Virus and No Appetite

Hello!

Well, I've been chatting w/y'all so much today and I have a little question so I thought I'd make a post.

I'm brand-new pregnant, 4 weeks, 3 days today.  Problem is, H and I both came down with an extremely virulent enteric virus over 4th of July (hooray!)  High fever (103!) for days, major GI involvement. I won't get into detail, but we were SICK.  H saw the doctor and a culture revealed none of the usual bacterial suspects of food poisoning (C. dif., giardia, salmonella, etc.) so we all concluded it was a nasty virus.  I was unable to eat solid food for about 5 days straight.  I still have lingering effects, the virus and symptoms are going on 2 weeks now.  I cannot digest fruit, vegetables, and whole grains w/o deleterious effects (anyone who saw that vegan maki roll I made, it was healthy AF but it WRECKED me). 

I am the type of person who can go long periods without eating if I'm not hungry.  And I'm just not hungry, at all.  I've eaten a few crackers today but I'm roaming around NYC with any kind of food at my fingertips and nothing is appealing.  I can't tell if it's just leftover from the virus or a pregnancy symptom.  Anyway, I'm cognizant of all the early development occurs in the first few weeks and I'm wondering if I should force myself to eat?  Will almost a week total w/o much food be detrimental?  If this were just one day I probably wouldn't make a post, but there have been several days during this very new pregnancy where I've been unable to eat anything but clear jello, chicken broth, Saltines, and a few noodles here and there.  I have been very on top of my hydration and haven't had alcohol since July 3rd (well before we knew about this).  Also taking prenatal vitamins.  

What would y'all do?  Give in to the temptation to just not eat (while continuing to hydrate)?  Or should I force myself to eat something?  I mean, it's after 5:00 and I've probably had about 200 calories today.  Not exactly "eating for two".
