@swimsister hey girl! Glad to see you over here! To answer your question, typically a positive OPK means you will O within the next 48 hours. Did you take another test on CD13/CD14 that was negative? That could be why FF is saying you O'd on CD12.
@Zoey1019 Unfortunately, I think you're totally right. And then she says she appreciates ppl bringing the snark when needed.... I say... <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/rc/mmfp7q9ouk10.gif" alt="">
Also, don't be swayed by that whole, "for today, I am pregnant," crap sob story. If someone had a confusing situation like they were spotting but had a positive test, how about you PM one of your besties and run it by her, before blowing up the TWW??? Maybe? No? Okay then.
@swimsister try putting in a higher temp for tomorrow. Does FF change it? FF did that exact thing to me today. It says I O'ed on Cd17 (the day I got my first positive OPK), but a high temp tomorrow moves it to CD18-which coincides with the rest of my signs.
Also, my temp dropped to my coverline and I'm cramping like a boss. I don't think I'll make it to Monday. But I hope there are a lot of BFPs (not posted here) out of the bunch!

@Seriouslysirius Sounds like a great trip I've never seen a chart like yours in the LP before, but with the spike today, I definitely would have given into the BSC. Good for you staying away from it.

Month/Cycle: 4/4
CD/DPO: CD24/7dpo
Timing: 0, -1, -3
Testing: Monday partayyyy
R/R: Well, I haven't started spotting yet (which started at 6dpo every cycle I've charted so far), so that's a good thing! I hope my LP is lengthening with the B vitamins and elimination of soy foods.
I saw my gynecologist yesterday, and she was concerned about my low progesterone blood test at 8dpo last cycle. We talked about progesterone supplementation, and she suggested that if it isn't this cycle (she's more hopeful than I am, ha) I come in for an ultrasound around CD10 to see what my ovaries look like given my serious (and uneven) ovulation pain. This should show whether I have endometriomas on my ovaries causing the pain. At that point we can decide about next steps, likely including an AMH check, an HSG, and an SA for my husband. (I mentioned this to him and he got really pale, but he eventually said he would do it, so...) It's nice that she took my pain and short LPs seriously and has some next steps for me in the next few months.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What three words would your DH/SO use to describe you?
He recently described me to someone as "smart but also a smartass" so something along those lines. I'm rolling my eyes as I type this.
@krys My LP was slightly longer last cycle and I O'd 3 days earlier than usual this time. So, we might be decent anecdotal evidence for the case for B6.
@adirat I guessss I could be mistaken but I am like 99.9% sure that endo doesn't show up on an ultrasound. The only way to diagnose that I believe is to do a lap.
What a rough TTC day for most of us! Hugs to everyone who is having a hard day.
I'm just popping in to share with everyone who is struggling with/worried about short LP. While I'm completely bummed and tearful that today is CD1 for me, I am happy to report that I made it through 12DPO this cycle. My last two cycles were 10 and 11. This is purely my experience, and anecdotal, but going back to acupuncture did help. I've been taking B6 as well, although my acupuncturist just put me on an herbal supplement that has a more bio-available B6, as well as other herbs that are meant to improve progesterone. She said that the P5P version is absorbed much better.
So for @ahrains, @adirat, @krys, and anyone else who is struggling, I think acupuncture, especially from someone who specializes in fertility, is worth a shot. FX you find something that works!

Also, don't be swayed by that whole, "for today, I am pregnant," crap sob story. If someone had a confusing situation like they were spotting but had a positive test, how about you PM one of your besties and run it by her, before blowing up the TWW??? Maybe? No? Okay then.
She 100% knew better and posted it anyway.
@swimsister try putting in a higher temp for tomorrow. Does FF change it? FF did that exact thing to me today. It says I O'ed on Cd17 (the day I got my first positive OPK), but a high temp tomorrow moves it to CD18-which coincides with the rest of my signs.
Also, @BusinessWife ❤️❤️❤️❤️

R/R: Im really excited about my timing this month. My temps seemed to be all over the place before I O'd and I wasnt sure I would get the solid CH. Last month, I mis-read some of my temps, and we ended up not having the best timing, and I was super bummed.

GTKY: What three words would your DH/SO use to describe you?
I wasn't sure so I asked him and he said intelligent, beautiful, and sane. I thought "sane" was a little weird to say, but apparently last night his professor told the class you can never find a person who is all three of those things. Apparently I'm one of a kind lol
CD/DPO: 25/10
Timing: good
Testing: maybe?? not yet though
R/R: So this is the LONGEST I've ever made it in the DPO category. I've been as short as 5 days, but not longer than 7. So stoked that the B6 seems to be helping. I'm also ovulating earlier in my cycle. #boom I am trying not to get too excited or think it's something more than be being more "normal".

@jennyV56 yay for the new house! I am hoping I get that feeling soon. Also I loooove pinterest
@bornmommy as it's already been said this was SERIOUSLY not the place to post your BFP. What made you think that way okay to do? Think about how you would have felt if you were one of us with BFNs having to see that...

CS/Q: I have no idea what my chart is doing. I wasn't going to test today since my temps have been going down on 11,12 and 13 DPO. But then it went up today when I expected it to fall below cover and AF start. But nothing so far. 2 bfn's a temp that went up and no period and the spotting I've been having is gone. At this point I'm pretty confident I'm not KU and just want AF to start so I can just start the next cycle...

GTKY: What three words would your DH/SO use to describe you?
I actually had just asked him this question the other night, he said "beautiful, smart, kind" pretty run of the mill but I'll take it he does use those terms to describe me quite often so I think he means it

hmmm I think he would probably say beautiful, funny, and smart
ETA: wow a BFP announcement from a regular in the TWW thread.... Not cool @bornmommy
@bornmommy You should know better than to post a BFP in the TWW. This is hurtful and disrespectful to those that got a BFN or are just having a rough TTC day. I'm with everyone else that both the mention of the BFP and the CS gets taken down. For the record, your TW is not enough because those that see it think you may be mentioning a friend and not talking about yourself. And you may not even want to post in the grad thread at this point.

@furbabymom2007 Sorry for BFN I was really pulling for you.
@Krys So happy your LP is lengthening! I'm tentatively thinking mine might be too since I haven't started spotting yet so I know the joy! Yay for you!
@Seriouslysirius Sounds like a great trip I've never seen a chart like yours in the LP before, but with the spike today, I definitely would have given into the BSC. Good for you staying away from it.
Also, so much drama in TWW today and yesterday! What is happening? I feel like I need a "slowly backing away" gif in my back pocket now...
