WAYDTGKU: sex, pnv, temping, vitamin D, and my first ever opks yesterday and today (I have never needed them to get good timing before, but accidentally bought them thinking they were hpts LAST year when I started ttc and didn't know the difference - in my defense, the package is not in English, and I had JUST moved to the country I live in now...) the time change and a restless night happened on the worst day in my cycle, so I pulled them out of the back of my cupboard.

R/R: no temp spike yet I think I might have O'd overnight or this morning...we'll see with tomorrow's temp. I'm kinda bummed because I wanted to be on the earlier end of my normal O (I'm usually 16/17)

CS/Q: not today.

GTKY: what was your favourite hallowe'en cosume that you've ever worn? Childhood: Laura Ingalls costume my grandma made - I collected candy in a cute little pail. Teenaged: Jr. Asparagus in a Veggie Tales group costume.

R/R: I just feel lucky to have such a hard working and caring DH. I feel bad that O is so hard to predict this month and I told him I don't want him feeling used and having to keep DTD on demand. He said he doesn't care and has really been a trooper.

CS/Q: Am I the only one who sleeps like crap around O? I swear it's the hormones for me. This is two days in a row with insomnia and like 3 days this week where it took like FOUR hours to fall asleep. Any input is appreciated. In past cycles, aside from last month, O was easy to see and my temp spike averaged about .6! Of course that isn't the case now that we've gotten serious.

I was a very convincing witch one year as a kid since I had fallen down the stairs and broken my nose. As an adult, I got a teacher scholarship to go to Space Camp and my students loved the personalized astronaut space suit they gave me.

R/R: Well its Monday...so this r/r could go either way heh

CS/Q: This is my first month temping but I don't know if I'm doing it right. FF gave me crosshairs on CD9 but not til this morning and my OPKs have been negative... Will FF move the crosshairs if temps change later? I'm a strict 28 day cycle kinda girl so O on CD 9 seems unlikely to me... 

GTKY: Generally I don't like Halloween but a few years a go DH and I went as the zombie version of a couple that had a party that year. We got super into it and completely made our costumes and it was really fun

@dmt929 Yes, CH can move, especially if temps line up with CM and OPKs.

@dmt929 FF usually doesn't give CH until at least 3 days afterwards  (so cd12 from cd9 makes sense). FF will definitely move/take out the CH if your future data suggests it was wrong. A saying around here is "you're regular til you're not", so it's *possible* you're not a 28 day cycle girl on this cycle, BUT I wouldn't recommend stopping HIO if you're not 100% confident that you did actually O already. That would suck to stop because FF told you to and then in a few days have crap timing for real O if it hasn't actually happened yet!

@NYTino24 man, that spike/fall/spike is confusing... what are your normal post-O temps or can you compare month to month? (ie: do you think it *can* jump up from it's current temp, or is it nearly at your max anyways? I do my temps in Celsius, so my question might actually be ridiculous and imply that you would be getting fever-like temps post-O and I just don't know that's what I'm saying haha)

@Buthayna I still have room for temp to rise according to past cycles. This is chart selection for start of cycle, not pinned at O or coverline. If my temp goes up tomorrow, even a little, I get solid CH for CD 18.

R/R: I was really hoping I might O earlier this month but I'm still not even close. Rant & Rave. It's Halloween so my first graders are going to be wild all day. Also, my IL got my SIL sick (who's an ER doctor and has a strong immune system) so it's just matter of time.  I'm predicting this weekend just in time for my races. 

CS/Q:  to go along with above, I'm thinking about trying Mucinex since it'll prob help with the cold I'm I'm going to get. So talk to me about it (I tried to search but just kept getting all the times it showed up in the WAYDTGKU. ). Which Mucinex should I get, when should I start taking it and about how long before BD? (If I get my +OPK right before the weekend, then we can BD whenever but if it's during the week, it has to be around 2:30am)

when I was little I loved my rainbow brite costume.  As an adult, I love dressing up as Sadness with my Inside Out group this year

BUT TODAY IS HALLOWEEN AND I AM SO EXCITED TO HAVE LIL MONSTERS SHOW UP AT MY HOUSE AND BE SPOOKED! (yes, I needed to yell this. I am way too excited!)

R/R: My IUI is scheduled for 1 pm today so I'm kinda anxious but excited.  I feel like most women here don't have much luck with their first IUI but for now I'm optimistic.

@KhRun17  Ugh I hate how dark it is too. I get up at 5:30 and it's pitch black. I hate when I wake up before my alarm and have no idea if it's the middle of the night or time to get up.

R/R: Really busy weekend skydiving, two Halloween parties, and then stripping paint off our built in cabinets to try and restore them to their 1800's glory. Rave-I got all the paint off the original 1800's hardware, Rant-I got the rust stains on my shirt this morning before I left for work and I didn't see it  until I got to work...boo. 

CS/Q: I had a huge dip in temps last night, but this would be the earliest I have ever O'd if so. 

GTKY: what was your favorite Halloween costume that you've ever worn? 6-7 years ago, when David Letterman had that affair with his intern, my H dressed up like David and I was the intern. It was pretty funny because he looked spot on. 

@NYTino24 I don't typically notice any difference around the time I O, but of course I woke up in the middle of last night, wide awake and I should O within a few days now. 
@purplg8r @KHrun17 I have  been taking the regular Mucinex, during the days leading up to O to loosen CM and make it watery-er so hopefully H's swimmers can zoom right up to my ovaries. I am actually not sure if I am even taking it at the right times, but it seems like it works quickly to loosen mucus when I am sick. I know a lot of women that have taken it and RE's that have recommended it and I have had it on hand, so I just pop them twice per day.

R/R:   We had a good weekend.  We were able to HIO a lot and I think O was yesterday.  My chart looks terrible and I have no idea what is going on with my temps.  Oh well I guess.

I've been MIA for a few days.  I took the Bump and Facebook off of my phone because I was wasting so much time on them and it was starting to cause fights with DH and I and taking time away from DS so I can only get on from a computer and I just haven't had time lately. But... now I'm back at work so I'll waste all the time I can

R/R: Rant: DS literally slept from 9pm-11:15pm and that's it.  Not a second more all.night.long. Also, really REALLY hoping I O sooner this cycle.  Otherwise, DH will be out of town and we won't be able to hit a single day in my FW and it will be a wasted (super long) cycle.  Rave: DH took off tonight so he can go trick or treating with us! And only a couple more weeks and he will be back on days! 

CS/Q: Nope.  Temp is screwy from last night because of my rant.  But surprisingly it's not as high as I expected. 

GTKY: what was your favorite Halloween costume that you've ever worn? (pics if you want!)  Um... I'm not a dress up type of girl.  In college me and a couple friends dressed up as the flintstones but that's all that comes to mind.

@dmt929 FF will change your CHs if your temps/OPKs/CM line up to show you O'd later.  It's given them and taken them from me a lot. It can be really frustrating!
@purplg8r I am hoping for an earlier O this cycle as well.  Otherwise DH will be out of town for the week and we will completely miss my FW.  FX you don't get sick! It's always at the worst times. Of course... is there ever really a good time to be sick?

@NYTino24 Your chart is so confusing! I don't routinely have sleep issues around O but it seems like there's always an issue. I sleep crappy, or DH or DD2 wake me up, or I wake up 2 hours early needing to pee. So I empathize with the questionable data. 
@kiwi2628 We bought our house three years ago and I was so sad to find out no one trick or treats in our neighborhood. The houses are too far apart in a town that has tons of townhouse neighborhoods. I miss having trick or treaters.

@JuneRoseRuby Restoring your built-ins sounds like a huge project but I bet it'll be gorgeous when it's done. DH and I were just lamenting the stained wood trim our old apartment had; so much nicer than painted.

GTKY: I don't remember a lot of my costumes when I was a kid but one year my mom made me a crayon box. I wore a cardboard box and we painted crayons onto it. It was pretty cool.

R/R:  Rant: its CD 3. Rave: AF has been so light, with no cramps (only day I had cramps was Friday, the day before she showed up). It's been like this the last couple cycles. Rant: I'm obvs wondering if this is normal, and being a bit paranoid. If it's not one thing to worry about, it's another. 

CS/Q: Where do you all keep your thermometer? Night stand? Under pillow? It's been on my nightstand, but we keep our bedroom pretty cool. I put it under my pillow for one temp last cycle, and I had the highest temp I've ever had. Ive read mixed reviews on where to keep it, and if it makes a difference.

In university my friend and I dressed up as Poodle girls. We bought our costumes off eBay, and they weren't cheap. I had high hopes for keeping it in great condition to wear again, but the copious amount of alcohol I consumed that night had other plans for that costume.

@Ohemgee AF was really light for me, really limited cramps, pretty much since DD2. And I was wondering if that would be problematic too. But she got back to her old self again this cycle, so I'm keeping my FX that's a good sign. And I keep my thermometer in a drawer in my nightstand where it's safe from marauding cats.

R/R: Had to be at the RE at 7:30 this morning for blood work for my hysteroscope tomorrow morning.  I'm nervous and anxious but thankfully they give me meds to help with all that.  I'm really hoping everything is clear and we can move forward with an honest-to-goodness plan.

CS/Q: Temping this cycle even though I don't have any confidence that my body will get it's collective shit together and O without medication.

GTKY: what was your favourite hallowe'en cosume that you've ever worn? (pics if you want!) H and I were Bob Ross and his Happy Tree this weekend.  I have been obsessed with Bob Ross since I was a kid so it's my fav costume ever ever ever.

R/R: I feel like shit. I feel like my period is coming and has been on it's way for a good week. Took a test this morning, although it's still kind of early. I think maybe I saw something, but it may also be in my head. I will wait it out a few more days. I have no idea what my cycle is, because I just finally got a period back.

I don't know if I have a favorite, but our street did a little trick or treating on Saturday and we went as baristas and a frappachino. Super cheap, super easy and super cheap!

R/R: I started really reading It Starts With the Egg (rather than just skipping to what to do) and bought phthalate free shampoo, conditioner, body wash, chap stick, and lotion yesterday. Thought I got the right face wash, too but I didn't. Hopefully it helps. I feel like I'm kind of grasping at straws.

CS/Q: none

GTKY: We had a lot of awesome costumes my mom made. I went as Puss in Boots a once and that was a pretty good one. Then when I was about 18 or 19 I made a Tenderheart Bear shirt and sewed some ears onto a headband and went trick or treating solo (scored a good amount of candy, too!). Then I snuck into a bar for their Halloween party because I liked the band that was playing. It was an excellent night!

WAYDTGKU: most of the stuff, HIO, feeling bad for not eating as well as I should....

R/R: I'm begrudgingly part of a group FB Messenger message for this year's town Christmas play. I understand that a group message is the most efficient way to keep everyone in the loop for practice schedules, etc. But everyone sends completely and utterly pointless, random messages. This morning, at 6am, one of the cast members thought it was necessary to tell everyone "happy halloween," at one point a cast member actually asked what everyone was eating for dinner, and everyone feels the need to respond to EVERYTHING with a thumbs up. It would be one thing (but still super annoying) if we were all close friends, but I don't even know the names of all the cast members. So, I've been trapped in group message hell with my messenger pinging every.other.second. for absolutely no good reason. Thank god for the "mute notifications" option. 

CS/Q: More of an observation/statement: Got a blaring positive OPK on CD15, have been all crampy for days, but haven't observed anything but super watery CM. WTF body. Oh wells. 

GTKY: what was your favourite hallowe'en cosume that you've ever worn? I felt pretty bad ass when I dressed up as Laura Croft, Tomb Raider in college

@Kiki75 I switched to all  crunchy shampoos, conditioner, body washes, face washes, lotions, make up...  probably about a year ago. I like it all. If  you are looking for make up-I like the physicians formula  organics for face stuff and I like the Pacifica brand of mascara.
