It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • @TinyTurtle that was so sneaky of her! I'd say my CM tends to be more towards EWCM after DTD, but it can't be trusted for many hours after since it may still be "leftovers".
@purplg8r I think CM varies by person and each individual cycle. It can be affected by many things like medication and hydration. Some women rarely / never get EWCM. The problem with tracking it is there isn't really a measurement - what is "a lot" is relative. I know it took a while off BCP to notice.

  • @hqinmd - well, the thing is, both gave me negative in the morning. Then Wondfo I did in the afternoon and got a positive, then this morning both were positive... So negative for yesterday and positive for today you think?

  • @darkrose88 Oh that's a good question about the VIP version of FF. I'm also using the free version and have wondered that many times. Hoping someone answers this!
  • @darkrose88 @Sailing_Mama TBH I had the 30 day free trial of VIP and then just paid for it on a CD1 where I just needed to feel like I was doing something proactive. I would google to see if you could get the free trial and see if you like the extras and if they are worth it to you. I love the gallery and extra analysis but do not use the community boards. because NO NEW FRIENDS, I have my board thank you very much.

  • **lurking** @KhRun17  I would mark all the positives and I usually put the wondfo under OPK in FF and the CB in Monitor/Advanced OPK you'll see there is an option for "peak" there. FX for you!

@haylsbayls we've been in our home 3 years and done almost nothing so I'm so excited! As for the OPK question, I've seen some people who say that hydration doesn't make a difference. But the. There are some who never turn a positive at all. So hard to say. But i would think even with drinking a lot of water you'll probably get close to a positive though you may not get exactly there. I've had really clear positives two months and I'm trying to drink more water, so I guess I'll see soon.
  • @RunRestRepeat those times for using the OPK's should be good. I usually test once a day but I have a longer surge, for ladies with a shorter surge testing in the PM/afternoon is helpful since that is often when your surge starts. (Ala @khrun17 who had a neg OPK yesterday AM but positive in the PM) once you see how you do you may be able to cut it back to once a day. GL!
@haylsbayls if your urine is super dilute it may make it harder to turn a stick. I think several of the ladies here have recommended a 3-4 hour hold before testing, so maybe something to try if your not turning tests. I also drink a lot of water and have not had problems turning a test.

  • @haylsbayls, I've only been using OPK's for one cycle, but I drink at least a gallon of water every day- it had no trouble picking up my surge. I think you'll be fine as long as you're not chugging water right before bed.

I'm new to WTO- just came over from TWW. I won't technically have stats for a few days, AF is just starting, but I'll post them anyway. DH and I have been NTNP for a month, and officially ttc starting in November.

    Month/Cycle: 1/1

    CD: 28

WAYDTGKU: OPK's and temping- November will be our first real ttc cycle but I started temping and testing last month to get an idea of when I actually O.

    R/R: Fri-Yay! I have no halloween plans

CS/Q: using FF and so far no questions. I also have pretty epic fallback rise it seems:

GTKY: When was the last time you had an aha / mind-blown moment? I honestly don't remember the last time I had my mind blown, if I think of it I'll edit.

  • @hqinmd oh I must have missed it! I did a search but couldn't find anything new on it. And LOL, not a bad idea to buy it and jinx myself.

@WillRunForWine21 good idea about finding a trial.
  • @darkrose88 I think only one person replied to me anyway so it was worth asking again.
@Aurora1973 I keep meaning to ask, if you don't mind, why are you and DH apart so much? My H used to be gone 3 nights a week (or more) for work. For months. Got used to it after a while.
  • @hqinmd  @wabash15  @sheknows6  thanks ladies!!
