This is stolen from Reddits "nature is metal". Us moms do so much awesome, hardcore epicness and this thread is for sharing our proud I"'m a mom" moments. Think things like... "got 1 hour of sleep and still completely rocked a full day at work" or "told DH point blank he was on LO duty while I cooked dinner and had a glass of wine" or "cleaned up, dealt with two blow outs, cooked dinner, did a load of laundry all with LO teething". Have fun with it and give yourself some credit for your awesomeness.

I think I have 1 - After throwing up for 3 hours, I got up with DD2 4 times in the night and I didn't kill DH the next morning when he asked if DD2 slept through the night.

Ironically DH redeemed himself right after I posted this. I threw up again all night last night. DH did every wake up with DD1 and DD2. I'm heartbroken because throwing up 4 days ago hurt my milk supply. Every day since I've been nursing, pumping, drinking tons of water, Gatorade, Mother's Milk Tea and Brewer's Yeast smoothies (which should count as hardcore epic!). Looks like I'm going have to do that for another week.

Doing all of this by myself while hubs is deployed...2 more months and maybe I'll be able to sleep in on a Saturday!

I am feeling like a badass because I have cooked dinner, from scratch, for the past 7 days. I have eaten the leftovers for lunch the following day, and followed my Paleo rules to a T. Already down 2 lbs and feeling like a million bucks! All while taking care of two rambunctious, mobile, and teething twins!

Dealt with a getting a sick DH packed and ready to fly out to work at 330am, dealt with a sick infant who was up every half hour, dealing with new meds that make me nauseous, and still rocked out the daycares spirit week theme for LO and work.

DH had to work days this week 5:30am until 6 at night. This leaves me responsible for drop off and pick up duty for daycare, which I walk to, as well as walking the dog, and getting DH, C, and I packed up and ready for the next day at night. 3 days in, 2 to go!

Both Baby J and I are running a fever and DH just came home because he's starting to feel sick too. Still managed to make breakfast, start dinner and doing laundry despite feeling like crap.

DH is going through some shhhh- death in the family (who he had been estranged from) followed by getting rear-ended.  I have been mommying my ass off for the past week and a half.  All cooking, all cleaning, most of baby work.  Feeling simultaneously like a rock star and totally drained. Hope we get back to our norm soon.

I vowed to not consume alcohol or chocolate during the month of March. Then DS got a cold and coupled it with an ear infection. DH then got a cold. Then me. House is still functioning at its normal level. Even got my carpets shampooed yesterday. 

Still haven't caved on wine or some chocolate.

Running a small business from home with a baby at home and somehow we're all still functional. Lol. Though I don't know how metal I can claim to be when I have both grandmas within 15 minutes who will take him at the drop of a hat...

@winnie1122 I could never work from home with DS. It's hard enough making sure there are clean clothes to wear.

DH came home last night with chills & aches. I was like superwoman and I'm not sure where it came from! Made supper, took care of S, got her to bed and set to work on house work and a list of things that need to be done before our weekend trip to Nebraska. Looked up and it was 10:30 - I can get a LOT done when it's just me awake in the house for 2 hours!
