LO is 9 months old and has two top and two bottom teeth. I have tried a damp washcloth wrapped around my finger and also one of those silicon finger cups that you wear with the soft silicon bristles. He does like to chew on both forms of "toothbrush" but he doesn't let me rub his teeth effectively. It becomes such a struggle that I don't even try this every day. I've read about making a game out of it but maybe I'm not creative enough to come up with one? Any ideas would be welcomed.
So far, my little one doesn't mind it. I let him hold the toothbrush and play with it for a few seconds before we brush.
My sister used to sit my nephew on the counter and put his feet in the sink with a little water running on them while she brushed his teeth. It distracted him from how much he hated having his teeth brushed. Good luck!
