Ummm...I just cried the last 20 minutes of the movie How To Be Single. Hello, hormones.
Married: 10/13/2013
TTC #1: Mirena removed 5/26/2015; DH - normal SA, me - diagnosed with PCOS 8/4/2016 - on Metformin; BFP - 10/29/2016!!!, EDD - 7/8/2017; DD born 6/29/2017
@mvdemning sorry you are so sick - hope you get some relief. If you are throwing up a lot make sure you let your doctor know and keep hydrated. They can prescribe something for you if it is intense (hyperemesis gravidarum).
I'm still just queasy and tired. Extra tired because my milk supply for DS has dipped so he is flipping out at night because the all night buffet is no longer available. It's weird, normally my boobs get bigger as soon as I get pregnant this time they got smaller what is that?
Ummm extreme agitation and annoyance with specific people is what's got me this week. I have this friend and she is obsessed with whether we are having a boy or girl and we (dh and I) literally give no figs about this topic. Healthy, full term, baby is all we care about. She sends me 5 wives tales gender predictor emails a day. It was ramzi that sent me over the edge. I told her to knock that crap off. Grrrrr. Similiar annoyance with my Mom. Husband and sister don't seem to set me off.
@Itsnotyourturn I feel the exact same way!! For some reason with DS1, the sex seemed sooo important!! To clarify, not that he was a specific sex, just knowing seemed so important. Now, with this pregnancy, the sex is the last thing I could care about! I want healthy/happy/full term baby. I already have all my baby stuff. I'm considering going team green if DH is on board.
I've started to get nausea. Very weird for me as last pregnancy I had no nausea or morning sickness.
But it is terrible... because it seems to come with a severe aversion to the smell of my toothpaste. I've been dry heaving through tooth brushing sessions. If I actually vomit I can see this turning into a terrible terrible cycle. I just want this bit to go away.
Why, hello, painful boobs. I went out to lunch with some friends (who I haven't told yet) and while saying goodbye we hugged and I thought my boob was going to explode. They feel like someone used them as a punching bag. Potholes and speedbumps are quite fun while driving...said no one ever.

I haven't really had any symptoms the last couple days and it's freaking me out a bit. My boobs stopped hurting and I've not been as tired (but I've also been sleeping a lot better). I still have cramps from time to time and a little queasiness here and there, but nothing else. I'm 5wks 4days and had a lot more symptoms last week. I know symptoms can fluctuate, but it still freaks me out. I have my first appointment next week but it's just with a NP. My doctor's office doesn't do the early ultrasounds unless they need to date the pregnancy or suspect an ectopic. So I won't even get to try to hear the heartbeat to help ease my mind. Ugh.
Still having pretty sore boobs. Nausea creeps in if I've waited too long to eat and within the last couple days I've had some period-ish cramping. I guess that's normal? I'm 6w5d. It's not as servere as a period but sometimes I notice it.
The nausea hit tonight with a vengeance. Forgot how terrible it feels. Honestly I'm hoping I have a GI bug because I don't know if I can wait 2 more weeks until my appointment for diclegis and zofran and feel like this 24 hours a day (just going off my last pregnancy).

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
I just turned a test yesterday, so I really don't have much going on yet. I feel bad for all the ladies who are feeling it, though!
My main things so far are dull achy cramps for the past few days and pounding heart and increased heart rate. I have a Fitbit that tracks my HR. Not the most reliable, but I think it gives me a good idea of overall trends. My heart feels like it's pounding even when I'm just laying on the couch - over 100 bpm. I typically have a resting heart rate in the 70s/80s. Anyone else having a noticeably increased heart rate?

Super thirsty and food doesn't sound good all of a sudden. Also, an aversion to coffee has set in - this happened last time too, I didn't drink coffee again until post delivery. Will have to switch to black tea or something - not awesome.
I also have a cold which sucks since I can't distinguish pregnancy symptoms from feeling like crap. I only get sick once every three years or so though so I really shouldn't complain.
Have you tried Raspberry Zinger tea? I love it and hope I can drink it during the pregnancy! I am sad that it looks like I won't be able to get my Jade Citrus Mint Green Tea (with a little honey) from Starbucks though

Such sore and achy boobs! So annoying and I usually sleep on my stomach but then I feel like a need a special pillow with holes cut out for them because lying on my stomach hurts so much!!! Also none of my bras are supportive enough. Sucks! I'm and off nausea usually only if I don't eat. Huge aversion to avocados (thinking about them makes me want to gag) and pre pregnancy I used to love them!
The throwing up has joined the horrible nausea the last few days but even though it sucks it is comforting since I don't have my first u/s until the Tuesday before Thanksgiving. And bad food aversion and now very strong cravings when I do want food: specifically hummus (which I never ate before I was still a recovering Paleo person) and sushi. Sushi I had last time too
@osucma i wanted to tell you, with my first i was awake every night nauseous!!! Try eating! That helped! I would make a protein smoothy, or have cereal and it helped...
Also the gag reflex is real!!! (Sorry hubs!) try using your finger? Or mouth wash? I used to brush, throw up and then swish... my teeth were clean, and the mouth wash took care of the smell! :-)
Started TTC in 2006, LOTS of trying, and trying, and 7 rounds of IVF with 13 embryos, 2 perfect little boys and 5 loses.... All finished with babies, started to make diet changes, Keto, to be MORE for my kids, lost 30 pounds, still going, and 3 months in, I had a natural cycle, and then ovulated... Hubs and I are going to see what happens now... Maybe a natural pregnancy? After everything we have been through? Or just a return to normal hormones? We shall see what the future holds!

Yes! I wear a Fitbit HR everyday and my normal resting was in the upper 50s, and now it's mid to high 60s.
Woof, I don't know if it's the transition to Week 5 or the progesterone supplements or both, but I feel like I've gone zero to a hundred. Just now, I was taking a nap, which I needed despite going to bed before 9 last night and drinking more tea than usual, and when I turned over, I went from pleasant half-sleep to "OMG I'm about to barf." I didn't, but I am not feeling so hot.

As of this morning, I have developed an aversion to eggs. Ugggggh, they used to be my favorite breakfast food and now my stomach turns just thinking about them.
So that's fun. I made this wonderful breakfast (chicken sausage, homemade waffles, eggs with goat cheese). I couldn't finish it because it was making me nauseated. Now I can't even look at it. The eggs. I LOVE goat cheese, which make me sad.

I feel for you ladies who have constant / almost constant nausea. I don't have that YET but I did have a night where DH sprayed some air freshener and I ran to the bathroom because the smell turned my stomach. Then I used to love A&W root beer but I took a sip of DH's when he got it and I thought for sure I was going to throw up in the car. That has been it so far for the nausea.
Although, it seems like my hair is getting oily faster than it used to. I used to be able to get away with washing my hair every other day but now I have to wash it every day and if I wash it in the morning, it seems like by the evening it's oily again Sigh...

@satsumasandlemons - I had some spotting and I believe a few of the other ladies in here did too. From what the general consensus (and by what my doctor's office said) is that spotting is usually normal and to keep an eye on it and if it becomes heavier then call your doctor. Is there a lot of bleeding / spotting or is it only when you wipe?

@SaphireSweetie88 not much mostly when I wipe and I see it in the toilet - it's definitely more than yesterday and the day before which, paired with a slight back ache (typical cramping for me) gets me so nervous. I know it's early so it may just be what it is. Trying to stay optimistic.
Add on the crazy emotions for me! I am not normally one to get teary-eyed during movies but I definitely did today while watching The Hunger Games. I am also constantly running an inner crab dialog in my head.
So just wondering if anyone else has had this. I am still quite early (5+2) but the last 2 days I have been getting quick, sharp pains in my belly button. Kinda feels like if you pulled a muscle. It doesn't last long, but it keeps happening on and off, and just concerned. Others?
Super emotional and irritable. Poor DH can't do anything right. I go from nauseated to wanting to eat everything within minutes. Boobs are killing me. Uterus is achy...I do not want anything touching my stomach and trying to suck in the bloat is not an option so maternity pants have been brought out. Back is still keeping me up at night hurting. This pregnancy is sooooo different from my last!

@satsumasandlemons - Would you say it's enough to fill a pad / make you change a pad every few hours? If so, I'd go to the doctor / ER to get checked out. When I called my doctor about the bleeding I had (before I saw the red) they said if it got to the point where I filled / could fill a pad, that I should go to the ER if the doctor's office wasn't open at the time.
FX for a sticky bean for you!
