Bay area mom meet-up

Hello all!
I hope I am allowed to post this! My name is Brianna and I am 9 wks pregnant (yay!!). I live in Los Gatos Callifornia and was thinking it might be nice to have sme mommy friends to hang out with.
I was thinking it might be nice to make friends who have the same baby birth date. It would be so nice to get together with a group of girls once a week or even every other week to talk and maybe even do an activity. And once the babies come it would only seem natural for us to have the the little ones hang out too!!

I hope this sounds like a fun idea to some, I would reaaallyy love a genuine group of girlfriends with kids to pal around with

oh! yeah i guess thats a good point haha... how else do you do it then? I mean sometimes you have to put yourself out there to find friends right?

Knottie&numbers, try local organizations that already have meet ups, churches, mom's groups etc. At the least, you know you probably won't be meeting a 50 year old man in a windowless van.

Introduce yourself in the pinned post, be an active member of the community first. Basically get to know the people you think you want to be friends with, then be friends with them.
