Cerclage @ 13 weeks

Hello! I was curious with other's experience with a cerclage. We lost our daughter @ 18+4 last year and when I got pregnant after her, the dr mentioned to do a cerclage at 13 weeks. We unfortunately didn't make it that far, but mentioned it again this pregnancy (hopefully we make it to there). He mentioned that we lost her due to PPROMS and most likely an incompetent cervix.

I do not have experience but a friend of mine did and it worked well for her. Discomfort at first, but healthy full term baby
