WAYDTGKU: The usual. CM, OPK, CP, Temping, and HIO
R/R: I should be getting a positive OPK today, if the usual cycle holds, but I have no EWCM, so I think I'm looking at a longer than normal cycle. Blech.
CS: Nope. This is my prettiest chart yet.
GTKY: DH is a surprisingly good gift giver - usually because I spend the time leading up to getting a gift making subtle suggestions. No real bad ones. My favorite was a long, long time ago - he got me the first generation kindle back when it first came out. I was skeptical originally, but I still use it almost every day and it's held up super well.
WAYDTGKU: Nothing but temping now, will HIO and check CM once period is over
R/R: DH is showing his first signs of really being excited about TTC, so that makes me happy. Before he was just kinda like *shrug* "Ok, sounds good".
CS/Q: Not today.
GTKY: DH is a good gift giver. I think between the two of us I'm the one that struggles coming up with good gifts. As for the best one, it's a toss up between the Pandora bracelet which was our first dating anniversary gift, or the first season of Outlander on DVD this past Christmas, because...
Also because the books are good.

R/R: No rants as of yet today. YAY! Rave - I finally worked out last night for the first time in MONTHS. I could only get through half, and in some ways it was a disaster. However, the sweaty plum I was afterwards must have turned DH on like mad, so Totes worth it. Food has been on point so I am actually feeling pretty good today! And it is something to obsess over that I DO have control over. So its a win win all around I suppose. I am walking like this today... And I have been asked 3 times already if I am ok. lol
CS/Q: Nada. Finally out of the red.
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? DH is an amazing gift giver. My favorite was a set of pink sapphire and diamond necklace and earrings. Then he suprized me this year with a beginners pandora bracelet with star wars charms. My most favorite was a simple bouquet of flowers for no reason.
WAYDTGKU: PNV, Baby aspirin, HIO when the time comes, Preseed, temping...
R/R: I have to go back to work tomorrow and I am so not ready!
CS/Q: None today! Thanks everyone for your help/advice with my temping question yesterday.
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? Hmm... this is good question! One of my favorites is a recipe box that's engraved with "Family Recipes" and my initials.
WAYDTGKU: HIO, BBT, PNV and OPK, you know, the usual.
R/R: I have to go back to work today and I don't want to. I know it is going to be a crazy day ahead, so I am getting all the coffee in now while I can.
Q/CS: nope.
GTKY: Our first Christmas together DH got be a pillow. It was so odd and unexpected, but he bought a super fancy one and said he noticed I was complaining of neck pains recently and wanted to help out. It was sweet, but very strange. He is definitely the better gift giver than me though!
@GrabberBlue2010 Work it girl! Way to go on the working out and eating healthy, keep it going! I totally know what you mean about the weird walk the next day though, haha.
WAYDTGKU: Nothing. I didn't want to try as hard this time around, at least for the first couple cycles!
R/R: My H's car crapped out on the way to work this morning. I just started SAH (after being our main breadwinner) so the repair bills are going to suck!!
CS/Q: I don't know what this means -- charting something/questions? Anyway, I don't have any questions & I'm not temping!!
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? Ok hmm... well, the worst gift was a UV manicure set. Like 10 UV nail polishes, the UV machine, everything you need for those manicures that last for-EV-er. Having nail polish that's almost impossible to remove makes me claustrophobic! UGH! It was a sweet thought though.
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? He's very good at gifts. I always know what he's getting me though, that's the one thing that stinks. Not that he gives it away. It's more, I think, that I know him so well I can predict what he's getting me. But I always act like I don't know, because he's just so cute and I don't want to ruin the fun. The best was probably this past Christmas. I have two wedding bands and in typical me fashion, I lost one before we even hit a year. Horrible feeling. So he bought me a new second band. Because he likes to reward poor behavior and I'm okay with that.
@GrabberBlue2010 I am in the same boat re:work outs. I started the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred DVD the other day after not exercising in a long time, and could barely walk at work the next day. I work in an ER and the patients were looking at ME with concern.

GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO?
H is not the best gift giver. He finds what works for someone and gets them the same thing every year. I've tried to break him of this habit, but it's been hard - especially when it comes to his family.
For the worst gift, it was pretty early in our relationship. (Maybe my 1st bday or maybe 1st xmas..? I can't rememember). Anyways, I had mentioned to him that I love bath stuff - like bubble baths, bath bombs, bath salts (not to eat ) and stuff like that. So the day comes, and he gives me like - 4 medium sized gift bags and I was so excited. ALL of them were FULL of bath and body works hand lotion. The first bag I opened I was like "Oh nice - this lotion is great". The second bag I was like "Oh... Ok. That's a lot of lotion." By the 4th bag, I was trying hard not to laugh. I had to explain to him that I loved the thought, but I only have 2 hands and I'm not quite sure what woman would need that much hand lotion in a year. He's gotten MUCH better since then and he really tries to find me unique and pretty things - and I love them - but that first year was a bust. We both laugh about it now. It was pretty funny in hindsight. I still had some of that lotion like 3 years later.
R/R: so I hate my body. I thought it was O'ing early then my temps changed and I O'd later, which was FF's expected time. If I get one more high temp tomorrow I'm off to TWW. Grrr. Timing won't be good because of work. I'm so annoyed. Stupid job.
CS/Q: nothing. Stupid temps.

He's terrible at gift giving if it's for a birthday, holiday, or anniversary but fantastic if it's a just because gift. He will randomly come home from work with my favorite sweets/candy bar or take me on a random trip to target. Target's a big deal since it's an hour away! Lol

@becky012016 I feel ya! I'm NEVER regular. For about a year I was on a bi-monthly cycle (1 month was 35 days, the next was 39, repeat.) Now it's all over the board again. It's within the normal range, but sucks.

R/R: I think my SIL/nephew got me a little sick when they were here last weekend... grr.
CS/Q: I've been really consistent temp-wise this month (between 97.1-97.2) and today it was at 97.7. I'm assuming this is probably because I'm a little under the weather? Just a sore throat and slight stuffy nose. But I haven't had any CM to speak of really, so I'm assuming it's not an O spike. Is that an accurate assumption? If so, should I discard today's temp in FF?
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? I'm a big fan of "dates" as a gift, I want DH to plan something fun for us to do. The best one he's given me was a brunch boat cruise that I had never been on and always wanted to! It was a BLAST!
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO?
My husband is pretty great with the gifts. For my 30th birthday he got me ALL THE PUSHEEN stuff (obviously he knows me pretty well). A giant plush, three t-shirts, a notebook, a keychain. I loved it.

R/R: Temp jump today, so yay! Unfortunately we missed O because DH had to be at work until 10:30 last night. I tried to stay up, but no dice.
CS/Q: Nooope!
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? Generally he's pretty good, but he always gravitates toward the newest tech-y gadget-y thing. Which I'm usually pretty meh about at first then end up loving (kindle, fitbit, garmin gps watch, etc). I'm the really bad gift giver. Last year for his birthday I got him a pretty trashcan. To be fair, though, all he did was complain about how ugly the one we had was!
@KhRun17, I wouldn't discard the temp yet, I would wait a few days and see if it stays elevated. It's possible to ovulate that early, so maybe get some BD in just incase. But I think equally likely it's from illness/room temp/ some other factor. Just just wait a few days and if your temp comes back down and stays down you can probably assume it was a fluke. That's what I would do anyway.

GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? We don't do a lot of gifts...seriously we only do tiny things for birthdays and Christmas (usually we just tell the other person what we want), and nothing for anniversary, valentine's day, etc. But DH did buy me a really pretty necklace as a "push present" after DD was born. I did not expect him to get me anything so I was pretty surprised. It's a pink pearl (her birthstone) with diamonds all around it, that he said he thought looked like the diamonds were arms holding the pearl, like I was the diamonds and DD was the pearl. He had gone to dozens of stores looking for something like it and eventually ordered it online because he couldn't find what he wanted anywhere else. it was very sweet from someone who is never like that, so that was probably the best gift. Also I was super emotional PP, so obviously I cried about it. Ha.
CS/Q: I experienced a temp dip after yesterday's post-O high (I'm pretty sure -- my CM and disappearing o-pain support O CD17 with CD18 being my highest temp). Confused, I've spent the morning so far reading about fallback rises. I don't know how I'm going to get back to work when I just discovered the FF page "chart variations" though...
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO?
We're both so bad at it that we usually don't give each other gifts and instead take each other out to dinner. Otherwise we'd always be disappointed.
WAYDTGKU: Temping, CM, plan to HIO ED except CD 15
R/R: I saw EWCM last night. The earliest I have ever seen it, but I had been feeling really moist down there all day long. If this is any indication, I might O 2-4 days from now. Also, last cycle I had a massive headache the day before and the day of O, and it's back. I was not prepared for this! I was not expecting to O for another week! Time to HIO!!!
Saturday night (CD 15) is the night we will be in a hotel room with all the kids, so no HIO that day. Hopefully I O before then, or it holds off.
CS/Q: None today.
GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO?
DH is not a good gift giver. He always just asks me what I want, so there is no surprise. I even had to tell him to buy me flowers for Valentine's Day (didn't care if they were roses). For my birthday this last year, he didn't get me anything. **TW loss** I got a BFP 4 days before my birthday, so he says his present to me was a baby. Sadly, I had a MC the day after my birthday. **TW over** I also don't think he got me anything for our anniversary. We go on a little trip every year to the beach for our anniversary and he claims that was my present, but we have a joint account, so it's not like he paid for it. Also, I always get him a present that goes with the traditional anniversary gift theme.
@GrabberBlue2010 That's awesome that you are starting a workout regimen!
@delujm0 That present is so sweet. Especially because you weren't expecting it and he put so much thought into it.

The worst gift was probably this Christmas. Two Christmases (?) ago he got me a food processor which I was very excited about. Well, a month after the warranty expired the post that held the shredder disk broke and because it was a Black Friday special we couldn't get a replacement part, so last Christmas he got me a brand new food processor, which was thoughtful, but not nearly as exciting as the first one. I wish we would have just agreed to replace the old one then he could have got me something else for Christmas. Oh well!

@KirstinH88 Sounds like both our husbands could use some help in the gift giving department! i.e. GET A GIFT. Also, since we're CD twins, I hope my body follows yours and O's a little sooner than it has been.
@KhRun17. Never knee-jerk discard temps. Make a note if there's a reason you think it could be off, and if FF has trouble deyecting your O, then you can go back and tweak things... ;)

GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO? SO H gets me very sensible gifts, so I don't think I would categorize any of them as "worst" because I use every single one of them. Probably the one I like the most is a dark green wool pea coat.
Hey - I hope no one minds me introducing myself and jumping in. First date with DH I lost an earring that I really liked. A couple of dates later he gave me a new pair that were almost identical but nicer actually. He had secretly taken the one I didn't lose and looked all over for a pair just like them. I probably fell in love with him right there!

R/R: Had a wonderful time while DH was home and our BD schedule was better than ever but he's gone until Thursday night or Friday and no O or EWCM yet. I really wanted to HIO again this morning but he usually needs some turnaround time and we DTD last night lol So guess we'll just wait and see. My only confirmed O through temping so far was cd16 but every cycle has been different post-mc, but if he IS home Thursday night that wouldn't be too bad. His schedule constantly changes tho, so ya....just hope for the best!
CS/Q: I've only been tracking CP this cycle and it felt softer this morning than yesterday but I don't know how soft it gets lol Should I still mark it as medium? Does it matter?
GTKY: DH isn't a big gift giver. His gifts for special occasions are usually food-related, like lobster for Valentine's Day, etc...which I'm totally cool with! He does great with "gifts for no reason", tho. This week he got me a really cute color changing mug with Pelicans on it from David's Tea
Follow-up to my post earlier... May I ask you ladies a question since I am only on cycle 2 of tracking? How long do you have EWCM after O? I'm CD19, I think I'm 2dpo, and had EWCM plus lubricative feeling today.
All I can find online from FF is that it should dry up right away after O. Not very helpful.
R/R: I AM IN A RUT. There are no houses for sale in the area I want to move. My weight loss is just bump, bump, bump. And who in the heck knows what's going on with my TTC?? *sobs hysterically*
Yeah, today is one of those woe is me type of days I guess. I need me some ice cream and a sobby kind of movie like STAT.
My CM is creamy. Last cycle this happened and it just stayed that way until I took Provera to start the next cycle. My opks are doing this weird thing where the whole line isn't forming. Like, it's not as thick as the control line. I can't find anywhere on the internet to explain why that's happening. It's making reading my results VERY difficult. I've had 2 boxes of them do this to me. And the wondfos did it too the first cycle I started using OPKs. I'm using kroger brand right now. My doctor is not getting back to me about my test results. I've called them twice today and they haven't answered the phone. My bbt has been like stable for the last 5 days. It's weird.
Also, does anyone else get thin lines on their opks?
GTKY: My husband doesn't really do gifts. I have to hound him to get me stuff for Christmas, even though I just set him loose on my amazon wish list with a budget. I think the worst thing he ever got me was a watch. I said I wanted a watch, so he went into WalMart and bought me this really thick banded giant purple watch because I love purple, and he saw purple and BAM. It made my arm look super huge. I have to be careful because of how large I am. I wanted to love it because he picked it out himself, but I also wanted to cry because I felt like a cow with jewelry on. Poor guy. He saw my face and I explained and it was okay. I'm not good at hiding stuff from him and I think that works out for us in the long run, anyway.

@Mythril Sorry you're in a rut. So strange about the OPKs -- I've never heard of that before. Is the color the same as the control line? I think the color is the main thing so maybe it's an early surge but not the highest surge you'll get?
@adirat That's the hard thing to tell! I think on CD17 and CD20 they were as dark. But it's reeeeeaaaaaally hard to compare.

@adirat I was taught the Billings Ovulation Method for tracking CM. That teaches that "the last day of the slippery (EWCM) sensation is the most fertile day in the cycle and is termed the Peak..." It only counts as leading to peak if there is at least 3 days of CM noticed, and it is a changing pattern from sticky to slippery/EW.
So, based on that.... you wouldn't have EWCM after O. The last day of EWCM is O.
@marybpoppins Yes my cycles have definitely changed even in the past couple months. However, I was not one to track the best so its possible they haven't changed as much as it seems like they have for me. It is really frustrating. Last month I had more intense cramping and crazy hormones, it was the worst cycle I have had. I really thought it was my month but nope. Sorry AF came!
@marybpoppins Sorry for CD1! Did you just come off BC, or have you been off for a few months? My first AF after my IUD was taken out was AWFUL. The worst cramps that I had had in years. The second one wasn't as bad, so I hope that yours get better as time goes on.
@Kim41313 No, I was only on BC for a few months back in like 2007. It's just strange because I never spot a week before AF is due, so I thought I had IB. @bswishe4 I'm glad it's not just me! It's like one month of TTGP has my body confused already!

GTKY: What is the best and/or worst gift that you ever received from your H/ SO?
Best - in college he saved up for a long time for a silver Tiffany ring for our 2nd dating anniversary. I loved it but he was also so proud.
Worst - he totally failed to get me a gift on my birthday this year. So his worst gift was nothing at all!

Generally he's pretty good, but he always gravitates toward the newest tech-y gadget-y thing. Which I'm usually pretty meh about at first then end up loving (kindle, fitbit, garmin gps watch, etc). I'm the really bad gift giver. Last year for his birthday I got him a pretty trashcan. To be fair, though, all he did was complain about how ugly the one we had was!

Ha.

Hmm, I think DH is a pretty good gift giver. The best gift he ever gave me was my kindle. I hadn't even thought of getting one but I love reading and I use it all the time.
Oh well!

It's weird.
CS/Q: Okay everyone, look at my chart and be as confused as I am! My Ovulation Chart

Here's where I check my info usually. https://billings.life/en/guidelines-to-achieve-pregnancy.html
Good luck!
