How many weeks? 29 weeks!

What size is baby? cottontail rabbit, he weighed 2 lbs 10 oz at last week's ultrasound

Upcoming appointments? Next week, starts my first bi-weekly appt.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: I've had a really bad sore throat for more than 3 weeks now and a cough that won't quite go away. I had a cold weeks ago but can't seem to shake the sore throat. My new theory is that acid reflux is irritating my throat so that it hasn't been able to heal from my cold because my throat is always worse at night and in the morning. I started sleeping slightly propped up but last nighT I woke up to throwing up acid in my mouth A LOT, it was so nasty. Rave: going to NY for my baby shower on Saturday, I'm so excited!!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? Acid reflux, see above. Some queasiness has returned from first tri. Starting to get difficult to get comfortable at night because my hips hurt. Overall I can't really complain, I feel very lucky for minimal symptoms since second tri.

GTKY: What/who do you think your LO will look like? No idea! I have dark brown hair and eyes, DH has light brown hair (turned light brown from blonde as a kid) and blue eyes. I'm excited to see what combination of my Italian genes and his German/Nordic genes this baby gets!

How many weeks? 26 weeks

What size is baby? Kale but he was measuring a little smaller last u/s so we'll see on Monday 

Upcoming appointments? Monday we go back to the fetal specialist to check on baby's kidneys. I pray they have gotten better and the fluid is gone. 

Rants/Raves/Questions? (small pitty party rant). No one in our families cares to throw us a baby shower or even a small get together to celebrate this baby. I'm not throwing one myself because I really don't need that added stress of throwing my own baby shower. But it's so overwhelming that everyone is so self involved that no one has time.  Rave: my husband has been so great through everything. He spends so much more time with our DS whose 3 because I just wanna sit with my swollen feet up. He's so awesome! 

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? acid reflux like crazy. Can't sleep sometimes at night. My hips hurt when I lay on it too long. Shortness of breath just walking up the stairs. Swelling feet when I do too much during the day. Cravings: lemons! But that's really it now. It's kinda died down. And the Lemons don't help with the acid reflux but they are so yummy! 

GTKY: What/who do you think your LO will look like? It's really hard to say. Our first son was bald with blue eyes and had a good mixture of both my husband and I. Everyone said he was the milk man's baby cuz they couldn't figure out who he looked like. So I'm excited and nervous about what this new baby boy will look like.

Upcoming appointments? consultation with the anesthesiologist

Rants/Raves/Questions? My glucose screen can back high, so I have to do the 3-hour screening Last week at work though, so there's that!

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions? It's getting harder to sleep because my hips have started hurting if I stay on one side too long, meaning I'm rolling over a lot throughout the night. Other than that, nothing new.

GTKY: What/who do you think your LO will look like? My husband's family and my family all have very prominent noses, i.e. he and his siblings all have the exact same nose (their dad's) and me and my sister have the exact same nose (my mom's). It will be interesting to see which nose gene wins! Also baby will probably have blue eyes and brown hair because both my husband and I do.

Upcoming appointments? Next doctor appointment will be next week for the 30 week appointment.  But today we are doing out hospital maternity wing tour and tonight our little man has "Siblings Class" - he is super excited! 

Rants/Raves/Questions? Trying to figure out when to start my labor/delivery class, with our work schedules we can't make the in person ones so we'll be doing the online class that's new. Thankfully we will have the content for 8 weeks after we sign up, but knowing August is crazy I don't know when we'll have the time to sit down and go through the information. 

Symptoms/Cravings/Aversions?  I feel like my appetite has been crazy lately, even if I try to eat healthy snacks of fruits and vegetables I feel like it makes me even hungrier and doesn't satisfy my appetite.  Thankfully though the scale hasn't caught up with what I feel my appetite has been. 

GTKY: What/who do you think your LO will look like? I think he's going to look like big brother rather than my husband and I.  No one can still fully decide who our son looks like, it's always different depending on who you ask.  Although I'm guessing little man will have light hair (like mom and big brother) with dark eyes (like daddy and big brother).
