CD/DPO of first BFP?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP?
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU?
How was your timing?
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
How many months/cycles had you been TTGP? ~18 month journey total (my cycles are a bit longer than months generally). 11 cycles TTC, MMC @9.5 weeks, 4 month break, 2 cycles TTCAL
What did your chart look like?
What were you doing TGKU? this cycle, along with the cycle with our loss, are the only ones I used OPKs, preseed and temping all together.
How was your timing? Very glad we started HIO earlier than normal, because I ovulated 3-4 days earlier than pre-MMC (didn't temp when I was benched, or in that first cycle TTCAL.)
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)? I felt some cramping at 6dpo, had trouble sleeping, felt really hot (?), Skin break out, digestive system has slowed down a ton, and I've been emotional (started off as anger, I yelled at poor DH ~6dpo and then as of yesterday, crying randomly). With my MMC, I found out I was pregnant when an ovarian cyst rupture sent me to the ER. I had serious boob pain with that one. So while it makes me nervous that I dont have that, I'm also thinking I shouldn't compare because that time clearly didn't work out.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner? On Friday (after a few drinks) DH was getting very emotional about having a little one around and said he had a good feeling about this cycle. So I told him about how my body felt "different", and was explaining my chart, so I'm not sure it ended up being a complete surprise. But anyways, Sunday morning I got a very faint positive, so I tied a note to one of our cats collars that said "big brother" and woke him up. He was a little out of it so it wasn't a huge reaction. I think he started panicking later on, because he started talking about how we should buy a new house, our school districts, etc.
Anything else to add? Thank you to everyone for your support, wisdom and kindness. Being a part of this community has kept me sane and gave me hope when I needed it the most. Love to all of you.
We just started trying 12 months ago. This was cycle 4 of us trying after my MC in May.
What did your chart look like?
Amazing! Everyone kept telling me my chart looked so good and it was giving me so much hope for this cycle!
What were you doing TGKU?
BBT CM CP this was my first cycle using OPKs and I've been taking PNV for about a year now
How was your timing?
-2, 0, +1
What symptoms did you have, if any (CS & CD breakdowns welcome)?
Not a whole lot. I started getting heartburn (which isn't unusual) around CD10 and my nipples feel extra sensitive. I never had much symptoms with my first or with my pregnancy that ended in a MC so I'm not too worried yet.
How are you going to/did you tell your partner?
I have no idea. I'm going to wait a few days until my test is darker. Otherwise he's not likely to believe the it.
Anything else to add?
I never thought I would be sad to get my BFP. Part of me is so sad I'll be leaving all my new friends here. I'm rooting so hard for all of you and I hope you all get BFPs and take home babies soon! I love you all and I'll be lurking you guys so hard. I don't know what I would have done without your support for the past 4 months.
@cheframsay omg congrats! I wanted to be in Sept anyways, but this makes me want it even more!! So happy for you and your little rainbow
