Also, anytime anyone says something about how they had to or will have to stop TTC because of a family vacation to Florida it upsets me a little. Even tho I know it's much easier to stop TTC for a week than, say, forever because I live down here, and I'm sure I would do the same thing if I were them.
eta- btw I do the same thing because I avoid miami, so no judgement here, it's just scary for me to see
I'm kinda horrible to the environment because reusable dish towels, sponges, and wash clothes really gross me out. I use a ridiculous amount of paper towels.
FFFC: A FB "friend" posted that her 7 mo son fell off of the bed while she was in the shower and I hard core judged her for it. 90% of my judgement was because of the fact that she posted that... just why? Accidents happen but I don't think all of FB needs to know about it. 10% was my judgement about her leaving him in the middle of her bed whilst showering. Aren't LO sort of mobile by 7 months?
I'm overly judgey with her though - she was a 1/1 snowflayke who will tell anyone with ears how easy it was for her to get ktfu.
Never thought I'd say this, but I want my next period to come really fast.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@RedBreast35 ew! Just why? @JulesDP I hear ya on the 1/1 snowflayke thing....we have a girl at work who has 2 kids already and just remarried so she was telling EVERYONE about how once they got married they were gonna try for a LO and how fertile she is....she got pregnant on their honeymoon......wtf?? Not fair.
@JulesDP I don't even know her and I'm hardcore judging her! You don't leave a small child like that alone on a bed for any amount of time!
@NYTino24 I'm so sorry for everything you're going through right now! I hope AF comes quickly.
@kaitlink33 I have a coworker that has 2 kids neither of which were planned. She complained throughout most of her pregnancy and I wanted to throat punch her every time she did. Thankfully she's now on maternity leave and she's taking 3 months so hopefully I will be KU myself before I have to hear her complain about how difficult it is with 2 LOs and how she doesn't get much sleep and blah blah blah

@alysapuggles haha, in the weekly randoms, we were talking about a thread from a BMB years ago where they discovered one of their loved regulars was actually a catfish! I think it was even after their LO's were born and he/she was around for the entire ride, so over a year! It brought attention to the fact that we are all strangers here and who knows if we have our own catfish?!
@kaitlink33 Here's hoping karma takes her down a notch. A lot of women had no trouble getting knocked up with their first marriage because it happened when they were in their early 20s. Early 30s? Not so easy! She might be in for a rude awakening. (And I just saw how old you are in your siggy, and wanted to assure you my example is not a jab at your age, just pointing out that although it's easy for some women when young, they'll find it's harder when they try again when they're older.)
I confess I was googling this morning, trying to get some information about egg quality. I googled "It Starts With the Egg" and, of course, several Bump threads came up talking about it. I clicked on one from 2015. One of the commenters in the thread was banned, so I had to click on her name to find out why. I spent the next 1.5 hours in a rabbit hole of drama llama threads involving the banned woman and beyond.
And yeah, @haylsbayls, I think you've piqued everyone's interest!

@JuneRoseRuby YAS, girl. In this area spelling and grammar are...well... not a priority for many. I'm part of a horse buying/selling FB group and SO MANY PEOPLE say that they want to "sale" their horse - it happens enough that I know it's not just a typo. And then my head explodes.
@JuneRoseRuby@LuND Yes!!!!! I also hate when people mix up loose vs lose. It's really not rocket science people! If English is your first language, you should really know this! I really have to hold myself back so that I don't correct every single grammar mistake I see!

@lulu1180@JuneRoseRuby I'm an editor. One of the writers I review seems to think a semi-colon is a fancy comma. Which, come to think of it, makes me wonder, why does she think she needs to use a fancy comma in the first place? A basic comma isn't good enough for her?

My mom is an English teacher and I am a grammar Nazi, although only in my head. I hate to say, but DH does not have the greatest grammar in the world. Sometimes he tags me in a FB post and spells what is supposed to be "their," "there." I just cringe and hide in shame. And in my area for some reason people use seen instead of saw, and done instead of did. "I seen that" and "I already done it" make my blood boil!
@dogdisnylovr in my area we get a lot of what I call "white trash" grammar, too. And I make no apologies for that label! ETA: my DH has started to be influenced by the local "white trash" grammar, and it makes me want to stab him in the eye with a pencil.
@dogdisnylovr i CANNOT stand when people say "I seen _____." Or when people are telling a story about what they said to someone but they say "And I says." NO.
I just had to jump in on all the grammar talk. I work with all engineers and I need to proofread anything they write because they put commas EVERYWHERE. I don't understand why they use so many commas. They all do it, and at least some acknowledge that they do.
One of my biggest pet peeves is when people mix up me and I. Seriously. DH and I are going to the store. Not DH and me are going to the store. Does me going to the store sound correct to anyone??? NO.
My FFFC will likely be flamed by a few people, but here goes. I think it's incredibly irresponsible for adults to not have health insurance if they can afford it. I know many people who choose not to have insurance, but live a pretty lavish lifestyle. And don't even get me started on parents who don't have insurance for their kids but yet they can afford luxury cars and really expensive handbags. Insure your greatest asset people!!!!!

My social media grammar pet peeve is now "could of" and "should of" instead of "could've" and "should've." When I see friends--educated, well-employed friends--using "could of" I want to reach through the computer and choke them.
@BertieMeetsGertie I'm not going to say people must have insurance because that's a "to each their own" for me, but they will find out how important insurance is on their own when they have an accident or get injured and don't have coverage, and I sure as hell am a big believer in personal responsibility. I can understand not wanting insurance because you're young and maybe preventive care isn't important to you, but you gotta think about the unexpected, i.e. the entire reason insurance exists in the first place.

@lulu1180 yes, we have a seperate coworker where I was ok who is also KU with her 3rd child to a 3rd baby daddy who btw just left her....again for the millionth time (she knows he cheats ALL.THE.TIME yet purposely got KU'ed to try and keep him around) and all she does is when about her pregnancy and she knows a lot about my struggle not the ehole story but a lot and one day I got soff icky of her whining I finally told her to be grateful to be pregnant and that she can be pregnant and stormed away. Which probably seemed childish but I'm so sick of listening to her whine when I would LOVE to be tired and sick all the time just to have a baby.
@eggplantface she is 30 and idk how long it took her to conceive the other 2 but with the one she is currently pregnant with she got pregnant right on their honeymoon like I said....no trying, no planning, nothing. She is damn proud of herself for it too.
@BertieMeetsGertie this is kind of a tangent to what you're saying, but I just found out the other day that welfare insurance covers everything....and I mean EVERYTHING....including Fertility related things....why in Sam hell would I want my tax dollars going to helping these people get pregnant so that they can put them on welfare too and get more of my money?!?! I dont...I pay for my heath insurance and most health insurances don't coverror anything IF related, but this one does?!? Not that it matters much because almost all of them are fertile Myrtle anyway, but still pisses me off royally...
And there are too many to tag, but to all the grammar convos just yes...it takes everything in me not to correct people when they use the wrong "their" "there" "they're" or "loose" vs "lose" etc. My biggest one is at work when people refer to it as an O2stat instead of an O2sat......I'm sorry, but if you work in healthcare you should at least know what you're talking about especially if you're saying it to a patient....sorry, rant over

@kiwi2628 hahahaha ugh I totally didn't mean to "drop a bomb" !!! I assumed that everyone here had someone that they thought could be catfish and it would be a fun conversation. Trust me, if I had any ounce of evidence besides "I just feel like this person may be a catfish" I would share with all of you! There's literally no gossip or drama in my post but after reading the catfish thread, I made up my mind that every BMB and group (TTGP) must have at least one catfish because people are cray.
I apologize to all of you who thought I may have any evidence to back up my thoughts!!

My biggest one is at work when people refer to it as an O2stat instead of an O2sat......I'm sorry, but if you work in healthcare you should at least know what you're talking about especially if you're saying it to a patient....sorry, rant over
Man, that's a good idea. I wish I had been doing that this whole time. If you wanted to cross out names and post some of those here we'd be OK with that...
