Apparently it's becoming more popular (I think it's now #288?), but I've known two personally in my life. What are your thoughts, and middle name suggestions? What do you picture a Nadia to look like?

I love it! All the Nadia's I have known were either Russian or Italian so my visual is dark features. I tried to sell it to H for DD but he said no

I love Nadia. I taught a Nadia years ago, and she was precious and made me love the name. I've taught in an elementary school for 11 years and only met one. Not common at all, but beautiful and recognizable. I like it with a short middle name: Claire, Joy, Faith.

I went to school with 4 Nadia's.  The name holds 0 appeal to me.... but it looks like I'm the black sheep! 3 of the 4 of them were dirty blondes and one brunette.  I hear it, I see a pasty blonde girl.

I had the name on our list and it was a no go for DH. However I like the name. I have never met a single Nadia in my life. I think it's pretty and different.

If my oldest son was a girl, Nadia was the name we chose.  I don't personally know a Nadia.  I personally think Nadia sounds great with a 1 syllable middle name.

I think Nadia had grown in popularity because it is the reverse of Aidan. He had become a popular twin combo.

I love Nadia, but I like the variation pronounced like in American Pie, not with a long "a" vowel at the front. Not sure which is the proper way to way it, though.
