Upcoming appointments? September 16th- Vag exams shall commence. Whoa!
Rants/Raves/Questions? Bummed that most of my showers are so late. I still have three more to go and the last one's not until Sept 11th. I want to start buying all the things, but I know I shouldn't. Ugh, so frustrating!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Lots of lower back and tailbone pain, especially toward the end of the night. By the time DH and I go to bed, I can hardly walk!
GTKY: What did you want to be when you were a little kid growing up? I wanted to be a stunt car driver.

Not until September 16th- My OB is on vacation for a week- I am actually surprised It's a full month away from my last appointment and I have a condition. I see the MFM doctor for another ultrasound on September 20th. But I guess there isn't much they can do anyway, my BP has been fine, they can't do a cervical check, and I've had so many ultrasounds they know LO is measuring good.
Rants/Raves/Questions?
I need to talk more about having my tubes tied during my c section- see if it makes recovery any different. I really didn't ask many questions when my OB asked me about it.

Carbs lol. I opened a tub of arugula which I have been eating for the past 4 days in a row and almost puked from the smell.

Honestly, I don't even know if I ever knew what I wanted to be. I do remember lip syncing on long card rides and thinking we might drive by someone who would "discover me"....for lip synching?! I had a vivid imagination.

I wanted to be a Forensic Investigator. And then chemistry happened.

Upcoming appointments? Thursday - doing weekly appointments now. They're going to check my blood again to see how my anemia is and "officially" schedule the C-section!
Rants/Raves/Questions? @serenaxo84 - I'm having my tubes tied during my C-section and from what my doctor has told me, the recovery is the same. I also have a couple of friends who have done the same and they agree. Which is refreshing to hear!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? The symptoms for this week are dead on...I have to pee ALL the time and I am feeling contractions more and more. Kind of cool to think baby is pretty much done growing, now she'll just get chunkier

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm not too close to SO's family (mostly because he isn't), and they are having a small shower for him next saturday. I am super nervous to go. None of my friends, or family members will be attending since 1. They just had a surprise shower for us not too long ago and 2. they've heard all the horrible stories. I'm praying everything goes smoothly and drama free
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I've been craving Ice lately. I have to find out if its okay to eat ice since my mom feels like im about to kill my baby every time she sees me eat one (which is not all the time by the way). Might be a hispanic old wives tale lol

Rants/Raves/Questions? Four more weeks of work and it CANNOT come fast enough. I've been really frustrated with how my colleagues are behaving about my leave, like as if I'm somehow screwing everyone over. It's not my fault, I gave notice to HR back in March so there has been ample time to plan. The fact that nothing is planned (or not planned well) is out of my control.
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? I'm with you @serenaxo84 I'm all carbs all the time. I also have eaten 3 cookies so far today. I've gotta go easy on the junk but meat and veggies are just so unappealing.

Baby shower this weekend. And also, dr. Says she thinks Mr. Man will be here in 3 weeks. So we may have a september baby after all.

I've wanted any kind of fruit cobbler. Then when i finally went to the grocery store to get the fresh fruit, its like the craving just vanished as wuickly as it appeared.

I wanted to be a nurse. I'm not quite there yet, but i am a tech. Its not success, but its not failure either. i still do what i love.
@lilbabybrown Thanks! That is good to know! I have been so stressed about the previa that I haven't even really wrapped my thoughts around having my tubes tied.
@scostel2 craving carbs and baby is the size of a loaf of bread! Coincidence? I ate a bagel for lunch today and it was delicious!
@zuzu87 I hope everything goes well at the shower- it's nice that they are planning something! When all else fails just smile and nod politely.

I wanted to be a teacher. Which is funny cause now I could never even imagine dealing with some of the a holes that I went to school with. Teachers don't get paid enough for dealing with the shit they deal with on a day to day basis. Maybe that's my FFC too.

This past week or so I've started to get the whole "ready to be done with pregnancy" thing. I definitely want to make it to 40 weeks for baby's health and for timing convenience, but I'm starting to really want my body back now!
Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?
Back pain most days, uncomfortable chairs really do me in. Also lots of leg soreness, I guess my legs aren't used to holding up this much weight! Very fatigued by the end of the work day. Craving just all the food, especially sweets.

Oh yes, and I remember that during labor and right after, I was craving ice like no other!! There's an old wives' tale that if you're craving ice, you're iron deficient...maybe it's from all of the blood loss!

I was madly in love with Steve Irwin, and just KNEW that I would marry him one day (even though he was already married) and be a crocodile hunter with him ♡ I literally cried at work when the news story that he had been killed aired on our lobby television. I actually still hold onto my childhood dream of getting to work with animals, with or without a TV show.
