and all kinds of chocolate though. My favorite chocolate bars are Twix and Snickers. I also like peanut butter cups occasionally and Mars bar. Oooh and butterfinger. I should say that I hardly ever eat any of this stuff. I will have 1-2 squares of dark chocolate or creamy milk chocolate with hazelnuts occasionally.

@hoosiermama1 - when do you think you'll get it all done? Isn't it the best when friends/family come to help!!
@starla - it sounds like you had a really nice weekend. Annnnd nothing better than capping it off with a great glass of wine!
@shortstack930 hope you and your husband had a nice early birthday celebration. Mexican is my favorite!
@WillRunForWine21 - your event sounds epic - chipotle catering??? Score!!!
@jlemons-2 - if I wake up just a handful of times, it doesn't seem to affect my temp. However, everyone's body has a different threshold and it can impact it usually by having higher temps
