Even though I really dislike the kardashians, I would probably be Kim kardashian.  I think it would be so crazy and surreal to experience her daily life
on the other hand I would've also loved to be Johnny cash for a day!

I would love to be my 2 year old son who is autistic. I think it would be tremendously eye opening for me to see the world through his eyes. I also think it would help my parenting skills when it comes to him to see and feel the world the way he does. Also, he makes it seems like being a toddler is the hardest thing in the world lol, so I need to check it out for myself and see what's so terrible about being 2.

R/R: Temp drop and spotting this morning. I actually wouldn't be so disappointed if I wasn't worried about having a potential 9 day LP. I'm hoping this is all a part of my body going back to normal after a miscarriage. And I'm also hoping AF will hold off until at least tomorrow because I'll feel minimally better about a 10 day LP.

CD/DPO: CD24/7dpo, but in actuality I'm pretty sure it'll end up being CD1 of the next cycle (ugh)

Testing: what's the point. pretty sure today is AF.

R/R: Still spotting, which makes 36 hours of brown spotting now. But this morning I woke up with cramps, too, so I'm pretty sure it's just a weird spotting start to AF. I'm pretty depressed about having such a short cycle and luteal phase two in a row, and I wish AF would just start in earnest now so I can spend the day getting drunk and watching the Olympics guilt-free. 

CS/Q: How long should I count this luteal phase? I started spotting overnight between 5dpo and 6dpo, and bleeding in earnest starts 7dpo, so a 7-day luteal phase? Or 6?

(I guess 7 would be marginally better than my six-day luteal phase last cycle? But still, barf) 

GTKY: Great answers on this so far, everyone. There are a lot of jobs I'd love to have for a day so I'd pick those -- archaeologists, anthropologists, head of the CIA, somebody who works at Area 51... hehe.

@adirat If bleeding starts today at 7dpo, then you have a 6 day luteal phase. FX it either holds off for a longer LP, or starts so you can move on to the next cycle.

R/R: 2 rants:
#1.  DH's family is miserable and are apparently jealous of our new house because they "don't have as much as us" so he got chewed out by the MIL this morning about that. What happened to be happy for your family when good things happen. 
#2. My mom and step dad and little sister are moving to Maine from Mass! :-( They have talking about it for years because that's were step-dad is from and they still have his house up there. Now they will be 3 hours away instead of 45 mins. Worst of all that means my childhood home is being sold. I think that is the hardest part of all this. 

CS/Q: having little pinching pains here and there

Crazy answer: Someone that can do magic like Hermione or Ginny.
More realistic answer: someone during Colonial days. I would love to see what it was like to live while the USA was still an "idea"

@adirat is there any way it could be implantation bleeding? Isn't 7dpo a normal implantation time? Or are your leutal phases always very short?

I wish it were implantation bleeding! I spent a lot of time googling that yesterday... I've only been charting for two cycles, and last cycle my luteal phase was also six days. (possible TMI) My brown spotting yesterday has turned into redder blood and some cramps today, so I think it's AF, unfortunately. I think I'll wait until the end of the day to make a determination about whether it's really CD1, just in case, but I don't have a lot of hope. Thanks for the positivity though

@AliciaGoose Both BBT and OPK, plus monitoring my CM starting this cycle (though I am not very good at that yet). I also get ovulation pain I'm pretty sure -- I've had pain in the appropriate location for two days before my temp spiked both cycles.

I'm thinking about getting some vitex/Fertility Blend based on this study: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17211965

Has anyone here tried it?

@adirat I was going to offer a CS, but it's hard to argue with a +OPK that aligns with a temp shift and all of those other signs! I haven't tried vitex but I know a lot of ladies here have. I just can't remember one to tag for you at this moment... Except maybe @antoto?

Welp, CD1 for me. Heavy ish brown spotting yesterday and full on CD1 overnight. Sooo yeah, 8/9 day LP. Awesome. I have my yearly at the end of this month so i will definitely be bringing this up. FX for all you ladies.

CS/Q: cramping off and on since around Ov which Google tells me I'm probably confusing with gas.

@adirat are you filling a pad or tampon on the day you are counting as CD1? If not, it's still considered spotting not AF. Have you just come off BCP?

@LadyMillil Yep, I'm in the official AF camp now. This is my second full cycle off BCP, which I had been taking for a couple of years to treat my endometriosis symptoms. My gyno told me to expect a weird first cycle, but because of my endo, having a lack of progesterone for the luteal phase makes me very nervous. Any tips/ideas? 

CD1 so I'm back to WTO. Good luck to all of you and I hope not to see you there!

When I came off BCP it was about 3  or 4 cycles before my LP was long enough @adirat . I see from your siggy that you have endo and hypothyroid which makes it tricky to determine if it's a short LP because you're regulating from BCP (which can take 6+ months) or if it's your thyroid or endo. I don't know if I would book an appointment with your doctor now, but maybe a call to see if they think you should wait a few more cycles or should get your thyroid and endo checked now.

R/R: Rave: my friend came over last night with her boyfriend and 4yo stepdaughter and we had tacos and roasted marshmallows on the fire and it was so fun that I laughed so hard I had tears at times. Rant: I only had two small glasses of wine and a Caesar but my head is killing me today. Hoping it's just a hormone headache from good things happening inside lol or maybe it's just a stupid sulphite headache, who knows! DH has a headache too but he was quite drunk lol He still wants to HIO tho and I'm so not interested lol

@LadyMillil Thanks, that's really helpful. It's good to know this may be caused by BCP. I've been thinking my endo was to blame for sure. I am seeing my endocrinologist at the end of August -- she directed me to come in and have my thyroid checked after my third cycle off the pill. My gyno told me to come in for fertility bloodwork if I have not conceived within six months of stopping BCP. She is the one who originally recommended I track my cycles for conception, which opened this whole world of fertility charting for me. She basically said that with endo, time is of the essence, hence my impatience (and I admit I am an impatient person generally, anyway).

Testing: FFC- I tested today knowing 100% it would be negative, I never have had a + before 13dpo, it was negative
R/R: rave: I had pinkish CM, could mean nothing, hoping it is IB. Could just be normal pre period spotting, but a girl can hope.
rant:  a 12 year old boy was died at a water park near me. I can't stop crying about it, so I am hiding out with my phone distracting myself while I pull it together. 
QOTD: I would be Donald Trump so that I could officially  resign my candidacy sorry you any Trump supporters, just how I feel.

@shstephenson sorry to hear about your Grandma, I hope she feels well soon. @erinh2005 I love Newport Beach! Have fun.
