CD: 14... my body is saying I either ovulated yesterday or today but the OPKs are telling a different story. CM is still wet so I am going to hang out with you madies in WTO for a bit longer.
WAYDTGKU: pnv, opks, cm
R/R: Rant: 3 hr staff meeting today...really is a 3 hr meeting ever necessary? Rave: potluck at work today!!! And after today things *should* start to quiet down.
CS/Q: I got nothing related to TTC, but I can't seem to gif on my phone? Any suggestions?
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? Some Hallmark Christmas movie...it was ok.
R/R: Rant-It is SO COLD here today. I'm still laying in bed because I'm dreading taking the covers off. Rave-Only two more days until the weekend. This week has gone by so slowly.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? DH and I don't watch movies too often. We're more the Netflix-tv show-binging type. I think the last movie we saw in the theater was Suicide Squad, and I only gave in to seeing it after DH begged for a couple weeks. I had read reviews and expected it to be terrible. I was right.
I still want to see Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Big Harry Potter fan right here.
@LadyMeowMeow that movie definitely does not interest me either. I'm sorry it's so cold! Since moving south, I have quite forgotten the cold temps. I'm in for a rude awakening when we go back to Chicago for Xmas .
@beachbunnyxo123 yay for moving over to TWW. Hope we join you soon
R/R: DH and I got into a fight this morning. He doesn't understand the science behind TTC. He didn't want to BD last night (even though we spent 1.5 hours at his favorite outdoors store so he could pick out his Christmas gift and he was in a GREAT mood) when I tried to get him to BD this morning he hesitated saying he would be late for work (even though he overslept 55 minutes past his alarm.. I think @FLAshley has this problem if I remember right) Which infuriated me. He keeps throwing it in my face that I don't know when O is. I keep trying to explain that no, I don't know beforehand. I can only use the clues my body gives me and verify it after the fact. Needless to say no BD, one crying wife and one pissed off husband rushing to work. I'm sure we've allllll been there at some point, I even asked him if he wanted to take it off the table because I don't think he's putting in a valiant effort. He said no, but I really wish he could understand the agony we go through temping, tracking POAS. Especially those of us with irregular cycles or coming off BC, even non hormonal Paraguard. F the CopperIUD.. FML.
CS/Q: Just waiting to O. Most of the fertile signs, and some constant tenderness on my right side. Not sharp pain yet. Anyone get tenderness and pain later?
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? The Italian Job. A professor of mine from college (TV/Film major) was the 2nd AD and I had never seen the full thing, so I wanted to and it was on Netflix. Kind of Oceans 11ish, good and had a good cast
@jess0211 Sorry for the ridiculously long staff meeting
@LadyMeowMeow It's cold here too. Right now it's -4 and it's only supposed to get up to 7. FX my office is warmer than it was yesterday.
Month/Cycle: 4/4 1 TTCAL
CD: 10
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, OPKs (CBAD and Wondfo), HIO ED-EOD during FW
R/R: Well I was going to rave about how I made 100 orange cranberry cookies last night BUT I got a flashy smiley face on CBAD this morning *happy dance all around the house*! Last month I had an unusually long cycle and didn't get one until CD14 and then didn't get a solid smiley until CD19. If that happened this month O was probably going to coincide with Christmas/the 26th. The 24th we're at my parents house (HIO not impossible but awkward) and then the afternoon of Christmas I leave for San Francisco to visit my sister. Wondfos are still super negative but at least we know that my estrogen levels are acting like I'm going to ovulate.
CS/Q: Nothig today
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? You're asking me to remember things! I think it was The Holiday on ABC Family or whatever that channel is called now. It's not my favorite Christmas movie, but I do like it. I love the old man and Jack Black isn't irritating in it.
@kariann323 yay for blinking smiley AND the cookies!! Question for you, do you often find that CBAD are more sensitive than Wondfos? I haven't turned a Wondfo yet this month and was thinking I have to be getting close to O with all the other signs, was going to invest in some CBAD today to see what's up/if it's worth it.
WAYDTGKU: temping, opks, vitamins, tea, tracking cm, etc.
R/R: I'm going to have a delicious dinner with one of our vendors tonight. It'll probably be only slightly less awkward than the holiday party last week, but hey, at least there was good food at both! I need to blow this popsicle stand asap.
CS/Q: Nope. All signs point to O'ing any day now
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? We just watched Lucky Number Slevin. Actually, it was pretty good.
@LadyMeowMeow I am right there with you with Fantastic Beasts. I'm actually angry at DH that he hasn't taken me yet. We were supposed to go the night it came out.
@Flinstone Sorry about your fight. I think the vast majority of us have had that same "discussion." As many times as we tell our H's, they sometimes just don't get that we can't possibly know when we will O (oh yes, my right ovary is telling me I will O at 9:56am on December 15th). Ridiculous!
Month/Cycle: 6/7
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: all the things
R/R: Two days of work until the weekend!! And I only have three days next week and then two glorious weeks off!
CS/Q: If I put in a high temp tomorrow, I get CH for Tuesday. I think O was yesterday. Might post my chart in the CS thread tomorrow
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? We see A LOT of movies, especially this time of the year (hello Oscar contenders!). The most recent was Manchester by the sea. Brilliant movie. Horribly sad, yet very funny. Highly recommend.
Me: 31 DH: 32 Dating since: 11/17/2001 Married: 9/26/2009 TTC: June 2016
@BertieMeetsGertie yes I told him that! I was like a lot more women would have babies on command if we knew the exact time we would Ovulate! I could definitely go with 9:56 today though! haha And I want to see that movie so bad! Casey Affleck was featured in AmericanWay Magazine and I read it on a flight and knew I had to see it. Glad to hear it's good!!
R/R: Just trying to send positive vibes to a friend that is having a hard day today. Trying to catch up on work before I leave for vacation next Wednesday!
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? I honestly haven't watched a movie in a long time because I am obsessed with Gilmore Girls. I just started season 4 last night. H is going away this weekend so I have been dancing around the house talking about how excited I am to marathon more GG this weekend. I am already dreading the end of it because I feel like it has helped me drown out my TTC sorrows!

CS/Q:
GTKY: I'm not much of a movie watcher but I did see suicide squad and I liked it. My favorite Christmas movie is a Christmas story! My family is getting together this weekend to make leg lamp cookies and I'm excited!
@flinstone I like CBAD because my wondfos go from you're never going to O to holy shit BD right now in a day. Plus coming off mirena O has varied from cd14 to cd 21. Trying to HIO every other day for over a week becomes a chore. I like how I get a head's up that hey LH surge is coming soon. I will say make sure you read the stats on the box most people get blinking smiley faces for longer than 2 days so don't panic that somethings wrong if it takes longer to go from blinking to solid.

Me: 32 H: 32 Married: October 2009 TTC#1: August 2016
R/R: Work is finally starting to simmer down for me but ramping up for H. I have some family members who are currently pregnant and I'm a little depressed over it (mostly jealous it's not me), but also annoyed that one of them thinks no one else should be pregnant or be trying at all during HER pregnancy. So currently hoping I can make it through the holidays without throats punching someone.
CS/Q: Nothing just yet. I'm a newbie so let's see how this first cycle goes.
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? Hmmmm probably Frozen for the 50th time. Yes I like it but it also keeps the members of my family happy!
edited: on mobile and apparently my brain isn't turned on and warmed up yet. My spelling was horrible!
R/R: More snow !!! It has snowed here everyday for like 2 or 3 weeks. I'm SO over it !!! We are suppose to get a storm tonight which will screw my day. The only day I have to fill is my Sunday which is my day off. Thank god the 23rd is getting closer !!!
CS/Q: Looking like I will get CHs tomorrow which would mean I O'd on the 13th. Earliest O yet. It's usually the 16th-17th. We weren't using OPKs or checking CM or CP - taking the relaxed approach so that would mean we BD'd the three days leading up until O but missed O. I know it's still good but would be better if we hit O. I said I'm not stressing this month .... so I'm not ...... (ya frikken right) !!! Also this should have been more of a R/R but I felt like putting it here - so I did.
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? I can't even remember the last movie I watched but I watch a ton of Christmas movies and I always love them even though they are cheesy and usually very predictable.
@Flinstone Yup ! That was me ! We actually missed O because DH couldn't wake up ! But after I talked to him through the tears he finally did smarten up a bit so I let it pass because he started feeding the horses every morning after the big blow up. Sometimes I wonder if they just don't understand, reading between the lines doesn't work and we actually have to get pissed in order for it to sink in.
@JuneRoseRuby Positive vibes are the best ! Your a good friend. I hope she is holding up okay.
R/R: appointment with both doctors today: OB and psychiatrist I was super nervous about it but H and I had a really good talk last night about everything that's going on and I feel like we are on the same page now. We also have a date night tonight at one of those paint and wine places. I've always wanted to try that!

R/R: @Flinstone Similar situation to your husband -- the last two nights DH has declined any BD because he ate too much/had a stomach ache from too much dairy. Seriously? My face, both times, was literally the Justin Timberlake gif. I try really hard not to get on him because I don't want to cause performance anxiety or make it a chore, but two nights in a row? I don't want to hear, AGAIN, that you ate too much mozzarella!
CS/Q:
GTKY: Over the weekend we watched Due Date with Zach Galifianakis and Robert Downey Jr. on TV. It was OK.
@linzrunz I have been wanting to see Moana! Glad to hear it was good! GL with your appointments and yay for date night!! ETA: I like that they give you wine to paint otherwise my painting would always suck! haha.
@KariAnn323 My classroom is in a trailer, but the plus side is I can control the heat and A/C. Cranking the heat up today!
@zwink1 We were going to go see Fantastic Beasts but realized it was Black Friday and the theater would probably be a madhouse. Hoping we can see it sometime over my winter break. Is it still in theaters?!
@JulesDP YAY EWCM!!! I haven't seen any since I got off BC, so I understand how exciting this is! And glad you survived the frigid walk today
@lablover920 Yes! The cold wouldn't be so bad if the wind weren't so crazy.
@FLAshley Send some snow my way! I don't like the cold, but I'm totally okay with it if it comes with snow! (And snow days!)
WAYDTGKU: temping and vitamins/supplements for now. Starting all of the things this weekend.
R/R: It's my Friday!!! On the other hand, I am completely overly paranoid and even though I am not even in FW yet I am already convinced that I am going to screw things up and end up with crap timing. Yep, that's totally normal.
CS/Q: Still nothing to see...
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? I cannot even remember what movie I watched last. I am going to guess that means I was not entertained
@LadyMeowMeow it's freezing here too!! @Flinstone ugh that is so frustrating, I'm sorry @JuneRoseRuby been thinking about your friend, keep us updated if you can @linzrunz I loved paint and sip when I went! I'm a terrible artist but it turned out great. Have fun!
Month/Cycle: 13/13

WAYDTGKU: OPK, pre O herbs, BBT, progesterone after O
R/R: This month has had the longest lead up to my LH surge... My OPK today was so nearly positive that I marked it just in case. That's 3 days in a row of -almost- positives. Hoping tomorrow gives my normal obvious positive. Guess I'm not Oing as early as I thought, but it'll still be earlier for me if it's before CD 20!
CS/Q:
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? Hmm I can't even remember, but I can't wait to see The Girl on the Train, the book was awesome.
Good morning. I apparently have a lot to say today. I usually don't tag this much!
@ladymeowmeow@zwink1 I saw Fantastic Beasts over Thanksgiving. It was super entertaining and I enjoyed it but I didn’t like it nearly as
much as the HP films.
@flinstone I’m sorry about that fight with H. It can be so frustrating when our partners
don’t seem as dedicated to TTC as we do.
I definitely have those moments too and I can’t help but feel hurt when
I have to beg H for sex.
Regarding CBAD – They aren’t for everyone since they measure
estrogen level and then LH. I often have
a relatively high estrogen level so I might get blinking smileys for two weeks
before my LH surge. MY RE office
suggested regular CB OPKs to avoid confusion.
I also find that generic CVS brand work just fine but I like seeing the
smiley face so I use them all.
@bertiemeetsgertie I definitely want to see Manchester by
the Sea. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
@julesDP We watched Love Actually over the wknd. H had never seen the whole thing. Its such a nice movie. Did you do anything different this cycle to
get EWCM?
@jillibean0871 Wait.
What? You have a family member who thinks she should be the
only pregnant woman? Please share how
she told you this. Also Pregnant Women are Smug
@linzrunz I love the painting nights. H and I went together a couple of months ago
and he really liked it. It was right
after the election and he was feeling very angry and anxious but it had a
significant calming effect on him. Our paintings
are terrible but it was really fun.
Please share your work of art tomorrow!

R/R: I have replaced running and kickboxing with walking and using my iphone to track my steps (Santa is bringing me a fitbit for Xmas) and it stopped tracking the past couple of days. I'm so annoyed. I quick turn off, turn on seemed to fix it but I lost a lot of steps.
CS/Q: nothing to see just yet
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? We watched Fast Five last night because we have committed to watching the entire franchise. They are all so dumb but this one was especially ridiculous. Plus Vin Diesal and The Rock in the same movie is really confusing.

@Flinstone Trust me - that conversation happens with my husband more often than it doesn't. He's never been super keen on sex (we're talking like... we could 4 months without and he would be content) so when I told him how often we'd need to BD to create a baby, it blew his mind. Needless to say, I'm on CD24 and I was only able to convince him to BD ONCE this cycle.
R/R: My boss told me we need to sit down and have a talk about why things in my department aren't getting done. Why aren't they getting done, you ask? Because I can't do my job without his direction, and when he only comes in to he office once or twice a week for 2 or 3 hours at a time, it doesn't leave any time to get shit done.

GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? I think Bad Moms maybe? Maybe Suicide Squad? Either way, loved them both
@FLAshly That still sounds like great timing... Keeping my FX for you!

R/R: It's so cold here! I know it's not bad comparatively, but I love living on the coast because of the mild winters. On the plus side, it looks like DH and I might go to Cali for the holidays, instead of staying in the cold!
CS/Q: Random question - what can cause a singular really low temp? I know sleep, wine, etc. can raise your temp, but since I switched to vaginal temping, my temps have been much less rocky but I still get the odd big drop
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? I honestly can't remember. I'm sure it was some silly Christmas movie on Netflix, but I'm more of a binge on a TV show person.
WAYDTGKU: all things... trying to get in as much BD as possible as saturday is the last day we can before the SA...
R/R: we have a crack in our foundation and one of the walls is leaning in slightly so we are having foundation repair done today, I feel bad for the guys doing the work as its -5 out currently... I think we are nearly done christmas shopping but I have nothing wrapped or any where near a mail box so presents might be late this year.
CS/Q: nope, very neg OPK this morning... OK body we've had the talk you didn't want to O early this cycle so hold on to that egg and O late please.
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? for our anniversary we went to see the magical beasts movie. It was pretty good. Otherwise we rarely watch movies... I'm so far behind the times.
@beachbunnyxo123 congrats on the CH! @keriann323 those are some good raves! @BertieMeetsGertie I could go either way. with your secondary signs O looks like yesterday, but you do have a temp shift starting teusday. though teusdays temp is not out of the range of your pre-O temps... so I would probably lean towards yesterday @juneroseruby I LOVE GG! @virginiaham I responded well to lower doses.... Everyone is different. Fx for your follie scan.
@laurad75 I haven't done anything drastically different. I'm taking Mucinex -- which I have done in previous cycles -- but I started taking it in the morning (vs. late afternoon as I did in prior months). I noticed ewcm for the first time about 5/6 hours into the first dose. It's not overly abundant like some ladies; I only noticed it when checking CP. But, hey, I'll take it!

And have fun on your date night! @wabash15 thanks for the CS! My opk this morning was just a shy under positive and I had EWCM after a trip to the bathroom. Hopefully I can convince DH to HIO one last time tonight. @lulu1180 I got this in my first post, but GL with the RE today!! We're all thinking about you!

R/R: I saw a new (to me, we moved earlier this year) midwives group this morning, since I needed a well woman checkup. I really like the midwife, but she very gently but bluntly told me to lose weight so I don't have gestational diabetes. The weight is obviously something I'm aware of, I gained a bunch from stress related stuff after losing all the weight from my previous pregnancy. On the very plus side, she's being proactive about ways we can try to get an issue with my episiotomy fixed, so yay!
CS/Q: FF is confused by my temps right now. I posted it on the CS thread yesterday, but after playing with the temps, it gave me a Y axis only red CH. Which was weird. FF yelled at me this morning and said it was taking away my half CH bc it couldn't figure out my chart. I think O was yesterday, but we'll see. DH half heartedly complained about HIO after seeing our personal trainer last night, but he's totally into it.
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it?
In a theater? Moana! It was really cute. DH and I have an undying love for Disney movies, so yeah.. we liked it. At home, I've got the Martian in the DVD player, which is an awesome movie.
@wabash15 OMG I'm dying at that video. When we were in college and H would visit, I had a twin bed! He slept in the guest room though... man, that took me back!
@Flinstone I'm sorry you and DH got into a fight. TTC is stressful enough by itself, and it's worse when the guys don't necessarily get it. I hope you sit down and talk it out tonight. I'd bring a copy of your FF chart and a middle school style sex ed you tube video for props. @Breath_Easy92 Good luck at the dentist! Last visit, yay! @virginiaham FX you have good news at the monitoring appt. Don't give up yet! @Dilynne I hope you mean CD24 and not 124? @Sailing_Mama It got suppperr cold here in MD overnight. Rave: Just got an even darker positive OPK this morning and noticed very obvious EWCM, so going to try to convince DH to HIO tonight before he leaves tomorrow. It will be two days in a row and trying to be more "relaxed" this cycle, so we will see.
Rant: Woke up at 2:45am today and foolishly looked at my phone. Tossed and turned for a few hours, but I think I got some sleep in there. Not as bad as before, but the only time this week so far, so can't complain too much.
CS/Q: I am wondering if I will O on CD 12 or if really my cycle didn't move given the CP. I should have started my cycle on December 4, but had brown spotting and got my positive test. Then the red started the next day. Do you think it is more likely that I will O a cycle day earlier or if my cycle is continuing on like normal? But until I confirm O, I guess I won't know.
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it?
ETA: forgot to add response to this:
We just watched "Yes Man" with Jim Carey the other night since it was on TV. I think it is pretty funny overall.
@laurad75 actually funny story.... She was overheard on the phone screaming to her mother upon hearing the news that others were pregnant that "she was the one that wants to be pregnant and everyone knew that!" And that "after she has this baby she is just getting her tubes tied". She's a bit of a princess with this stuff. I hate to think she means any foul, but rather doesn't realize she sounds like a snotty little bitch. She and her spouse then went on the refer to my attempt to stick to my plan of TTC as "bringing on the baby fever." Which I politely reminded them that I'm 5+ years older than she is and that if I wait until everyone in the family is done reproducing that I will be somewhere around 100 years old. I'm not putting my body or my not even conceived yet child at risk b/c they don't like how close together the babies will be.
She has since backed off a bit, but I suspect this will rear its ugly head again around Christmas...
R/R: I'm sure most of you saw this in the WTF thread yesterday, or in the IF thread, but DH's SA results were not good (see siggy). I'm messaging back and forth with my OB to see if we need to schedule a urology appointment for DH. Of course there's only one urologist in Bismarck, and no REs. We don't want to do a IUI right away (like my OB suggested).
In the meantime, he's planning to quit smoking after this weekend. And, I'm pretty sure I'm going to order FH Pro for him.... which may or may not be a waste of money, but worth a shot. We had also already planned to clean up our diet soon anyway, so that can't hurt. At this point I think we'll try the smoking cessation, vitamins, less caffeine & alcohol, and better diet for 3 months, and then get a repeat SA to see where he's at.
DH isn't sure he wants to continue TTC with his impaired sperm. I think he's afraid if he got me KU the baby would have issues.... I'm not sure how valid that fear is. So, we may NTNP for a couple months.
THE GOOD NEWS: I'm glad we went ahead and had DHs SA. Now he's committed to a better lifestyle (hopefully he'll STAY committed), and we aren't pointlessly HIO like crazy every cycle without realizing that we only have a 1-3% chance.
CS/Q: Anyone have any experience with FertileAid for men or FH Pro?
GTKY: What was the last movie you watched? Did you like it? Just rewatched Groundhog Day a couple weeks ago.... We don't watch a lot of movies, we're more into series. I honestly can't remember the last time I watched a new movie and liked it.

@jess0211 Geez, I can't imagine a 3 hour meeting really being necessary or even all that productive!
@LadyMeowMeow YES this week has gone by slowly. And, DH and I are more netflix bingers than movie watchers, too.
@Flinstone hard eye-roll to your DH. I'd be so annoyed at him.
@zwink1 yay good food! And, thank you for your words of encouragement/support yesterday
@adirat uuuuuuuugh to your DH. If it were me, I'd totally be the annoying wife tonight and be like "don't eat too much for dinner, shmoopiepoo! You don't want a stomach ache like the last two nights!"
@laurad75 I hate it when my tracker stops working (or I leave it charging at home)! It's almost like the steps don't count if I don't have my tracker to document them lol.
@wabash15 EW to cracked foundation and having it repaired in -5 temps! FX your O date cooperates and waits until after the SA!

WAYDTGKU: all things possible

@Flinstone Sorry about your fight. I think the vast majority of us have had that same "discussion." As many times as we tell our H's, they sometimes just don't get that we can't possibly know when we will O (oh yes, my right ovary is telling me I will O at 9:56am on December 15th). Ridiculous!

@ladymeowmeow @zwink1 I saw Fantastic Beasts over Thanksgiving. It was super entertaining and I enjoyed it but I didn’t like it nearly as much as the HP films.
@flinstone I’m sorry about that fight with H. It can be so frustrating when our partners don’t seem as dedicated to TTC as we do. I definitely have those moments too and I can’t help but feel hurt when I have to beg H for sex.
Regarding CBAD – They aren’t for everyone since they measure estrogen level and then LH. I often have a relatively high estrogen level so I might get blinking smileys for two weeks before my LH surge. MY RE office suggested regular CB OPKs to avoid confusion. I also find that generic CVS brand work just fine but I like seeing the smiley face so I use them all.
@bertiemeetsgertie I definitely want to see Manchester by the Sea. Glad to hear you enjoyed it.
@julesDP We watched Love Actually over the wknd. H had never seen the whole thing. Its such a nice movie. Did you do anything different this cycle to get EWCM?

@linzrunz I love the painting nights. H and I went together a couple of months ago and he really liked it.
DH half heartedly complained about HIO after seeing our personal trainer last night, but he's totally into it.

R/R:
ETA: forgot to add response to this:
We just watched "Yes Man" with Jim Carey the other night since it was on TV. I think it is pretty funny overall.
She has since backed off a bit, but I suspect this will rear its ugly head again around Christmas...
Month/Cycle: 5/6
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: I dunno.... see R/R

@jess0211 Geez, I can't imagine a 3 hour meeting really being necessary or even all that productive!
