I just had my anatomy ultrasound at 20 weeks and 2 days. I was diagnosed with a complete placenta previa and will have a repeat scan at 28 weeks. Anyone else have a similar situation?
I'm right here with you. I go in for another scan on Monday - crossing my fingers and toes. I had a partial previa with my first pregnancy which resolved itself by 28 weeks and I was able to have a vaginal delivery. Is this your first pregnancy? Wish you the best of luck!
I go back at 28 weeks for an ultrasound to see if it's cleared. Otherwise I'll be given more restrictions. Right now I was told to stop running and total pelvic rest. I hope it moves but my Dr wasn't too optimistic due to it being on my c section scar and hanging down.
A friend of mine was diagnosed with complete placenta previa too at 18 weeks (spotting, so they brought her in early). She was out on total pelvic rest and her placenta didn't move at all until 32 weeks and then just enough for partial previa. Now she's at 39, her placenta has completely moved and they predict she'll have a normal vaginal birth. She's most bummed that she wasn't able to exercise at all for the last 5 months. Sorry! I hope it moves soon!
