R/R: Oooooh the lovely sounds of a dog puking at 1:30 am. I cleaned it up and went back to bed, but I didn't sleep well - I was constantly worried about a repeat puke performance. Butttttt it's Friyay!!

CS/Q: I had to override my O date in FF this cycle.  It was trying to give me CH on CD17.  My temp didn't shift until that day, but I think that O really occurred on CD16. 

GTKY: I'd spend 50% of the day screwing with people who have messed with me and 50% of the day rescuing animals from abusive/neglectful situations and placing them with rescue organizations.

Rant: my mom had to unexpectedly put down her cat AND broke her wrist an hour later (she is under the knife right now). UGH. These are the times when I really hate living away from my family (1500KM with some sea in the middle). 
Rave: TGIF, I guess! One of my best friends is in town, also, can't wait to spend some quality time with DH (we had guests staying last weekend so we haven't really spent some good time together in two weeks!) 

CS/Q: nothing to see/ask I guess, although I am stupidly analysing my temps and SS like crazy. If TWW cryopreservation was possible, I would so be in. 

GTKY: If you were invisible for the day, what would you do? Probably go somewhere that's hard for 'normal people' to get to, although I'd need to research what that is a bit better. Somewhere in the Vatican or Buckingham palace?
Also I would also skip a bunch of queues just for the sake of it (the Brits are big queuers and I don't have this discipline in me)

R/R: I feel so incredibly stupid for getting my hopes up. I mean come on its cycle 19...why would it be anything other than a BFN?! DH just doesn't get it, and he tells me daily that he likes our life and would be perfectly happy if we never had children. So hearing that on a day like today just put me into an even worse mood.

R/R: I am unexpectedly working from home today so I put a chocolate dutch baby in the oven. I'm going to try not to say anything about politics on TB today because there's no point, but suffice to say I need a chocolately distraction for breakfast so I can stop thinking about how divided this country is. 

CS/Q: I temped this morning for the first time all cycle, just to "make sure" I ovulated. The temp was in my post-O range, but then I felt like a crazy lady because it was a little bit higher than my usual 2/3dpo temp, so I looked at all of my charts again to think about it a lot. DO NOT LET ME TEMP ANY MORE THIS CYCLE GUYS

GTKY: I would sneak into some meetings of power brokers to figure out how best to protect our civil liberties in the future.

@adirat  STEP AWAY from the thermometer! I have found that by not temping I'm not obsessed with testing because I pee before I even have a chance to think about temps/TTC etc. It helps keep the BSC away... somewhat.

@jmr1515 I'm sorry for the BFN, I wish it got easier.

@sbarluccico so sorry about your mom and that you're so far away! I was living across the country from my mom when she was sick (not across an ocean but still not ideal) and it was awful.  But enjoy the time with your friend!!
@BertieMeetsGertie I'm so jealous you're going to the march tomorrow! I so wanted to be there but I am not allowed to because of work (I work for a federal judge so no political engagement allowed).  I will be marching with you in spirit though!

@hartmich I totally agree about the latter part of the TWW.  I'll think I'm doing ok--not to anxious, accepting of things, etc., and then I get to around 10 DPO and I also become a hot mess. A ball of nerves, totally on edge and emotional.  It's the worst

jmr1515 sorry for BFN, and it must be very hard to hear that from YH. TBH, I have been guilty of saying the same thing in the past. I don't know YH obvs, so I can't speak for him, but in my case it was more of a way of convincing myself, and trying to face the horrendous fear I feel about this TTC journey.

Timing: Good, I hope. Triggered Tuesday night and IUIs Wednesday and Thursday. Going to BD this morning sometime soon. 

Testing: They actually didn't tell me to test on a certain date. I'm going in Tuesday to get my progesterone level checked so I'll ask them then.

R/R: Just happy it's Friday and I'm in TWW. I can never decide if WTO or TWW goes by slower.

CS/Q: Not temping this cycle, they told me the Femara and trigger can throw temps off and I don't need more to stress over.

Get on a flight somewhere tropical (and Zika free). And I second @sbarluccio in the skipping lines

@sbarluccico I noted CM a couple times just to give myself an idea of when CD1 may be because I'm doing CD3 testing this month. But other than that, I really needed a break from it all. It's been so nice.

@hartmich I am sure it has been! I started temping after 8 months of TTC just by looking at CM/CP, and I miss the blissful carefree attitude of those months (but we have been TTC the carefree way for waaay too long so it's time to get serious for me!)

@sbarluccico Fwiw -- I temped cycles 2-8 and decided not to this cycle. I suspected that my cm and o pain would match up well enough to know ovulation within a couple days without temping or OPKs, and I think I was right. If you temp a couple cycles and everything matches up, you may not need to keep temping indefinitely. Unless something crazy happens with my luteal phase length indicating my O estimate was totally wrong, I doubt I will go back to daily temping in the future. I may just do cm and do a temp or two to "check" later. 

@hartmich I am really hoping that not temping in the morning will also relieve my desire to poas!

R/R: Significant temp drop this morning, which was expected so I'll probably be back to WTO over the weekend. Ultrasound went okay yesterday I suppose. They don't tell you anything so you have to wait to hear from your doctor. They did an internal one too and that was less than pleasant but whatever it takes to get a take home baby, I'm in.  

CS/Q:

GTKY: If you were invisible for the day, what would you do? I would literally haunt the shit out of people that annoy me.  And if I saw someone playing with a Ouiiji board I would screw with that too.

R/R: I'm having a rough day. One of my board members is being a straight up dick to me - it's really hard to explain, other than he's a total male chauvinist, and looks for every single teeny tiny opportunity to call me out in public. Like, yelling at me in the board meeting because he didn't like the menu I'd chosen for the annual meeting. Keep in mind that every time in the past that I've asked the board about details like menus, they have zero opinion and looks at me like I'm crazy for asking. I'm over it and will probably need to confront him about it, although I'm not sure it'll do any good. 


And, who the eff is RainCity? I mean, I know she was on the boards a while ago buuuuuuuuuuut.....

@jess0211 Thanks! All they could say was that they would be sending the results to the doctor but they couldn't say which doctor.  If its my GP who ordered it i should know within a week or so. If they're sending it to the IF clinic, my appointment isn't until March 1 so it could be a bit.

Oh my goodness...I got 7.5 hours of blissful sleep last night! That's an hour longer than I have slept almost any night for the past few months. I am attributing it to Natural Calm which I have now been taking for 1 week straight. I have upped the dosage a bit, but for the past few months right around 6-7DPO, my sleeping would become erratic and I would get insane insomnia. But so far since O, (knock on wood, please don't jinx it), I have being sleeping better with each night and I am at 9dpo. 

Rant: I am continuing employee contract renewals today and well let's just say, my popularity points are going to plummet today.

That's a tough one. Maybe go to the movie theater and watch a bunch of movies for free. Can't see me, can't charge me.

R/R: presidential inauguration! Love watching the ceremony. It's also the weekend!!!! Rant: Cali is currently in a down pour and I'm freakin over it! 

CS/Q: I always have questions, and when it's time to fill this out I forget! Lame! Oh....I know! Does anyone else ever get a heavy low feeling in their uterus around ovulation? Is it during or after for you? The last two days I feel like I have a cantaloupe in there weighing my lower abs down. Along with some mild period like cramps.

R/R:  Calling it early but I am sprinting over here today.  My follie matured enough to trigger yesterday, with a second one big enough for my doc to warn me we could be at risk for twins.  I triggered last night and am already testing out the trigger...for science.  I went ahead and asked her what is next if this doesn't take, and we decided my H will be getting a SA in the next 2 weeks and next cycle we are planning on an IUI with the same medication regimen.  

CS/Q:

GTKY: If you were invisible for the day, what would you do?  I would try to peek behind the curtain for places I don't have access to.  Not, like, top secret spaces or listening in on secrets but like, I'd like to see all of Doris Duke's Shangri La, not just what's on the tour.  And I'd want to just sit there on her lanai and take it in and not be ushered to leave when the tour group time is up.  And backstage during a Wonderbound ballet practice or a rehearsal for Hamilton or The Sound of Music.  Stuff like that.
