R/R: I am still reeling from our friend's news last night.  The first thing I did when I got home was give DH a kiss and tell him I love him.  And he ruined it by asking why.  The pain she must be feeling is nearly unimaginable and when I think about it, I just want to burst out into tears.  I hope she knows we are all thinking about her and praying for her family and the healing they will be going through.

R/R: Rant - I came down with a head cold right after FW. It's my first month temping and I wanted to track diligently during FW and after O, but I couldn't breathe through my nose. I'm bummed, but feeling better today. Hopefully I can breathe well enough to take my temp tomorrow. Rave - It's snowing!

I probably wouldn't ever volunteer to switch lives with a famous person because I hate being the center of attention, but if I had to choose.... I'm going to go with Amanda Freitag (or any of the Chopped judges) because I would love to be a judge on that show!

 Testing: Thursday Pee Pact!  Guys, I’m so glad we have this Pee Pact.  I’ve come very close to POAS both yesterday and today because I’m so impatient.  And I know, I know none of you can come smack me upside the head if I do, but for whatever reason the pact is keeping me accountable to wait until a reasonable testing date.

Oh so many.  Not to get political, but I’d love to switch lives with Donald Trump just to see how his mind works. Along those lines, I’d also love to switch lives with George Washington, for the same reason.  I also wouldn’t mind trading lives with Amal, because then I could be married to George Clooney.

@lulu1180 I know, I told DH about it last night and he was shocked. I kept thinking what I'd do without him but I had to stop and just appreciate that I don't have to live her horror. I'm so incredibly sad for her. A nightmare come true.

R/R: Rant: I'm feeling like I'm out. My temp this morning dropped significantly. It's still .6 above cover but my spike from yesterday didn't hold and I'm just having normal AF symptoms. FF has her showing her stupid face on my birthday, which I actually prefer to later because that way I won't be in the throes of evil AF on a super long flight to Hawaii. Rave: I told DH all this and he was super sweet about it. His response to my cramps was "Maybe it's implantation cramps" which means he's been listening and that made me happy. We have a plan in place if AF shows: I'm allowed to be bummed, we'll get sushi for dinner, and I'll get myself one giant iced coffee. We have our home sperm test on its way to us and next cycle I may not chart, just HIO EOD after AF. If we go into a third cycle I'll go back to charting and will actually buy a BBT thermometer. 

CS/Q: None, just sad my 99.4 temp didn't sustain. Dropped down to 98.6.

I think she has a really hard life full of putting on a brave face but I'd like to know what goes into it. Plus, you know, she's a princess and I want to know what that's like. Just one day though, then back to my normal boring life.

R/R: It was a tough morning to be alone in a hotel room. And I'm spending my days here with a pregnant lady who is very nice and fun but just really excited about her pregnancy because she just told everyone at work. It's hard to be cool when I'm hitting the year mark. She said last night that they had hoped for a July due date (but got September) and said something about it not always going according to plan. Ha. Tell me about it.

lulu1180 I am right there with you. I could not stop thinking about that tragic news and the pain it must be causing her. I wish there was something we could really do as a Bump Community, but I am glad many of us are offering to donate or buy flowers.

Rant: I am in a huge disagreement with an employee I manage about his lack of ownership with a new institution-wide plan and it's frustrating me to no end. He says one thing to my face, and then something else to others. I am just so over it.

Uhh....that's a really hard one. There isn't one particular person I really like. But, I think it might really neat to switch lives with a member of royalty, just to see what it's like to be in that position. But I wouldn't want to do it for long because the idea of being the center of attention, constantly watched and critiqued does not sound like fun.

@Dragonfly87 My charts are typically the same but never past 98.9ish im really trying to chalk these higher temps up as fighting the bug. Which means I may not be able to use temps as a good indicator of pg, unless of course I get a huge temp dip.

Reaaaallly hoping it doesn't mean what I think it means...

After that Halftime show, I would switch with Lady Gaga for the day.  Not only did she dive off the roof of the stadium, but home girl danced her a** off! I wish I had the guts to perform like that, even just for the day!

So sorry work is so stressful. I get that. I feel like I'm the "gopher" at my desk job. Because my duties just don't end at the desk. I do everything there. From making sure the dancers are okay and have everything they need, to helping with costume work, and running errands. I just dont know how to say no. In addition to my photography business, it gets very stressful. Learn to say "no" with me!

@SoldiersMom Do you take anything for migraines while TTC? I get migraines a lot and would take excedrin but stopped once we started TTC just in case. Thankfully I don't really get them anymore, I don't know why because I used to get them at least once a week. I'm super grateful for it but not sure how to deal when I inevitably get another.

Yesterday's news in weighing on me as well. There's not much that can be said in a time like that. All you can do is pray for healing. I hope that she has a good support system at home. But that's also what make a community like this so wonderful. I've seen so many offer a shoulder of support or an ear to listen and that's just amazing.

@ag90 my OB gave me sumatriptan, but I was reluctant to take it as well. I know she said at my IUD removal appointment that it was fine to take if I really needed but I was still hesitant. I finally Googled it and found that it is ok to take through the first trimester.

@shortstack930 ooo Emma Watson is a good one! I felt the same way about a HIO break and we only did four times! Mine was more of an "I'm in pain and my body needs a break" issue and DHs was "I'm tired" haha

Testing: This AM. BFN. I know I was gonna test tomorrow, but since so many people are testing (and I know this sounds selfish, it is, I admit), if a few people got BFPs and I was here with another BFN, I would have lost my mind even worse than I did this AM.

R/R: Just waiting for AF to start on Saturday so I can get to the next cycle. I have my annual GYN appt next month when we will be on cycle 8 if we don't get pregnant next cycle, so I may see if she is willing to just do basic bloodwork at that point just because, you know, why not.

@wabash15 I tested out my trigger last medicated cycle and it helped with my POAS addiction, but I freaked myself out the other day when I tested because the line didn't really show up. But I know it's because the tests I got suck. (The opks never gave me a second line but I got a second with other brands at the same time)
