Checked into labor and delivery and getting penicillin (gbs+) this baby is coming soon! I'm hoping I can make it through without an epidural again, but I'm worried it's going to be harder than with my last one. Fingers crossed the next several hours go well!

I started having contractions about 5 min apart that afternoon. Got checked in to the hospital arpund 5pm at 3cm to get my penicillin. Labored for 5 hours and was at a 4, so opted for an epidural. But by the time they finally gave me the epi (contractions were very strong and close together) I only had about 10 contractions before my water broke, I threw up, and the contractions started pushing baby out on their own. She came out after 5 contractions and only one push. The epidural never worked all the way, but took some edge off for the final delivery at least.
It looks like this recovery might be a little tougher for me, but we are so happy to have our little girl here!
