*Losses Mentioned*
I had my 8 week appointment last week, and there was no baby, fetal pole, or yolk sac. I was kind of suspecting it because the week before my symptoms had started to vanish. Doctor said it was a blighted ovum -- it stopped growing around 6 weeks, but since our first appointment wasn't until 8 weeks, we didn't know. This is our second time being pregnant and second loss, after about a year of trying. We are devastated of course, but trying to stay hopeful about our first visit with a fertility specialist in September.
I am so happy for all of you though, and I'll probably stop in from time to time to lurk a little. Seeing your happy posts and US pic gives me hope that miracles are possible and that ours will happen eventually. Love to you all!

I had 3 losses before I carried full term with my first. I also saw a fertility specialist and dos 6 rounds of fertility treatments and was unsuccessful on all 6. The reason why I am sharing is that my 3 MC were all from low thyroid. But, it looked normal on all the blood tests the fertility doctor did. So, when you have blood drawn, you may want to take it to a regular endo (not a reproductive endo) to get a second option on your thyroid levels. Also, this may be something you want to do before you se the RE in Sept and a lot of times the RE you pay for out of pocket but the regular endo is covered by insurance.
Sorry for for the long response, but I could have written your post myself so many times. I just wanted to share some insight as I wasted so much time and money at the fertility doctor when it was such an easy fix. Not saying you will have the same experience, but navigating the world of infertility is hard and confusing!
Sending so many prayers your way!
