Off-topic Beauty and the Beast

I just saw the new movie and cried like a baby the whole time. I swear, all of my emotions come out of my tear ducts these days.

Anyone else seeing the movie this weekend?

    Got my tix for tomorrow!

  • So jealous! I am dying to see it. Thinking of taking my 3.5 yo DD. So would have to go during the week.

    Do you think it will be too scary for her? Note: two of her favorite movies are Hocus Pocus and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

  • @cmar1006 my friend took her 4-year-old tonight and she loved it. The Beast roars, but that's the scariest thing.

    Yes! Going with my mom on Sunday. I can't wait! DH surprised me with the cartoon DVD a few weeks ago and DD loves it, but I definitely want to see it first and get to actually enjoy it before possibly taking her, haha.

    I want to see this soooooooooo bad but I'm not sure when DH will be able to watch DS so I can go by myself. DH doesn't want to go and we've never left DS with anyone.. ever... I'm sort of glad I'm not going right away because the teenagers in town always always ruin movies. They're loud and obnoxious and totally disrespectful, DH and I have left two movies because of the teenagers in town. Which is strange for me to say because I feel like I should still be a teenager... but I'm 22... I forget sometimes...

    anywho.... sorry to ramble lol idk when I'll be able to go see it :(

    Saw it with my mom today and loved it! The only thing that bothered me... why are there no rails in that entire castle?? Like in Star Wars where there are walkways and platforms 1,000,000 feet high with no railings of any sort. I always think, why does that even exist?!?

    @DPandMB

    i mean if you look at it from a historical point of view with hindsight being 20/20...for longevity of life sure she should've picked gaston, but Gaston's character is kind of bigoted - doesnt understand why she reads, believes a wife's role should be raising kids and in the kitchen etc...so she probably wouldnt have been happy. So there's the question, go with longevity of life or happiness?

    eta: happiness and/or love

    @labby18 I tried to find a "that's deep" gif, but I just got dirty ones of girls and bananas so I'll just let that be.
