This was a long week! For reals. DH and I even went away Tues-Wed one night to celebrate our anniversary, first night away together from DS. It was fabulous and so relaxing...And the week still felt longer than normal! Tomorrow I'm going on a cruise on the Hudson as a prize for doing awesome in my home business Super excited!

I love this show too! I am watching season 15 so I don't think it's the new season. I'm watching it on Netflix. My DH watches Sons of Anarchy but I could never really get into it.

@lizrunz Fun fact: short haired Jax looks just like my little bro. Was so weird to binge watch this show for that reason, but DH and I loved it anyways. We stopped watching in season 6 or so though since it started to get a bit repetitive after a while.

@linzrunz Not gonna lie, I've never been a huge fan of longer hair on dudes so I was pleasantly surprised when Jax chopped his! I'm married to a military guy now so that probably just helps to reinforce the love of shorter hair....

At the moment, DH, the pup, and I are all chilling together watching a documentary about arctic animals. You know, because we obviously can't get enough of winter here in AK.

later, will be: skyping my family later, going out to a Bible study this evening (making banana cake soon for it)

I'm sorry I missed the Friday night party. We had Chipotle and caught up on the dvr last night. Phone was too far away...

Today is busy... 5k this AM to be edit cystic fibrosis care started by a family of a little boy my sister taught. My whole family will be there which is fun and the. I have a picnic at the school I work at. Tomorrow will be all about chores and football

I haven't posted at all this week.  Could be that it's sort of vacation for me but it's probably more that I've just really given up on doing all of this stuff.  I should O in the next few days so maybe we will fit in some sex.  

I love SOA and Law &Order SVU....I could use a binge session!

@leekat14 - I have been binge watching SVU a lot lately because DH has been gone at night so I have nothing else to do but binge watch and feel like a stalker on TB lol

@SaphireSweetie88 My H works nights so he's gone in the evenings too. I watch shows like that and then regret it because as soon as I turn it off to go to bed I hear things!! I had to switch to something more lighthearted. Haha

@linzrunz - I hear you on that one. I'm usually fine because I can blame any noise on my cat (poor kitty). Although, the other night I called DH and made him talk to me on the phone for at least 15 minutes because I was in the basement doing laundry and couldn't finish folding the clothes in the dryer because I swear I felt like I was being watched. I refused to go back in the basement for the rest of the night haha

@SaphireSweetie88 I've done similar things! I called H and told him I heard someone outside the house. We had just moved and I was freaking out more than usual.  "Oh don't worry honey. It's probably just a bear." Uh what??? Turns out he was right. We live in the mountains and bear sightings are common. I've named him Yogi.

Also went food shopping because I'm making a whole bunch of recipes out of Chrissy Tiegan's cravings cook book tomorrow - meatloaf, hasselback potatoes and crab wontons! I half drunkenly invited my family for dinner tomorrow and they all jumped on the idea. Football will be on so it should be fun/relaxing. 

Would have been on here with ya'll last night if I didn't pass out on the couch so early haha

My SIL is throwing a first birthday for our sweet nephew. It's supposed to start at (now), but I'm too lazy to walk over there right this minute. I'm just going to wait until H comes and gets me, and feign that I lost track of time. 

Also, I just painted my nails and of course now I feel like I have to pee like a race horse. Murphy's law. 

Other than that it's a low key weekend here. Tomorrow H and I will probably just hang at home and be lazy. I'm hoping I can convince him to do some things around the house I've been bugging him to do for weeks now. Why is it that they procrastinate to the max when it comes to chores that won't take long at all? 

@linzrunz NBD but Jax is totally my MCM all Monday's for life lol. But I love the long hair!!

@mrsdaddario I'm totally jumping on that train. We can start the MCM thread on Monday and just spam pictures of him. He's still gorgeous with the short hair, but that long hair just added to the bad boy/rebellious image. Also, even though it's not UO Thursday... I totally dig man buns. 

But if he brings back that pointy beard beard thing he had going on in Season 3... just no. Please don't. I can appreciate a beard. But don't make it pointy.

My DH is at a retreat this weekend with his college accapella group. So I am home with the dog. We are binge watching Gilmore Girls for the thousandth time.  But there is a crazy thing going on next door. I live in a row of town homes and the guy to the left is the official owner of the only driveway.  We are allowed to drive on it but they are in charge of it. Well the house on the other side of the driveway is getting painted, and they needed access to that driveway. So somehow in return for allowing a single ladder on the edge of the driveway, he convinced the painters to paint all the windows on the town home. He's nuts! This summer he tried to steal my landscapers shears from our yard!

@SaphireSweetie88 Nothing wrong with a Jax binge.  DH thinks it is crazy that I start watching from season 1 all the time.  I could watch it all day everyday!

I was really excited that my husband wasn't on call tomorrow and we would actually get to spend some time together but he picked up extra work.  There has been 1 night in the last week that he has made it home before I went to bed.  He told me he would be home early tonight (between 8-9, which is long after our son goes to bed) and that we can have breakfast together in the morning, as long as we get up early so he can leave by 730 at the latest.  I miss him... And so does our boy.  It's our anniversary on Tuesday and I am pretty sure I won't see him for more than a kiss goodnight.  

ETA: sorry to be so weepy, I'm pretty bummed,  on a bright note it's a beautiful day and we got out for a nice walk with a friend I haven't seen in a long time.

It was a bit of a rough week, at moments. This weekend is definitely a lazy weekend, which I definitely appreciated. I did get a much needed massage this morning, so that was nice.

 It's strange that sometimes I am bummed we do not do a lot on the weekends, but at the same time, I am so exhausted, I just want to lie around. 

Also, Fall is definitely here (from a date and weather stand point. I definitely love the cooler weather during the day, but the nights are getting so cold!

I had a really crazy dream last night that involved DH and I taking guardianship of my 7 younger siblings (I really only have 2). Also all of them (and me) were half black (I'm not). And in my dream DH and I had a fight and we were talking about a divorce. We've literally have never had a fight. One of us might get angry but we're both good at just trying to fix the problem instead of blowing up over it. My parents are getting divorced after almost 24 years of marriage and my mom had her mandated parenting class this weekend so I think that's were it's all from but so weird...

Anyway, yesterday was just errands and tv. Today DH is supposed to be making an early breakfast because he wants us to go to the driving range to hit golf balls but it's 7:40 and he's not even up yet (he wanted to be up at 7). I also have 2 papers to write for my MBA classes.

@slavenski. Weird dream!  Don't even get me started on when the menfolk say they WANT TO get up/do vs. when they actually are ready to face the world.  Lol

@BusinessWife We ended up going to Starbucks for breakfast instead of him actually making bacon and eggs so while I love caramel lattes, I also love bacon and eggs.
