Also, I am shocked that more ladies haven't done the Baking soda test! Perhaps it's from TTC >12mo, but I have peed on sooo many sticks (OPK and hCG) that I have a permanent "pee cup" in the loo. Scooping a bit of baking soda in didn't seem such a stretch for me. However, that was the last time I used the cup...and I think it may have made it into the "gen pop" of glassware...after a spin in the dishwasher...I should go check...

It's actually pretty interesting to read some of the origins of these. Believe it or not, there is a similar test that was done in ancient Egypt to test for gender that, amazingly, was accurate about 70% of the time! If anyone is interested, here's a link to an abridged version. Pretty fascinating stuff!

How fun!!!! Is everyone finding out from testing they had done? I'm almost 13 weeks and the earlier they will do sex untrasound is 16 weeks for an extra fee. Normally it's 20 week anatomy scan.
@lovelee85 i think at this point we're all finding out if we did NIPT (panorama, materni21, etc). We did ours at 9w5d and since it looks at fetal DNA its able to tell you whether or not you have a Y chromosome in there.
Hope everyone is getting positive results, and knowing he sex early is just an extra bonus! If you don't mind me asking, is it just a blood test? I was never told about any of extra test with either pregnancy.

It's a girl! Also: the transvaginal dating u/s showed the same exact placement of the placenta and the fetal pole as DD and the heartbeat was the same as DD, too. I'm sure that's just how I do pregnancy, but interesting for Ramzi method people
