Haha @MelissaM090 ! I don't actually do that, but it sounds satisfying. It reminded me of mine- this morning I watched one of those cyst popping videos on Facebook. It was like 4 minutes long and I was literally queasy afterward, but I just. couldn't. stop.
DH asked me to clean out our freezer today since thats part of a big clean we need to do and he has work. Thing is, today is my 1st real day of summer break, and I already decided I'm doing nothing but relaxing. I told him I would do it knowing full well that I actually won't, and already plan to tell him I forgot when he gets home tonight. Hello Netflix, bump, reading, pool, and shopping day! No cleaning allowed.
I have two "step" sons. I put step in quotes because I truly love them so much as if they were my own. They are more than just "steps" to me. We have them EVERY weekend (and more) but here goes my FFFC. This weekend their mom is going to keep them and I couldn't be more thrilled! It's nice to have that weekend break from 3 kids (2 steps and 1 bio) and just have 1 (DS). It's so much calmer and quieter. DH and I already have plans to do a ton of yard work and go on a date night (it's also easier to find a sitter for 1 kid than it is for 3).
Last night DH had to work late and i knew I'd be on my own for dinner. Well after DS went to bed. I ate all the chinese food and binged on netflix. I probably shouldnt have since we are trying not to spend too much money on things we dont need. DH came home just as I cleaned up the evidence and brought me a huge chocolate cupcake from his work function. I ate the whole thing and it was amazing. No shame.
I cleaned the house yesterday for like 3 hours, and didn't feel like cooking dinner, so we got Chinese food, despite a fridge stocked with veggies from our garden and CSA.
Whatever, Fitspo.

When someone is tail-gating me on the highway I really want to slam on my brakes, but I don't do it because I don't want to deal with getting rear-ended.
I don't understand why people love Ellen DeGeneres. My MIL was watching Ellen and I had to leave after 5 minutes because it was so bad.
I haven't put my laundry away for like 3 months. I always put away FI's, but mine sits folded in baskets until the next school break. His days off are days off and mine are for cleaning. He does cook and do dishes and actually wash / dry laundry but I do the rest besides mowing the lawn and I hate that! I secretly love when he's at work so I can do the dishes later and eat lazy meals without feeling guilty.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
I don't know what's so wrong about being basic. There's a reason so many people do the things that are negatively labeled "basic." I take pics of my food on Insta, I'll have a pumpkin spice latte or two and wear the f*ck out of some leggings and boots.

I don't understand the new slang. I feel old when people talk about being basic, on fleek, that kind of stuff. I feel like I need a new, cool kid dictionary.

Piggybacking off @ahrains, I don't know what's so wrong about liking the popular things. I've gotten so much flack over Superman being my favorite superhero because "he's everyone's favorite". So? I'm not allowed to like things that other people like? I have to go find some obscure passion so that I can be unique like you? No thanks, I'm going to like what I like.

On the subject of tailgating... a few months ago there was a hilarious video on our local news. Some guy was really tailgating the crap out of another car. The car in the front tapped their brakes and the tailgating car freaked out and went off the road into the ditch. I say it is hilarious because no one got hurt. haha! I totally want that to happen to every tailgater out there.
My FFFC is pretty "basic". (see what I did there?! I enjoy being basic as well.) I blocked two pregnant women from my Facebook newsfeed today. I just am having a hard time dealing with my BFN today and a bump picture today made me cry. So, I decided it was better for my sanity to just block a couple people I am less personally invested in.

FFFC I have had a headache all day and have done probably 30 minutes of actually work. I'm just sitting in my office watching House of Lies, #Sorrynotsorrybossman #It'sFriday
The main office group of developers made yet another kneejerk decision that has negatively affected our office by making it impossible for us to do our jobs, and I've given up and am going to draw a mural on the glass doors that people keep running into.

Normally there are a few other people in my office building but they're all out today for various reasons. So, I'm wearing basically yoga pants and a hoodie and I brought my dog since it is Bring Your Dog to Work Day. A couple guys from Comcast Business just stopped by doing their check in with people rounds. The one was kind of cute in that almost model-ish but looks kinda smarmy/douchey way. He had given me his card and said something about "if you need any local service". The teenager in me barely kept it together. Yeeeahhh, you can give me some local service! Hahaha.

@whiska OMG, yes. I was looking for something in my black hole of a purse the other day and ran across the tie for my winter coat. That I was annoyed by and put there. In the winter. And just noticed now. Yikes.
My FFFC is that I will use disposable bowls and plates for my lunch because I'm too lazy to actually walk to the break room on the other side of the building to wash my dish. Or to even take it home and put it in the dishwasher. Speaking of lunch confessions, I also make sure to squeeze every drop of dressing that I can on to my favorite Pasadena Salad from Trader Joe's.

If it is a nice looking car I ALWAYS tap the breaks like "back the F off or buy me a new Jeep!".....however, if it isn't a nice car I don't do it because there are so many damn people in this town that don't have car insurance! I seriously have like 3 friends that don't have car insurance! It scares the crap outta me! lol
@KristoB SOCKS ARE THE WORST! I basically live in flip flops from March to October. And when I don't wear flip flops I wear sperry's or other shoes that don't really require socks. The one thing I do though is wear fuzzy socks all the time when I'm home because we always keep it super cold in our apartment. They feel different because they don't suffocate my feet.
@mrsstuessy I'm totally on board with the Facebook blocks. DH actually straight up deleted someone after a Facebook announcement yesterday. TTC is HARD! And sometimes seeing those things just pushes you over the edge. Hugs to you.
1. I find not wearing socks with tennis shoes disgusting. It makes me want to gag.
2. It was casual Friday today. I busted the ass out of my jeans I've had since college about 6 minutes after I got to work and I duct taped them back together and went on about my day.

I just am having a hard time dealing with my BFN today and a bump picture today made me cry. So, I decided it was better for my sanity to just block a couple people I am less personally invested in.
DH: 30 year old pneumatic electrical engineer

Sept. 2016: FSH, AMH, E2, TSH, etc. all normal. | Oct. 2016: HSG all clear! | Nov. 2016: Hysteroscopy & H's SA both great results

My confession: I love one of our dogs more than the other. If he ever switches loyalties and likes H more than me, I will lose my effing mind.

@Dilynne Yes to everything you said. A few months back I asked the 18 year old cashiers at my work what "on fleek" meant and they all started to laugh at me because I pronounced it incorrectly. I walked away totally mortified lol.
@KristoB I HATE HATE HATE socks as well! I also hate cotton balls. The cotton they use in vitamins completely gives me the willies. It's called Sidonglobophobia...thanks Dr Google
FFFC I have had a headache all day and have done probably 30 minutes of actually work. I'm just sitting in my office watching House of Lies, #Sorrynotsorrybossman #It'sFriday

It scares the crap outta me! lol

@mrsstuessy I'm totally on board with the Facebook blocks. DH actually straight up deleted someone after a Facebook announcement yesterday. TTC is HARD! And sometimes seeing those things just pushes you over the edge. Hugs to you.

2. It was casual Friday today. I busted the ass out of my jeans I've had since college about 6 minutes after I got to work and I duct taped them back together and went on about my day.
