Opinions please!

I have a 9 year old DD named Ryann Olivia (pronounced just like Ryan). I'm pregnant again after years of trying. Tell me what you think about my top two choices for names. I'm also open to suggestions. I just like names that aren't in the top 100 and as you can see I like unisex names.

For a girl:
Brynn Iris

For a boy:
Dean Adam
(Bennett Adam is 2nd right now)

TIA!

Re: Opinions please!

  • I love Brynn and I'm biased to Ryan for a girl (that's my middle daughters name which was my maiden name). Great choices!

For a boy Dean isn't my style but I have no problem with it and it goes well with your daughters name.
  • I like them.

  • No to Brynn but yes to Dean.
  • Congrats! I think Brynn goes great with Ryann and I like Dean better than Bennett.

  • I think Brynn is too matchy with Ryann but love dean

  • Dean is fine, Brynn is too matchy.
  • I like Dean Adam.. Brynn is too matchy for me.. Suggesting:

    Peyton
    Teagan
    Darcy
    Sage
    Marley
    Reese
    Quincy or Quinn
    Casey

I tried to stick with your preferences :)

  • I don't mind that Brynn matches Ryann. Thank you for the suggestions.

  • I love the name Dean. I like the name Brynn as well.

    Suggesting...
    Cameron
    Jordan
Alex (I like this one, because you could do "Alexander" for a boy and "Alexandra" for a girl and have a unisex nickname)
    Ainsley
    Quinn
    Parker
    Harper
  • Very nice! I also love Quinn. Seems like your style too.
  • I agree that Brynn is too matchy with Ryann. What about just Bryn?

Dean is a nice name and not overused.
  • dean is nice
    brynn is ok
  • OP, just wanted to say huge congratulations!! Am I remembering you correctly from the secondary IF board?!
  • I do like both.. but I don't LOVE the flow of Dean Adam. But I am assuming that Adam has some sort of significance, so that may trump the flow issue!
  • Thumbs up from me!

Adam is my grandpa's middle name. My daughter has my grandma's middle name. Thanks a bunch!

Quinn seems like a good alternative. Brynn is realllyyyyy matchy with Ryann, though I like the name well enough.

    Congratulations!
