Good choice of topic! I prefer the Fall back because you feel like you get more sleep. The spring forward is just mean in my opinion. I'm excited for warm weather and greenness. If I were still living in Texas, the bluebonnets would be coming out soon and I love the bluebonnets!

Daylight savings is the devil. It will take me a week to recover from the spring switch. I wish we could just stay on DST year-round.
I dont really look forward to spring because of my allergies, but the change of seasons always makes me feel hopeful. I think it's how humans always felt when the winter starts to wane and days get longer, because things come back from hibernation and they know they won't starve to death. Such a lovely thought, huh?

I like fall back for the extra sleep, obviously. Spring forward I love for the extra daylight after work! When it's dark after work I just want to go home and put on sweat pants and not do a damn thing.
I am with you @RVAmom315 on liking it staying lighter outside for longer. I don't like the switch when it initially occurs, but I like Spring Forward much better. Fall Back is depressing because I usually get off work between 5:30-6:30pm, and I hate when it is dark while leaving.
I like getting an extra hour of sleep, but I prefer spring forward because we get more light in the evenings. Driving home from work at 5p in pitch blackness is not fun.

I agree with pretty much everyone. I prefer spring forward for the light, but getting an extra hour is always nice!
Also--I just started panicking about temping! Do I temp at the same time tomorrow (5:45) or do I need to do it at 4:45...?
ETA: Was talking to DH about this, and realized my math is off and I should've said 6:45... (Also, this was answered below. I just wanted to edit to acknowledge my wrong-ness.)
As much as I love getting that extra hour of sleep, I'm pretty psyched for the sun to come back.
I can't wait for spring! I love warm weather, I prefer my warm weather clothes (I hate wearing socks and shoes but sandals I can tolerate). I'm like a totally different person once the temperature goes above 55. It also means the school year is, mercifully, almost over and I can start planning for summer camp. And it means DH will be home soon!

I hate the time change. I wish it would just go away. I will say that as a night shift worker, it feels a little like getting off work an hour early the first week after the spring forward.

I agree with @morado23. I dislike the time change and wish my state didn't do it... sadly it does. @MJDsquared I read on FF that when the time changes to just temp at your usual time. So if you usually temp at 5:45 am, just temp at 5:45 am tomorrow.
I don't see the point to it anymore. I generally don't mind the fall back, I feel like sleep schedules are easier to adjust to. I dislike how dark it is in the morning when I am getting stuff in the car, from the spring forward. But I do enjoy the long evenings
Ugh! I hate to lose an hour of sleep, but I do have to agree that the extra daylight is very nice. I'm really looking forward to everything starting to bloom!
I think just for tonight with it being the weekend I am going to temp an hour later tomorrow morning. Losing an hour tonight and waking up at 6:30am to temp just don't sound enjoyable.
Since I work nights on the weekends I'm going to say I like the spring ahead because tonight I work one hour less! Also the longer daylight is wonderful. When the fall back happens it is like working the longest night ever!!

I loooove spring forward because it means the end of winter is near and the days are longer. I am a summer baby through and through and long summer nights are my absolutely favorite. It's worth losing an hour of sleep for me, hands down.
I love spring forward. The first few mornings are tough but the lighter evenings and warm weather coming are worth it.

I prefer fall back for sure. I like to pretend I still get an extra hour of sleep even though my little guys don't understand DST lol. And while I love more sun, it makes it harder for me to get said littles down at a decent hour for bed. Although, I am looking forward to the warmer weather spring brings! Getting outside for walks is my favorite part of spring!
