Pregnant after IF

hip pain / cramps

Has anyone experienced hip pain / cramping early on? I am 7w3d and having joint pain around my hips (especially in the morning).... also some cramping (almost feels more like a pulled muscle) from my hips down - can be strong but doesn't last..... what us this? Could it just be ligaments stretching? Any kind of discomfort freaks me out!!

Re: hip pain / cramps

  • I had what could only be described as Round Ligament Pain very early. Check in with your doc, but it seems like some of us get the aches earlier than others. Hugs!

  • As previous posters have said sounds exactly like round ligament pain . I had it early on and still get it . It's alarming at first especially when you don't know what it is but totally normal !! Early cramping from what I've heard is pretty common

  • With some of my weird cramps, the doc had me drink a ton of water (like, three cups) and then lay down on my side for a while. It helped a bit. I didn't know this, but dehydration can cause cramping so make sure you are getting enough water for sure!
