TP to teeth!! DS was up 7 times last night because of them and then up for the day at 6am. I'm on vacation- let me sleep.
Also TP To my MIL. This is my FIRST day of vacation and she is already whining that I never let her see her grandson. Um. I've been on vacation for like an hour.
I have posted before that my MIL is emotionally manipulative and in general runs in manic and depressive waves. I wish she believed in therapy. This year for christmas she installed a hot tub. They live far and we will be there a few days over the holiday. She has texted us everyday to bring our bathing suits. I'll likely be there for CD2-6. DH already has a low count. He does not need hot tub time. He also has type 1 diabetes so something like a hot tub is against medical advice. MIL gets so crazy about certain aspects of his health and freaks out if we do not buy organic vegetables but because she thinks a hot tub would be fun there is no health concern over that and she CRIED when DH said he would probably not go in because of diabetes. Because that's a normal adult reaction... It gets better. She texted me yesterday to tell me she is getting DH a plane ticket to florida to play golf with his dad. It wasn't for permission. It was to tell me it is already done. He will be there CD13 to 17. This text happened within an hour of my 12DPO BFN. Goodbye january fertile window because DH not going would be grounds for her not to talk to him for a year. That has already happened for a much less significant reason. Also, I'm over holidays where DH gets 1000 dollar gift card to Brooks brothers and I get nail Polish. I understand he is her son but it's egregious.
Sorry for the huge rant. I'm on mobile but when I get to a computer I'll add a cute animal gif to reward anyone who reads this.

@WillRunForWine21 It sounds like not talking to your MIL for a year would be a win. I'm sorry she sucks so much. I'll put up a cute kitty gif to make you smile, since I just learned how to gif yesterday.
@WillRunForWine21 I'm so sorry. I hope your H is on your side at least when it comes to her (even if he doesn't want to get to the point where she won't talk to him for a year, which is understandable. Family is family after all, for better or worse).
This isn't nearly as bad, but I was ranting to my friend, who has *TW* managed to get KU basically the first time she tries each time, about how I asked DH five months ago to stop smoking weed (which he does probably 2-3 times a week) and to take a multivitamin while we're TTC and he still hasn't done either. She responded "well, my H smoked weed while we were trying and it worked out fine for us! I don't think it's an issue!" I pretty much lost it. I was like, well I'm glad your H is super fertile but not everyone is *end TW*

@WillRunForWine21 What if your husband already had plans? She obviously has no sense of boundaries. I'm sure she will be upset about it but maybe your husband can mention to her that in the future he would like for you to take part in the decision if it means he will be going out of town. Even my husband's boss has him talk to me about taking business trips if it's last minute!
@sheknows6 Got it. Thanks. I had an idea based on context but just couldn't figure it out exactly what it stood for. Well here's mine: DH. He can go suck it.
Last night PMS-me decided to lay out all my requests on the table
for DH. Among them (most of which were silly little things like “when you feed
the dog before leaving, please tell me so we don't kill him with food”) was a
conversation about our lack of intimacy. He got on my case for like 9 months
about wanting to start trying again, I finally got in the head space to do it
and stopped BC, and now he’s like “I’m not in the mood” every. single. day.
Turns out the reason he’s avoiding me is because he wants to wait until all the
pot is out of his system.
Apparently a couple months ago while DS and I were away for a funeral hubby decided to treat
himself. Now, almost every night after I go to bed he gets high and plays video
games. He's afraid we'll accidentally get KTFU while he's still smoking. And so until he can get his s**t figured out...

@JJMNO1616 I wish she was the type of person you could talk to about that stuff. If he says that it will cue the guilt trip of "I don't understand why you don't want to spend time with you father. When did we become last on your list of priorities?" It's hard to understand because we are all rational people and she simply is not. She uses his dad on purpose too. I would like to TP my lazy ass coworker. A few weeks ago see ordered a ton of printer ink which then sat on a counter outside my office for 2 days before she finally decided to put it away. Wait I'm confused. Why would your DH smoking and you getting KU be a problem?
@Pinky917 sorry your co worker sucks! Hopefully your boss is smart enough to see through that nonsense!
@Lizlann well deserved TP to your H! I'd be completely annoyed that he didn't mention his concerns earlier and that he's holding up the baby making!
TP to my DH who just called me at work to inform me there is, what he is referring to as a "gouge", in the hardwood floor in our living room. @Uhlease13 I thought that at first too, and was thinking, wow @WillRunForWine21 you are much better than I would be, wishing thoughts and prayers to your MIL who's being a total TW. But then I realized what it actually meant and it makes much more sense..yes, TP
Seriously though @WillRunForWine21 that is awful! Maybe a year off might not be so bad, like pps have said. Ugh, so sorry
@JJMNO1616 I don't think I've seen anything that shows that it can cause defects or anything in the baby if a man smokes BEFORE conception (us smoking on the other hand during pregnancy could obviously cause problems). I could be wrong, though! And I can understand being paranoid about it either way.

@Jillibean0871 & @eggplantface we recently installed wood-look tile. It is officially the bomb.com. So far it's proven to be virtually indestructible - and we have a 90 lb dog with huge claws. It's also great with water, so if anyone tracks snow in or spills water on it we don't have to worry. I highly recommend!
@Lizlann Absolutely!! I would feel the same way. Although i'd more likely be the one hiding something like that from my DH then the other way around LOL.
TP to my dog. His urinalysis came back perfect - no indication of UTI or stones. We also did blood tests to see if there are any indications of kidney problems or cancer. Nope. So, all of his peeing on things a couple days ago is a complete mystery.
AND, today DH and I took him for along walk, and DH is home with him all day so he's been going out to potty regularly, and DH just texted me that he caught him peeing on one of the guest room beds.
@LuND yes...... we totally want to put that in the basement and I'm about one more complaint away from putting in the entire house! When we bought our house th floors were a HUGE selling factor b/c they are grey hardwood. They are also a HUGE pain in my ass bc H keeps bitching about them! I told him to call a carpet place and have carpet installed! He didn't like my response!
As far as your dog and the peeing, I've got one of them. He's just a little f'er! He actually peed on my two year old in his sleep the other night. Because the dog wanted to sleep in my sons bed. Who does that! Lol
@jillibean0871 I'm sorry, but I giggled a little bit when I read about your dog. I would be mad, too!
@LuND I'm sorry there's no obvious reason for your dog peeing everywhere. Is he an old dog, maybe he has bad hips that hurt? Is there something outside in your yard or along your regular walking route that might have scared him enough to not want to go outside? I realize cats and dogs are apples and oranges, but.. anecdotally, one of my cats stopped using the litter boxes altogether. We finally figured out it was because our youngest cat was attacking the other two in the litter boxes, and bear hugging them while they were mid-poop or pee and couldn't stop (lol). We ended up having to get more litter boxes and separate them far enough that the youngest kitty couldn't always see when one of them was in the box, and it helped. Anyway, sometimes stuff like other dogs or pets can be scary.
@ColoradoHiker I laughed about it after I was done being annoyed about it.my son woke up and thought he peed himself so there was no harm done other than me getting up in the middle of the night to change the baby, the bed and tell the dog to go to his crate.
@jillibean0871 I, too, giggled about the dog peeing on your son...... but I would've been livid in the moment if I were you!
@ColoradoHiker yes, he's an older dog - 10 years old. He appears to be in perfect health aside from the peeing. He used to NEVER pee inside unless something scared the bejeezus out of him. He loves going for walks, although he has slipped and fallen on ice a couple times recently.... maybe that has something to do with it? He still willingly jumps on and off beds (clearly), couches, and in and out of the car, and his movement is still very fluid, so I don't THINK his hips or body hurt anywhere. He's kind of a baby, so if he's in any kind of pain he lets you know very quickly.
After doing a little research, the most obvious medical reasons seem to be possible diabetes or cushings disease. However, the recent blood tests we did seemed to rule these out as well.
@dilynne ME TOO. I'm posted up on my couch with my heating pad and a bag of goldfish. Where's the wine?!
@lund my dog has taken to pooping on my living room rug this week. For no reason. Previously he'd bark at you forever to go outside until you gave in. WHY.
@LuND We rescued a 2 ish year old Sheltie a week ago. We're house training her and our almost 2 year old Maltese who was trained to use an indoor dog potty. The first few days were rough as expected but they caught on quickly. Last night Ellie (the Sheltie) just looked at me and peed on the floor. A bit later I found out Ellie won't sleep in her bed because our Maltese has been peeing in it. DH put the bed where her indoor potty used to be so I understand the mistake, but I really didn't want to do an extra load of laundry. I feel bad because the only reason I noticed was that I had made Ellie lay in her bed, then realized it was covered in pee so I made her lay in a pee covered bed.
I will probably get throat punched for this, but I am side eyeing some of the posters to the TTGP thread since I don't recognize any of them. But I have only been here since October, so maybe I missed their participation.
Don't get me wrong, I wish them a happy and healthy 9 months, but I don't know them because I haven't seen them participate. I would have rather seen the regulars post their BFPs....
But maybe I am feeling bitter today. So feel free to throat punch me.

@lund my dog has taken to pooping on my living room rug this week. For no reason. Previously he'd bark at you forever to go outside until you gave in. WHY.

Don't get me wrong, I wish them a happy and healthy 9 months, but I don't know them because I haven't seen them participate. I would have rather seen the regulars post their BFPs....
But maybe I am feeling bitter today. So feel free to throat punch me.
(Eta: Full disclosure, today was supposed to be our first appointment, so I am feeling particularly bitter.)
