Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss
Options

Introduction

I've gone to type my intro a couple times and just can't seem to figure out what to say. DH and I have been TTC for 19 months and had our first IVF cycle and it unfortunately ended in a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage.

I took several HPT and they all came back positive but the day of my first beta the line suddenly got lighter.  I instantly knew this wasn't good.  Our first beta was 54 and then our second fell slightly to 51 but they said there was still a chance and to come back.  So I went in Saturday and my beta was 27 so we were for sure losing our pregnancy. I go back in on Friday to see where my HCG level is and then we will see what happens from there.

I feel guilty being so upset over something that hardly even started but it just really impacted me a lot more than I thought it would.  I'm thankful that we have frozen embryos to use for future cycles but I still can't help but morn the loss of this embryo of ours.

I'm sorry that any of us have to be here. :(

I'm so sorry for your loss and this time for sure is a difficult one. The women on here are great and we are all here for support. I too had a CP and it's really such a high to low experience. You get all this joy and excitement of picturing your future to have it quickly come crashing down. Just remember to give yourself time to emotionally cope and reach out to all your closest friends and family because you truly will need them. I found that positive affirmations helped me and the support from the community. You are never alone just remember that. I'll be thinking of you today during this tough time and I'm sending all my positive thoughts <3@Worldtravler0522
