  • @Tulips29 I'm glad that people aren't too nosy. Hopefully you can get through it without anyone saying anything at all.  The Bachelorette party should be fun, but I definitely won't be out late with everyone. Hehe.

  • @mjacks16 I am so sorry that your appointment wasn't the best. I hope babe grows quick and catches up. My appointment wasn't the best today either. My SCH (blood clot) has gotten bigger :(. Still no bleeding since last Friday but I'm definitely expecting it. Good news was that baby is still looking perfect and growing on track. But I'm still really worried.

  • @mjacks16 I just saw your post, I'm so sorry that things didn't go as planned. I really hope baby continues to grow and you won't have to worry about a MS. Praying for you!

@chicandbubbly what does this blot clot mean? I'm glad that your baby is growing and things are on track. I'm sorry that you have to worry, but hopefully the fact that all is will with the baby can easy your worries at least a bit? Will be praying and thinking of you too and hoping for some peace of mind.

  • Thank you @tulips29 this article explains it https://www.justmommies.com/articles/subchorionic-hematoma.shtml. My RE says it is pretty common and the likelihood is high that it will resolve and I will go on to have a healthy pregnancy so I am just trying to take it day by day and relax even though it is scary for me.

  • @chicandbubbly glad your first OB appt went well. Sorry to hear about the blood clot. But glad that baby is growing on track.

@mjacks16 FX and praying that your appt on Tuesday goes well.

@Tulips29 hoping they have other things preoccupying their minds so they don't focus on you. But I'm glad they may not be too nosey.

@dragonfaerie have fun at the party! I hear you on the exhaustion and emotions. I've been very exhausted this week. So much so that I've been telling DH to just let me sleep.

  • @WishingforLuck Yeah, I hear you. I actually was feeling a bit weepy last night because I was tired and didn't feel well, and I felt bad that I've been such a lump on a log. Yay hormones.

@Tulips29  I can relate. We've been avoiding people or just haven't been telling people where I was at in the IVF process. The way I see it is that this awkwardness (avoiding people or not knowing how to respond to people) will be going on just a little longer. Once it is out in the open, this time period will not seem so important.

We're still avoiding big parties and events for a couple of weeks, but we decided to tell a few people since we were making plans with them. They've seen me since I've been pregnant where we didn't say anything. Now the first set of test results were came back, we're telling people if we have plans with them, but I don't feel comfortable going to any big parties yet until it's really out in the open. I'm going to a family event in a couple of weeks. I want my relatives to learn the news before then and I don't mind having one-on-one conversations with others about it, but I'm going to tell my uncle not to make any public announcements. The event is for his daughter, and I know he'll mention if someone else has a birthday or any other exciting news.
