What are your cravings & aversions?

Sorry if this has already been done before...but it could get pretty interesting. What's everyone craving? Like what MUST you have daily? And what foods are you just totally not into anymore? Does it just not sound appealing? Does it make you nauseous? 

1. Craving/Daily Must-Have?
Right now, all I want is meat and churros. Not necessarily together. And I'm talking RED meat. Beef. Moooo. And not just some. I want AYCE Korean BBQ like every day. And I wake up in the mornings wanting a churro. So my morning toast is grilled up with a little bit of butter and a little bit of cinnamon/sugar.

2. Food Aversions?
Anything rich. I was invited to a cake tasting private party at a local well-known bakery and could not eat their famous butter cream frosting. I had a CA roll that had a little too much mayo...couldn't swallow. I even tried the "Grey Stuff" at the new Disneyland Beauty and the Beast restaurant. I had a few bites and that's all I could handle. I'm sure Lumiere is right that it's delicious, but I just can't right now. 
Also, poultry. Nope. I can't handle chicken or turkey. I just can't eat it.

    Bread & butter pickles 

    I microwave a baked potato every night with butter salt pepper and cheese

    I have way more aversions although no morning sickness. To be honest hardly anything sounds good to me so that's why I'm eating so many pickles and potatoes. I'm never disappointed by pickles and potatoes.

    1. Craving/Daily Must-Have?
    Work days I MUST have a cinnamon raisin bagel, oj, and coffee. Any change from that and I get crabby. But the weekends I don't feel that compulsion.

    And I always want potatoes. But that's a life long craving :p

    2. Food Aversions?
    Nothing anymore. I went through several weeks where the mere thought of cooked broccoli made me gag. And up until recently I just could not cook chicken. I could eat it, but not prepare it.

    English fish and chips. Salt and vinegar everything are cravings. Must haves: bread and cheese.

    Pretty much everything. Especially chicken.

    Anything plain and salted. Plain chips, plain savoury biscuits, plain rice crackers, fries etc. I was never into the plain flavours before I got pregnant. Also sour sweets.

    2. Food Aversions?
    Not so bad now but originally all meat. Slowly was able to reintroduce chicken, stuff in a sauce (like spag bol), sausages and burgers. Still way off beef and lamb and would prefer to avoid pork. And coffee. That makes me vomit. 

    I think this has been the weirdest thing about being pregnant!!!

    We have a lot of similar things going on. I was really into cinnamon raisin bagels for a while. OJ is a must every morning--probably triple the amount I would drink when not pregnant. Yes x1000 to potatoes, and I also have no issue eating chicken  as long as it's made for me. 

    Other cravings: Starbucks passion tea lemonade every work day, fruits, popcorn, leafy green salads. And really, I could drink lemonade any time of the day. 

    My big aversion is hot coffee. Dunkin iced has been ok on occasion, but I have no interest in any type of hot coffee. And I bought a crock pot in December only to find I've been disgusted by the thought of using it for anything since about week 5. Thinking about stews, chili, etc. - yuck.

    Currently mango! I can't get enough of it.

    Meat but only when it's whole or in pieces? I've been fine with burgers and cheesesteaks and when I can't really "see" it but a piece of steak on a plate or the chicken in chicken and broccoli = immediate gagging. It's so weird.

    I've had a chocolate milkshake every day this week i have to have it to feel my day is complete haha

    Bananas and yogurt are the only things I can not eat. We eat a lot of chicken and I have no desire so I basically force myself when I make it

    And I bought a crock pot in December only to find I've been disgusted by the thought of using it for anything since about week 5. Thinking about stews, chili, etc. - yuck.
    Oh man, if you're having any trouble with strong smells, I would avoid the crock pot anyway. We love our crock pot (seriously... we have 3 different sizes), but H made a corned beef in Jan and some pulled pork a couple weeks ago and I almost killed him. Both tasted great, but the all day cooking smells.. blech. The pulled pork he at least did while I was at work so it wasn't as bad.

    I have been VERY lucky with smells not being too bad, but I also haven't exposed myself to Crockpot-level aromas, nor do I want to try at the moment.
  • @divinemsm620 and @jena333 YES x100000 to OJ and potatos! I picked up a baked potato with cheese and broccoli from Wendy's and practically devoured it... DH thought I was nuts, I didn't ever eat baked potatos pre-pregnancy

    I've been all about fresh fruit - mango, grapefruit, blackberries, and grapes.  Oddly enough, all fruits that were never my "go-to" pre-pregnancy.  Also canolis and ravioli... something about ricotta cheese I suppose!  And I've been having a lot of guacamole  :p

    2. Food Aversions?
    Seems to change every day.  It's honestly getting pretty frustrating, since I'll go food shopping and get things I'm craving at the time... and then it comes time to make/eat the stuff and it completely turns my stomach.  Ugh!
  • I really love mashed potatoes right now. Also I have had a ginormous sweet tooth. Loving pasta with red sauce and pizza. Anything laden with carbs, basically. 

    The only aversions I have is toward low quality meat. Specifically chicken. I don't like chicken unless it is completely without any chewy fatty bits or sinewy bits.

    my aversions change constantly. Very frustrating. Every meal DH asks me "what do you think you could eat?"

  • We made general tsos chicken for dinner but I'm going to make some egg salad for second dinner/lunch tomorrow.

    Grapefruit. We keep buying those big bags of them from Costco and I go through them in a few days! Same thing in my last pregnancy, I ate so much citrus fruit I got boils on my gums :P 

    2. Food Aversions?
    Meat. Never been much of a carnivore, but just thinking about it while pregnant (all of it but especially raw meat, and especially especially chicken) makes me gag. Same thing with tomatoes. 
  • My biggest craving is oranges or rice and beans from my local Mexican restaurant. 

    And my biggest aversion: is all other food except what I named above 
  • Cravings are minimal but I'm into super fresh veggies and fruit. Crisp celery is always a winner. 

    Aversions: basically everything.  Eggs, meat (except good quality steak) spice  (or anything with flavour really) onions really set me off, tomato sauce, mayo, ketchup ...it just goes on and on.

    Meat, milk
    Unfortunately sometimes everything sounds disgusting to me

    I'm weird. My primary aversion is pickles. Everyone keeps offering them to me, because pregnant women love pickles. They make me gag (except on Chick-fil-A sandwiches for some reason). I do like potatoes lately, but really my cravings change every day. I never know what I'll want to eat. It's super annoying.

  • @bridge-and-wall I never liked pickles, and now that I'm pregnant the smell of them turns my stomach (I guess that's my UO of the day). If DH eats a burger with pickles on it I make him brush his teeth before he kisses me. 

    Cravings: I still like most of the foods that I liked pre-pregnancy, thank gods. The only weird thing is that I now really like drinking milk, which is something that I used to HATE. 

    Aversions: mainly the smell of hot coffee and cooking eggs. I can eat eggs when they're already cooked though, and I can drink iced coffee, so it's not too bad. There are some other smells that get to me, like seafood, but I'm a vegetarian so I wasn't eating it before anyways.

    Popcorn - the extra butter kind. I pop up a bag everyday when I get home from work. And anything junk food. All I wanted the other night was nachos and they were delicious!

    2. Food Aversions?
    Chipotle - I can't stand the thought of it! I craved it everyday with my last pregnancy and now, even thinking about it makes me want to gag.

  • 1.  I want sushi daily, but I have it weekly.  Sooo good.  No major cravings this time, but with DS it was homemade beef jerky and spaghettios.  I don't know where the spaghettios came from, I hadn't had them in years before that.  And they really didn't taste good when I tried them again after I gave birth!
    2.  Anything with really strong spice smells, and sugar.  Which makes me sad, bc I love sugar.  I had ice cream for the first time in weeks last night, and it was delicious, but I was over it by the time I was done.  :(

  • Cravings: Nothing that I must have regularly, but pizza and cheesebread sticks are things I can eat all day everyday. I'm sure if I suggest either one more time DH is going to lose it. 

    Food Aversion: Mexican and sugar. Both makes we want to cry because I love both. The sugar aversion is getting better, but I want nothing more than some Mexican food. Then I smell it and I am running for the hills.  
  • @eeyorefan215 I pop a bag of popcorn everyday after work too. So yummy!

    Cravings: changes weekly but right now it's popcorn and apples.

    Aversion: Hot Cheetos. I love love love hot cheetos but since I've been pregnant the thought of them makes me gag. Like writing it out made me gag. :confounded:

  • I think I need to try some pickles after all y'alls raves!!

    Cravings:
    Carbs on carbs on carbs. And Apple Jacks cereal!

    Aversions:
    What is it with meat and pregnancy?! I swear dinner is such a struggle. I can barely choke down anything - especially chicken and pork. Steak is sometimes doable. DH is getting sooo frustrated but I literally can't predict what I'm going to like each day.
