I call MUD. But for the sake of saying it, I think its against TOS or something to post asking this. Im sure a bump mod will come over soon enough and close the post, but just an FYI.
I'm just confused as to how I'm even supposed to guess... I can't see between the baby's legs, and I thought that was the only way to distinguish? Do boys have bigger heads? Girls are more rounded?
I'm so sorry you feel this way, but unfortunately, to echo what @HollyGolightly09 said... how exactly are we supposed to be able to guess the sex of your baby?
This is literally the first thing OP has ever posted. I would suggest introducing yourself and joining in on our board. We are a supportive community. Just don't like MUD and crazy questions we can't possibly be expected to answer.
@vrenea05 Just a heads up, if you haven't already figured it out. These kinds of posts are not very welcome, really anywhere, on TB. The vast majority of us are not ultrasound technicians and can't even make an educated guess on sex of baby based on a fuzzy ultrasound shot. Hence, the responses you're getting on this thread. Nonetheless, congrats on your pregnancy!
The women on the local boards I'm in always post asking for strangers to give their best sex guesses on early ultrasounds. I had not idea this was an actual thing.
This is how I learned about the nub theory and the skull theory. The skull theory seems bogus but I asked the doctor yesterday about the nub theory and he said that it's about 70% accurate. It's crazy to me, I've never heard of it before.
That being said, It's fun to ask a doctor or technician for their best guess, but I can read an ultrasound with about the same level of success as a dog reading an ultrasound. Ask your doctor (or close friends and family) and realize that even a guess they give you won't be 100% accurate.
@bridge-and-wall I'm genuinely curious because I feel stupid..other than basic things I feel like a total moron when it comes using this app. How do you know if it's someone's first time post I've seen a few people say that but how do you know hahha. For example this is all I can see when I click my name and picture. I assume this is my profile? Where it says not much happening at the bottom would that be where my board activity would be?

But maybe you should just wait until a professional can tell you... or better yet, until the baby is born.
I'm sure this is just a drive-by though....
