@amandarene112 I'm sorry about your first pregnancy ending in loss. Hugs I don't know how we managed but I got KU eight days after we got married, a month before I even turned 21 lol!
edited to add I can't believe people actually let comments like that come out of their mouth. For real?!
I'm not married, but me and this guy have seriously been through so much together and there's no one else I could imagine going through all of this with. So, I'll break the trend a bit and just post a couple pictures that I adore. This first one is the first picture we ever took together. (After being together 1.5 years). The next was taken somewhere around 2 Halloween's ago. Just fun and goofy and my poor mechanic is always hurting himself and had been 'bitten' by a car that day at work. Last is just a more recent one where he was paying no attention at all. Which is how most of our pictures come out. I'm sure we will hear wedding bells one day, but I'm not too worried about that at the moment. Almost 4 years down now!
@sugargirl1019 am I remembering correctly that you made your veil? or was that someone else? either way, it's GORGEOUS
Yup, I designed my veil Picked the color of tulle, the fullness, the length, the comb that went into my hair, the type of lace, and where the lace went! I had a professional cut and sew the lace into place for me I LOVE MY VEIL, IT'S MY BABY. haha. I always wanted a cathedral length veil and I wasn't paying over 1,000 to get it! I only paid 300 for mine, and it's exactly perfect for me

@MadisonInspires aw! Cute!! Also, all of my DH's jeans look like the first pic too ha! He was a mechanic when we started dating. Now he welds at a coal mine. I can't keep any of his clothes clean ever!
@daniellelynette Thank you! And ugh, such a struggle. He has one pair that has a quarter of one of the front pant legs missing because battery acid eroded them. Not to mention how tools always find their way into my kitchen and very late nights in the garage. But, I wouldn't trade it for the world. A free mechanic is always nice.

I LOVE looking at all of these beautiful wedding pictures! @lap018 I missed yours
My hubs and I are about to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary (3/22/14) and 6 years of being together (3/11/11). Love him. We had a medium size wedding of about 130 guests outside of Chicago. It was 40 degrees, misting, with snow still on the ground but it was the PERFECT day! Lots of food, drinks, and music. People still say they have to "live up" to our wedding!
We had a very small wedding. Probably about 40 people total. I never wanted an outdoor wedding, but we decided to get married at this beautiful restaurant right on the lake. It was the perfect October day! 10/06/12
My mom is a seamstress and made my dress and veil. It was everything I want and more!
@sableeg I added mine back for a little bit just for you! your pics are stunning and you look absolutlet gorgeous! As do ALL of you ladies!! I know we are gunna have some beautiful babies y'all!
I can't believe how many Oct 2010 brides we have! I'm still tight with a group of my 10/10ers from the Knot. There are about 20 of us in our group. We got married 10/7/10.
Married 7/12/13 in a very traditional 125 person wedding. My family Episcopal church for the ceremony, and then the country club where I ran a summer camp for the reception. It was amazing! Loved every minute.
My husband and I got married July 2015. We had over 400 guests. Both of our parents come from large families so about 33% or more was family. We got married at my parents place in front of the barn with the reception in the meadow and it was beautiful and 85.
I love this thread and I love looking at all of the beautiful brides, dresses, and weddings! So beautiful!
We eloped in May 2009 and had a big party/reception in August. It was exactly what we wanted, no stress, no fuss. We did have a professional photographer and pretty wedding cake, so I have something to share here.
ETA - mobile bumping, no image. ETA again - struggling with image. ETA again - figured it out.
@amandarene112 I too so very badly wanted an outdoor wedding, but ended up going with a church. I still think about it and regret giving in not going with what I wanted.
We got married in June 2014 after 5 years of dating. I still find myself wishing I would have done some things differently, but then I remember we paid for the entire wedding ourselves and I did all the planning/decor on my own in 6 months... I feel that's pretty dang impressive!
We got married on April 22, 2012 after meeting in Aug 2009. It was a phenomenal day, the best of my life. We were supposed to get married outside, but we had torrential downpours all day. I was sad the day before finding out about the rain, but on the day of it didn't matter to me at all. I was marrying the love of my life and I was so happy it didn't matter! This is a total US picture, him with a beer, me with wine. Love it!
I loved my dress. I loved everything about it, but especially that it had pockets!!
And the formal shot, we have this on canvas in our living room.
We got married 9/22/2007 - our 10 yr anniversary is 8 days after our due date this year We met 2 years before, online, and then 6 months later in person at the Detroit airport. I spent 10 days with him and 2 days after I left, he FedEx'ed me an engagement ring! 4 months later he came to visit me in CA for 5 days. I packed up all my stuff and bought a one way ticket - after only seeing him in person for 15 days total! I was 19!
We got married in Detroit, at a church that my hubbys parents got married at, where hubbys grandfather was an organist at for years.
On our wedding day, we got married at a Catholic Church, had photos taken and then proceeded to go to Dave & Busters before the reception - we had a blast that day!
Oh gosh, we've been married for a while, and I'm still excited about posting wedding pictures! DH and I were married in June 2010, up in the mountains near Scranton, PA. We did a lot of our pics at a local state park, which meant a lot bc DH and I are such big outdoors people.
Let's see if I can spoiler box properly, this pics look huge. I love the first one, it was right after we walked in the reception and you can just see how happy and excited I was.
@mrsmgsee Thank you! I adored my dress, totally not what I imagined wearing but I knew for sure it was the one when I tried it on. I have it professionally cleaned and stored in case we have a girl who may love it (or part of it) as much as I did.
Surprisingly I wasn't too bothered by the mishap either @HollyGolightly09!
Gosh I love weddings! DH and I have been married a year and a half. We had about 120 people at our wedding and it was both the most amazing and stressful day of my life!
Totally copying @lap018 and keeping the pictures up for a short time. We got married June 2011, been together for almost 17 years (with a few break ups in there), started dating in middle school! It was a gorgeous day, not hot at all and very few hiccups. Ceremony was outside, reception inside at a golf course (2nd pic shows it in the background), and we had about 130 people come. Our friends still say it was the best wedding they've ever been too. The last 2 pics are some of my favs even though they were taken by friends (both were after the ceremony and we were both so much more relaxed!) and not the expensive ass photographers we hired.
ETA fifty million times trying to get the pics to go in a spoiler box, but I finally gave up and ended up with an empty spoiler box
The hubs and I had 2 weddings: we had a small, legal wedding on July 29, 2012 and a traditional 4-day wedding on December 25, 2013. I wanted to only include pics of me and the hubs, for privacy reasons, but I *had* to include the basket pic.
My husband and I will be married 4 years this May. We were married on my grandparents 68th wedding anniversary. Having them share their day with us is the best thing in the world. Every day I am glad I have this man in my life.
After going to the same pre-school, junior high and high school and probably crossing paths more often than not, we finally met on the day of our high school graduation. He says it was love at first sight. It wasn't until a year later that our paths crossed again when we were both home from University for the Summer. Fast forward 10 years and we now live 1,000 miles away from our hometown in Texas to have settled in the quaint little city of Duluth, Minnesota.
We dated for 10 years before tying the knot this past October in an elopement in the woods. We flew our parents in from Texas to be a part of the private ceremony and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We're just incredibly grateful for this journey!
We got married on December 30th, 2012! We were looking for New Year's Eve wedding, but that was a Monday and twice as expensive, so we kept the 30th, haha. It was a really beautiful wedding... we had it in Broomfield, CO (not far from Boulder) at a really cool hotel that was still decorated for Christmas! It snowed that night and the hotel had an awesome view of the mountains. All the flowers were white and cream and the wedding gown party all wore dark teal. It was so pretty!! I really wish I had other pictures on my phone, but I only have a couple because I'm trying to get everything off my phone so I can get another one! These are the ones the photographer tagged me in, and I cropped some! I have some great pics on my computer though.. get this, I've kept in touch with my second grade teacher all these years, and she came to my wedding!!! I actually tried on my wedding dress a couple months ago and ended up laughing.. hard!! Yeah, it was that funny...
@beccam1230 my cousin lived in Broomfield for a while! They moved to Beulah a little while ago. Also you look like Anna Kendrick in the second picture lol! Gorgeous pictures.
