R/R: last night we pretty bad. Bella(my dog) kept snapping at Dollie & Dollie (my parents dog) isn't having it and they're going at each other. They normally get along. Then my brother & his wife brought over their little dog and Bella went ape shit. Squealing and barking and going after her. I've never heard her like that. So we had to keep her locked up. Every time we'd try to bring her out, she'd be ok until she saw their little dog. I know it sounds insignificant but she's my baby.

I don't have a picture but my dog always makes me smile when I get home. He doesn't jump up when he's excited (thank God since he's huge) instead he does this cute little butt wiggle as he runs around in a circle in front of you. It's really cute and it always makes me happy.

R/R: Yesterday was terrible. My siblings and I get together for Christmas since our family doesn't do anything. My brother cancelled on us and we had each other for gifts, and so I got to watch my sisters exchange their presents. My little sister hosts and she's so controlling. She assigned us seats this year, and told me she didn't want me sitting on her dining room chairs because they were new and she didn't want me to break them (because I'm obese.) That hurt pretty bad, and when I tried to leave my car wouldn't start which kind of took the wind out of my sails. My mother in law, that morning, bought me an ugly brown corduroy shirt, which if I'm being honest I'd rather she hadn't bought me anything at all. Meanwhile my husband and our room mate got comfy and cute looking pajama sets and my sister in law got a really neat yarn bowl. And to top all of it off, my husband got me nothing because he can't be bothered unless I beg him to. So. Almost the worst Christmas ever.
And I know, Christmas isn't about presents. And honestly, it's just the opening of presents that I like. As long as the gift inside shows me that the person was thinking of me, it could be my own shoe for all I care. This year, I feel like I kind of slipped through the cracks.
CS/Q: My temp spiked high two days ago, and yesterday went back down, and today is high again. Waiting for another temp to see a bigger picture.
GTKY: I'm such a simple person that I laugh over the dumbest things. For instance: Two potatoes were sitting in an oven. One potato turned the other and said "Man, it's hot in here!" and the other potato said "AHHHHH TALKING POTATO!!!!" I have laughed so hard at that joke, my dad thought I was nuts. And I heard it retold with cupcake and muffins and still lost it like I had heard the joke for the first time.

@sheknows6 Good luck cutting out alcohol in 2017! I was thinking about trying to abstain from alcohol for the new year too. I'm sure I don't have enough self control for that though.

On the plus side, DH is being a champ about still HIO even though I'm sniffling all the way through it haha

R/R: The last few days have been a real mindf*ck. I had about 36 hours of pretty severe cramps before AF actually started and I was really starting to freak out that something was wrong since that never happens. Plus, I was starting Letrozole for the first time, and panicked that something being off was going to screw that up. And my RE's was closed for four days because Christmas. Plus H being at work on Christmas. Just let this week/month/year be over already.

I had an appointment 4 days ago, the day after I stopped the increased dose of Letrozole, and had no response then.
CS/Q: Anyone else not respond to Letrozole? How many cycles did you try it with no response before moving on to different teatment?

R/R: DH has been on board with trying for a baby all along, and then last night while we're laying in bed he says "so tomorrow's when we start having sex to try for a baby?" And when I respond yes he says he's nervous. He had had several beers so I chalked it up to that and figured we'd talk about it today. Today I asked him about it and he explained he is nervous because it's such a huge responsibility but that he is ready. I was starting to worry this would result in him not being able to dtd, if you know what I mean. Buuut not 10 minutes later he said he was ready to go, right then. And it went successfully. We'll see how the rest of this week goes!

The movie was great! And we stopped at the store and my H bought me a new stand mixer. I've wanted one for a long time now but I didn't feel comfortable spending that much on something I don't really need. He saw it was on sale and decided to buy it for me. It would have been nice for him to wrap it and surprise me, but I appreciate that he picked something for me that he knew I would love. We don't celebrate Christmas so it's my New Year's present and my H told me I can't open it until next weekend. I already have a list of things I'll want to make next weekend. Homemade marshmallows will probably be the first thing!

Sooo update on my vag. TMI warning. Turns out I had an allergic reaction to the perfume in the hand soap I used to wash my Diva cup. I basically gave myself a chemical peel. I'm raw and very sore. I'm pissed off at myself and hope everything gets better before I O or this cycle will be a total bust. FML.
