Delivered via c-section due to Frank breech presentation. I was scheduled for my c section on 10/21 but this little girl had ideas of her own and I went into labor at noon on 10/18. I was the 5th of 6 c-sections that day...so about 8 1/2 hours of labor without meds
waiting for the OR to open up. Our beautiful baby girl was out in about 20 minutes or so. That first cry is the most amazing sound I've ever heard! We spent 5 days in the hospital with lots of help from the lactation consultants and supplementation with donor milk and my own expressed colostrum until my milk came in on day 5.
