  • @loveindc Thanks friend! And we can share Taylor. I suspect many people secretly do. (Even my husband likes "Tell Me Why")

@purplg8r I don't know much about pomegranate juice and there are no studies on it. It could just be a weird period. Everyone has a weird period occasionally. I wouldn't worry.

@lulu1180 That is so frustrating! W2s are pretty important!

  • @lulu1180 Vacation was fabulous! Would love to plan another but I'm really hoping to be KU before December/January.

We're tax twins lol. I submitted our return Monday morning and then two hours later my husband received an email saying his W2 had an error. Now I have to file a stinking amendment.
  • First early morning buddies now tax twins @cdnrunning lol.  I've never had a W2 delayed like this and it's beyond frustrating!  DH is still waiting on information from his former employer before we can file anyways.  Hopefully it's on it's way like it was supposed to be.

UGH! Tax prep shouldn't be so hard! I understand people make mistakes but come on, with technology these days, mistakes shouldn't be so common.

  • @canonmom413 DH can't stand most recent country (too much pop for his liking) but I love it!  Also, feel free to post your FF chart in the CS thread and we can all take a look and tell you what we think!  Also, you can put in a fake high temp tomorrow and see if it give you CHs.

    CD: 22

    WAYDTGKU: pnv, temping, cm, levothyroxine

R/R: Rave: Another successful day at the gym! Now I'm having a good breakfast. I think I'm finally on the other side of my woe is me blues.

Rant: my Temps were unusually high at the beginning of my cycle, and erratic. Then they stabled and looked normal. Now they've dropped to wear they usually are. Last cycle I o'ed cd24, so who knows what will happen? But my opks which were creeping darker are now nearly blank.

CS/Q: No... nothing new. Just a weird chart.

GTKY: for me there is not one. I like songs, and not typically artists. I'll listen to anything from pop to musicals, country and rock. About the only thing I dislike across the board are heavy screaming metal and screamo.

    WAYDTGKU: temping, CM, PNV

R/R: Yesterday I spent the day helping a friend out with her 1.5 year old because friend woke up with a migraine and her meds make her loopy. I was supposed to help her out for a couple of hours but that turned into an all day thing. Whatever, not the point. When I was over there, my friend was feeding her kid Pepsi. Not just a sip or two but several. I get the feeling this wasn't just a one time thing. Now. I try not to be judgy especially since I don't have kids and such. However, I'm very much against giving a child that young soda.

CS/Q: I realized a little late that I was supposed to move over to TWW after O but never did :X But at the same time I'm not entirely sure that I did O. Even so, H and I started out this month using condoms and stopped using them about half way through so it might not matter anyway. I don't know.

GTKY: What is your favorite guilty pleasure music? I can't honestly say that I feel guilty about any of the music that I like.

While it totally sucks...at least you have good company here. We are all kind of a mess. @pinky917 we can even be 8/10 buddies (sadly).

    Hugs ladies.

  • @adirat

    @LuND Happy anniversary!!

@wabash15 That is actually a really interesting question. I tried to see if I could find anything explaining the reasoning behind it, but nothing so far.

  • @cdnrunning Coming back from vacation always feels like you need another vacation....hang in there!

@adirat: Welcome back! Glad to see the admins reversed their decision.

@LoveinDC: For some cycles, my CM either immediate dries up after O (so when the temp spikes) or it switches to creamy non-fertile. So if you had a spike, O was likely yesterday (you will have to wait to see what happens in the next few days) and non-fertile CM would be normal today.

purplg8r Sorry for the confusing body messages with the spotting. I would probably contact my doctor if this is really unusual. I wouldn't think that drinking juice would do this. I know Pom is supposed to have some fertility benefits, but its not a herb or medicine, so I wouldn't expect it to mess with your cycle this much. But you could stop drinking it and see what happens.

lulu1180 Ugh, that sucks on the W2 situation. It's something that happens every year, should companies be able to figure it out?!?!

canonmom413 FX you get those cross hairs soon! Do you think you O'd or are your not sure?

@BertieMeetsGertie hahaha, we were just googling Hanson the other day. They look so different now a days!

@Mythril Nice job on the gym commitment. DH and I managed a whole 25 minute workout last night...not great, but I guess it's something. I am trying to get back in the habit and to start DH with a fitness routine. He hasn't gone to the gym consistently since high school...so 25 minutes is a huge improvement.

@hartmich: Jealous of the working from home. It took everything in me to put on clothes today and dress like a professional...

@Redpuma119: yay for the equivalent of Fridays! Do you work in a particular field to have that schedule?

feeislove Are you consistently temping? If so, did you get at least 3 days of a sustained temp rise?

    @julesdp @pinky917 Sorry for CD 1 :(

Have a feeling this might be a weird cycle for me...

    Month/Cycle: 5/5  3 TTCAL

    CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: PNV, OPKs, HIO, temping, Green tea and pom juice

    R/R:
Rave: It's Wednesday, and while I have grad class tonight until 7:30pm, I am in a pretty decent mood. I was productive yesterday and hope to be the same today.

    Rant: Nothing at the moment.

CS/Q: So, I decided to use an OPK last night (CD6) and I got a near positive on it. I don't know if this is leading to an early LH surge, but I guess will continue to use them until O. Also, my CM last night was borderline watery and is more so this morning. But how can this be at CD6/CD7?!?!? Usually I have 3 days of positive OPKs before O...so depending on when it turns positive, I could O close to CD 10 or another CD 11 (typical is CD 13).

GTKY: What is your favorite guilty pleasure music?

Hmmm...there are a few Taylor Swift songs I like to listen to while working out. If I am feeling moody or down, I still have a mix CD (yes, one I made in HS) that's titled "Sad Songs for Sad Days" (a little dramatic). It's a mix of backstreet boys, Tony Rich Project (Nobody Knows It But Me) and TLC. All the songs are sappy love songs...haha.
  • @LuND Apparently those who elected to receive theirs by mail had them (the incorrect ones) mailed out on the 23rd.  So things were supposedly good to go a little early but something got screwed up somewhere.

ETA: I probably listened to this a thousand times after my first HS breakup...lol. I was so naive and dramatic. My dad was really into RB & Hip Hop, so I listened to a lot of "old" songs at the time. Music today just isn't the same.
  • @Dilynne It was @NYTino24 who mentioned it last week but I don't remember exactly what post.  If I remember correctly, the article she posted said that D3 is what was important and it is what I also picked up a few days after reading.

  • @dilynne My doctor recommended both DH and I take vitamin d. I read that D3 is the most bioavailable so I got a D3 with calcium. I think it was @businesswife who told me that it's safe to take upwards of the usual 1000 units -- some people regularly take 3000 or 4000 units daily.

  • @adirat @Dilynne. Yes, I have been taking 2000iu for a while now, and actually we were just talking in another group how important that is.  As I understand it, newborns are also often recommended to take additional vitamin D drops, since so many mothers/people are deficient, and that goes even moreso for winter babies!
